Its not that often that I write reviews, but sometimes, businesses go above and beyond and I feel that I must comment on it. Ive been going to Sparkletone DryCleaning for a good number of years now and I am always surprised by the quality of their customer service. I only go there about 8-9 times a year but they always seem to remember me. I do not know her name, but the woman that I usually deal with, is super friendly, super courteous and goes above and beyond every time. Last year, one of my shirts had a rip that I was unaware of. She pointed it out to me when I dropped it off and told me that she would fix it. I said thanks and expected to pay extra for the service the next day when I picked it up. Instead, I was charged nothing extra and I was amazed. Yesterday, the same thing happened with a pair of pants that I dropped off. Again, I had no idea, but there was a rip in the seam and she pointed it out and told me that she would take care of it! What the heck. They do not have to do this and it really amazes me. We get so used to piss poor customer service at most places we go on a daily basis. Its a breath of fresh air to get treated so well every single time. Lastly, they do a great job! My clothes always look great when I get them back.

This place was awful! They do not do their cleaning in-house but send them away to be cleaned. Due to this, they ended up losing two of my dress shirts. When I confronted the owner about getting reimbursed for the lost shirts, he told me it wasnt his fault and that he wasnt responsible for any lost items. He was very rude and unprofessional. I would stay far away from this place especially if you want your clothes back. Instead, I would recommend using Executive Dry Cleaners up by Christos on 52. I used them for the final 3 years of my tenure at Purdue and never had any problems.

Ive been there 3 times now and I loved it. My shirts look great and my jackets are like brand new. I dont know the staff members names (maybe it was the owner) but theyre extremely nice. I had a couple of wrinkled ties and I took them there to see if they were salvageable. They gave it their best shot and made them look better but wouldnt accept payment because they werent perfect! (If you dont know, once ties are wrinkled, theyre usually done for).

Very expensive. Its customer service varies with personnel. And they should put more effort in remodeling their building because it looks very old and uncared-for.
