Our 4 year old water heater that we bought from a major retailer (complete with a 6 year warranty) died. We made an appt. for repair w/the major retailer, were told they couldnt get there before 5 DAYS (in Wisconsin...with snow on the ground...). Looked up water heater repair on Google, found Service First. After reading the posted reviews, I thought, since theyre local and I know one of the people who posted a review, I would see how soon they could come out. Not only was Jamie at our house in about an hour, he spent over an hour on the phone with the major retailer trying to get them to stand by their warranty and replace the very expensive part that had died. After an hour of being transferred from one dept. to another, Jamie remained polite and friendly to everyone he spoke to (which was more than I could have done!). Needless to say, we couldnt get the retailer to back up their warranty, and were forced to look at replacing the water heater altogether. Jamie offered a replacement at a VERY reasonable rate for the heater AND labor. I AM SO IMPRESSED with this guy! LADIES: he didnt try to rip me off because he was dealing with a woman. GUYS: he reduced his charges to off-set for the time he spent on the phone, which was really helpful. He also stayed from the 9:30am repair visit through 4:30pm for the replacement the same day. Altogether a VERY reliable, honest, hard-working guy who believes that his company should offer the very best customer service they can. I can tell you, that is exactly what I got for my service call. I would HIGHLY recommend Jamie/Service First to anyone looking for plumbing help/repair.

I had a plumbing emergency late Thursday afternoon. Sewage was backing up into my basement. I called Service First. Jamie answered and was to my house within thirty minutes. Im a new home-owner so it was helpful that before the phone conversation was over, he reminded me not to use any plumbing- toilets, sinks- until he got there. Maybe obvious, but it wasnt something I would have thought of. From the moment we spoke on the phone to him cleaning up after he successfully fixed the problem, he was friendly, professional and even took the time to explain what happened, how to prevent it from happening and talked me through what he was doing. As a new homeowner, I really appreciated his patience and attention to detail. I will definitely use Service First again and recommend Jamie for all plumbing needs. Nothing but the best from him and this company. Again, thank you so much for coming out so quickly and helping me during my first emergency as a homeowner.

Jamie and his apprentice did a very good job. On his first visit Jamie helped find our water shut off and took a look at the issue we had with our sink leaking and gave us a fair estimate. Jamie scheduled the work to be done within a few days by his apprentice who helped us keep the bill low and did an exceptional job quickly. He allowed us to have a faucet that we purchased elsewhere which was very similar to the faucet they wouldve installed at a slightly higher price. Along with that he allowed us to run to the store to grab a part that he needed since our sink didnt have the overflow hole which the faucet we purchased was made for. Overall, I am very pleased with the price I paid and the work along with the service that Servicd First provided. This was my first time dealing with a plumber, and I know that Ill be able to count on Service First for future issues.

We had a slow leak in our kitchen sink after having a friend of the family install our garbage disposal. For 2 years it wasnt a big deal until last weekend, when we discovered the bucket we kept under the sink was overflowing and our slow drip was no longer such, but now a gush! We called Service First on Sunday afternoon...we discovered we could go one more day without using our sink to avoid an emergency plumber fee, but we made an appointment for the next day at noon and it was great! He came on time and fixed everything in under two hours, taking our disposal apart and showing us what the problem was (a piece was installed upside down) and repairing cracked parts as a result. He was kind, honest and personable as well. We totally recommend Service First to our friends and family and will be calling them first if we are in need of such services in the future!

Service first plumbing is one of the best small businesses Ive had the pleasure of having do work in my home... being in a bind an needing a plumber asap to replace a main gate valve to a diff one, in order to get our water turned back on an in workin order.. Jamie one of the main guys was very professional and kind, also after calling 6 or 7 different places i found online an striking out even after explaining the urgent situation, he was the only one who seemed concerned for me an my family an wanted to come help asap! and he did, after finishing up the job he was on he hurried right over an replaced the vaulve in no time at all.. they are hard working, trustworthy, compassionate, kind and caring ppl.. I wouldnt have wanted to deal with anyone else... if a loved one or i ever need a plumber in the future Service First will be my first call...

I reached out to Jamie on Monday night as the faucet broke in my kitchen. Within an hour he had already reached out to say he could be with me at 9:30 the next morning! He worked with me on my very specific request for a replacement, and offered to contact me from the supply store at 7am to confirm he got exactly what I needed. He picked it up, got to my house at 9:30 - and by 10am he was done! I couldnt be there while he was working, but he even text me a picture of the replacement when it was installed! Ive used several plumbers in the nearly ten years Ive lived in Eau Claire, and can honestly say I have never worked with anyone who was so focused on service and quick turnaround as Jamie. I will be using him for ALL my plumbing needs moving forward and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone else who needs a great plumber!

We had water leaking through the basement ceiling and we assumed because of the leak location that the first floor toilet was leaking. Because of some stripped bolts, I was unable to remove the toilet to check for a leak. We called Jamie from Service First and even though it was after hours he came over to our house quickly and after checking out the situation he determined that the water was coming from a leak on our roof by the bathroom vent pipe and not from the toilet. Jamie also replaced the stripped bolts on the toilet, the wax ring because it was in poor shape and some of the toilet tank components that were in bad shape. Jamie was friendly and professional and provided great service at a very reasonable price, we will definitely call Service First for any plumbing needs in the future.

We could not be more grateful to Jamie at Service First Plumbing. The first night we were in our new home, we had sewage back up into a shower. After talking to Jamie over the phone, he did not hesitate to come over to check out the problem. We were so lucky because the whole finished basement could have flooded if Jamie had not been gracious enough to come over late on a Thursday night. Jamie was courteous, personable, efficient, empathetic, and cleaned up after himself. After two full days of moving, trying to get our two young kids settled, and then to have this sewage situation happen, it was quite a nightmare. However, Jamie explained everything so well and even had us laughing about the situation at the end of the visit. We are so happy that we called Service First Plumbing!!!!
