I had a flat tire and called Firestone to inform them of that fact, and said I was going to use Fix-a-Flat (aerosol temporary patch/inflator) to drive it in for them to repair. He said theyd take a look at it. When I brought it in, I said I was the fellow who called a few minutes earlier, and that Id used Fix-a-Flat. "Well, you just ruined your tire," he said, and said its impossible to repair, that F-a-F weakens the rubber, makes it unsafe to drive, etc. etc. Apparently, its Firestones company policy to refuse to repair tires patched with F-a-F. So its rather dishonest to NOT MENTION THAT when I explicitly told them on the phone that I was about to do just that. Funny, no warning about how unsafe F-a-F was BEFORE I used it and drove it to their shop. When the counter guy asked about whether I wanted to buy one new tire or four, I said I thought they were in fairly good shape. He went out to look at them and returned, saying theyre "pretty worn." Not wanting one new and three older tires, I said fine. After I got home, I found the receipt for the previous set of tires. Less than 23,000 miles on them. "Pretty worn" after only 23K miles? I shouldve been more skeptical but was off guard, thinking I was running in for a quick patch, not expecting a flip-flop on their services and not expecting Id need to know the vintage of my tires that day in the face of a highly questionable diagnosis. I will not be coming back.

I called in about 8:20 A.M. for a last minute-- needed a NEW tire kind of situation. They said they would be able to fit me in about 1 P.M. that afternoon. No -- problem but I mentioned I would need a ride back to work, and they said they would have someone there about 9 A.M. Got there at about 8:30 A.M. to drop my car off to get a new tire. As I waited.. I noticed there was a Starbucks within walking distances-- so I ran over to grab a quick coffee, while I waited for 9 A.M. to roll around. I returned about 15 mins later to see them pulling my car to the front. I was a tad confused.. but noticed what look to be a brand new tired ALREADY ON MY CAR!! I was completely blown away-- they managed to fit me in this morning and TAKE all of the worries out of my day. ( I wasnt complete sure how I was going to get back to pick up my car later, and now I didnt have to worry about any of that!) I am so grateful that they did all of that-- and It was a complete surprise. Great Service!

Have taken my vehicles to this certain firestone multiple times, and as ive heard certain people talk about unpleasant visits here mine was the complete opposite the staff was very helpful and didnt give off a "i know more than you" attitude. upon one of my visits i went in for a oil change and asked if i could go underneath the car as i had been hearing some rattling from muffler want wanted to know exactly where it came from. the gentleman was not bothered at all by the request and helped me find the noise and offer a suggestion of what bolts to tighten. all in all it was a great service. P.s i would have given 5 stars but i live in the apartments behind them and sometimes the way they park the cars they are working on can get in the way of the driver while driving by the side of the building.

Discount Tire is WAY BETTER! I went to firestone on March 27th to patch up a flat tire. My tire was still leaking after I had it patched up from Firestone so I assumed I needed a brand new tire. On April 15, I went to Discount tire and it turned out, Firestone didnt even patch up my flat tire! Looking back on my firestone receipt, they did the WRONG TIRE. I dont understand how that would have happened, because when you check in, you explain what problems your having with your vehicle. I CLEARLY told them it was my back tire on the drivers side. This experience was a waste of money and time.

Ive had several great experiences at this Firestone location. Most recently they replaced my front control arm and wheel bearings. The parts came in one day after I requested service and the repair was completed on time. I trust them to do a good job on any simple to semi-complex repair job. The staff is extremely pleasant, helpful, honest and professional. I highly recommend this Firestone location to anyone who is looking for a reputable car repair shop.

I had a bad experience with another store and in trying to get to the solution I called this store and spoke with Amy (Manager) and she went over and beyond her duties to make things right and to keep me as a Firestone customer, in the process I also dealt with Miguel and Amanda as well all three of these employees are very courteous and professional I would recommend this store to all of my friends and family, Thank you guys for all you have done!!!

I was passing by Des Moines on my cross country to California and noticed Im way overdue on my engine oil change so I called up this location and the woman on the phone was able to fit me in as a walk in. When I got there I didnt have to wait and was done in less than an hour. I recommend going to this shop!

There is nowhere else I will take my vehicles! Matt and his crew run things very efficiently. Had bad experiences in the past with different LOF places and Im happy to say out of multiple times coming here, there was never a time where I left feeling swindled or cheated. Great store!

I brought my car in thinking I had bad brakes. They said the brakes were fine. Other gargages would have just replaced my brakes and said nothing. I got the oil changed and went on my way! Thanks for be honest. I will definitely be taking my car the full time from now on.
