Last night after normal operating hours I called HP&P after discovering my water heater had sprung a leak, Their on-call service tech contacted me back within 15 minutes of the original call and was able to walk me through temporarily disabling the water heater to get us by until the next day. He did this instead of having come out to do it himself, which effectively saved me $130+ /hr for after hours work. This certainly won our continued business. The next morning HP&P actually reached back out to me before I could contact them to check in on us and to follow-up and see if we needed the unit replaced, They gave me a two hour window in which one of their Techs would be available and their tech Rich contacted me and arrived within the specified window. While in my house Rich was extremely helpful and professional explaining all the ins & outs of the unit he was installing. The work was performed under the estimated time and the bill came out to be a few hundred dollars cheaper than what we were expecting. Based off this experience I would not hesitate to recommend or contact Hanna Plumbing & Heating to anyone or for future work.

I was reminded to write this review by virtue of the fact that I need a plumber agan and am not calling these guys, even though I can practically see their office from my house. Last time I had them out to fix a water heater problem, they had to make a trip across town to get parts, which they charged me for (i.e. charged me for the time as if the plumber was at my hosue). Then, when they discovered the part they replaced was not the cause of my problem, they made another trip across town for a different part and charged me for that trip, too. Since the wrong part was already installed, I had the option of paying him to remove the part and getting a refund for it, but the cost to have him remove it was almost the full value of the part. I simply cant afford what it costs to have Hanna Plumbing guess at how to fix things.

I am writing this review in order to acknowledge the service I received by Josh and Adam on October 22nd, 2015. Not only did they take their time to test and diagnose my furnace problem, they were fun to talk with, answered my questions, showed me how things work and explained it to me. I never got a feeling like I should leave them alone, and as a curious homeowner, I appreciated them going out of their way to make sure I understood how my furnace works. They have used a secure garage code to enter my home twice, and I have never hesitated, I trust them. The office staff has been pleasant, responsive and they do a good job of communicating to the field, and vice-versa. If you have always wanted a personal relationship with a plumber of HVAC company, you should call Hanna Plumbing and Heating.

What a difference a new furnace and air conditioner makes! Moved into a new house last year purchased on a short sale. Wonderful service and done in exactly the time they said it would take. Throughout the winter, didnt have to adjust the temperature one single time in the house and our 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 2800 square feet home had a $41 heating bill at the highest. Cant wait for summer! Service was excellent. Had complete trust and was not interested in doing it on the cheap...so worth every penny. Did we pay more than we could have? Sure...but Id rather pay once and have it done by people who know their stuff...than twice by the "dude with his own truck" who skimps on cheap materials and low cost no-name products. You get what you pay for.

Booked an appointment at $98 per hour two days previous after they were 30 minutes late I called and asked them where there plumber was. Sorry for the confusion youre appointment actually didnt make the books. I took a vacation day for them to come out there response nothing they can do accept re-book my appointment for 2 days later. There response was sorry its my fault but there is nothing we can do. I understand there are dropped balls but you own them and do everything in your power to fix the issues just not say your sorry. Sorry dont fix my water heater. Called Benjamin Franklin plumbing and they said they could be here in an hour.

Not only was the HANNA PLUMBING service tech knowledgeable he was also professional and friendly. Hanna Plumbing was professional, knowledgeable, and a fair price. Other plumbers wanted $150 for the trip fee. Hannah charged a flat fee per hour and no trip fees. The day before Christmas eve Hannah came out and was able to get parts before closing for the holiday. The plumber saw my water heater had a 6 year warranty so he took care of billing the manufacturer for parts. The plumber also gave us a Christmas discount. If you want excellent service at a fair price from a professional, then Hanna is the best choice for the Cedar Rapids/Marion area. Thanks Hanna!

We couldnt have asked for a better experience. We called Hanna after another company looked at our furnace and found "nothing wrong" despite it not functioning properly and emitting a strange smell. However, I wanted a second opinion and this second opinion literally saved our lives. We had carbon monoxide leaking into our home and the other company didnt catch that. Hanna did the diagnostic work and install. Every member of their staff we encountered was just fantastic. We will never do business with anyone else!

Hanna plumbing was my second call I made when I was stuck between a rock and hard spot at 12:30am with not many options, I had a broken water line! The first place I called, tried to totally take advantage of my situation. I saw Hanna offered 24hr service, so I called. Within 30 mins a very professional plumber was on site. He charged me a fraction of what the other company was going to charge. Thank you Hanna Plumbing and Heating for getting me out of a jam and charging me a fair price!

Asked for relocation of vent and shower plumbing to another wall. The service guy was nice enough, but pretty slow. When I am paying $98/hr for something, I expect not a lot of headscratching. The work was straight forward. I did all the attic work for him and relocated the vent, removed drywall, and the area below the shower was easily accessible (using my ladder). Just to get him out of there I did the clean up. Probably wont call them again for this type of work.

I called Hanna Plumbing & Heating out to my house to do a air test on my gas lines because there is an odor of natural gas in my house and MidAmerican wasnt able to find any leaks. Instead of doing a air test on the gas lines in my house, the plumber spent an hour trying to find a leak with his combustible gas leak detector and would not do the air test that I called him out to do. I cannot not recommend Hanna Plumbing & Heating to anybody.
