The first time I went here I got my nails done by Emmy and she did an AMAZING job. I honestly dont plan on going anywhere else to get my nails done. It was typical nail salon prices, maybe on the higher end, but it is honestly worth it because Emmy is SO nice and does such a good job. In your first visit to the salon you get coupons off future services, which is nice and also the reason I decided to go back and get my hair done here. I went to a nice girl who did a wonderful job, but the place she was cutting my hair was very awkward. It was literally 3 feet from the door and one foot from the register. I felt like everyone coming and going was staring at me. And the price listed online says hair cuts are 35+ and they mean PLUS. I had a 10 off coupon and a coupon for a free brow waxing and it came to $57!! And I obviously had to leave a tip. Im sorry, but that is a lot for a college student and I even used a freaking $10 coupon. The lady also didnt do anything fancy to my hair. She washed, cut, and barely blew out my hair. Im sorry, but I am not going back to get my hair done there. If you can afford a nearly $70 (plus a hefty tip!) cut then go for it! But I know there are TONS of other places in Des Moines you can go and get the same quality hairstyle for 30 bucks...

I got my hair cut by Laura and she did an AMAZING job. Im super picky and am the type of client who brings in pictures and is quiet and watches the stylist while theyre working. Ive had the same beckham style bob for several years and am very particular on how its cut/styled. The previous person who cut my hair added some funky layers that are not growing out well. Laura did a great job showing me a way to style my hair, with very minimal effort on my part, to help it look the way I like while the layers grow out. Laura did an superb job in getting my blowout bob to look just the way I like it. Ive consistently been able to get the same result at home. VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!

Terrible. I googled nicest salon in Des Moines and this salon came up. ITS NOT. Scheduled for high lite touch up and trim. Two different people doing each. Highlite first. They are super brassy uneven and chunky and dont go to my scalp. When hair still wet I was taken to another person to cut it. Color not even checked. No one talked to me or even tried to make conversation. I felt like an inconvenience and couldnt wait to get out of there. My hair looks worse than before the service. Now I get to go spend more money somewhere else to fix this hair.

I moved to WDM in February and ive been to several salons in the area but none like the experience I had at Estilo. I get my hair highlighted every 8 weeks and havent been to the same salon twice since I moved because of bad experiences. Last Friday I went to Alison for a highlight lowlight. I gave her the picture of what I wanted and she matched it to a T. I made a second apointment before I left. I highly recommend her!! Very impressed with my hair color.

I got my hair cut, colored and styled by the same person 3 times, on the 4th time she didnt listen to what I asked for and subsequently gave me the worst haircut of my life. I called the salon back after I left and the person on the phone said she was going to talk to her manager and call me back, she never called. When I followed up, she said she didnt remember me. I will not be going back.

I only went here because my friend referred me to a girl named Lejla. I just want to say she is the friendliest person Ive met and does an amazing job. I absolutely loved / love my hair. After going to Bella salon twice for highlights they couldnt get my color the way I wanted it but Lejla did it on my first visit. Best stylist ever. Will definitely be going back only to Lejla.

The ladies here are ever so friendly! When you want professional service and the outcome to be exactly what you want every time, Estilo is the place. I fully trust them and am a committed customer. Karinas expertise with hair and color definitely proves itself. Ive never recieved so many compliments on the colors used on my hair. Very much recommend her and the team at Estilo!

Absolutely the most amazing salon for lash extensions. Laurie is very talented and they have reasonable prices. The lashes they use are light and natural, they are very knowledgeable about the process and are always properly applied, one extension per lash. Absolutely the best quality and service around. They cannot be beat for lash extensions. Highly recommend.

Amazing. Perfect. Consistent. I have had hair cuts, foot massage, regular massage, facials, pedicures, and highlighting done here and its fabulous. I love their package deals for valentines or Mothers Day. Booking online is so incredible and I love it. And they are at a great location and the staff is fabulous! I highly recommend this place!!!!

Excellent work done here- my favorite nail expert Brie did my pedicure yesterday felt so pampered. Did the pedicure with my teenage niece and she LOVED it (she was used to all the mini mall pedicures). Toes look terrific and they did need work! Now, need to book a hair appointment with my stylist there- its been awhile. Great place!!

This place is great! I am fairly new to the area and I had been looking for a salon where I wouldnt get butchered but I wouldnt break the bank; I found it! They have a price list on-line and they stayed pretty true to their prices. I had excellent service and I do not have to feel guilty for pampering myself a little bit.

Im new to the area & am always hesitant about trying a new salon/stylist, but saw some good reviews on here & Im pleased to say that I am very happy with both my cut & highlights by Allison. She listened to what I wanted/didnt want & even offered some great suggestions about my hair/style. I would highly recommend her!

Everyone is really nice and the salon is always clean! Pricing is reasonable and I love the salon layout. The ladies that work there always do a great job with my hair and help me with products to keep it protected. Hailee Griffin is a great hair stylist!

Way too much money for a Great Clips haircut. Dont go there if youre a guy, I guess. Im not the best at explaining what I want but it felt like I was completely ignored. It was way too late by the time I noticed it was completely wrong. Bummer, dude.

WAY OVER PRICED! Had a mani & pedi and within a week I needed a REAL pedi! Very cosmetic and that part isnt worth the price. I would not go back...for $70 you should get at least bottled water & not tap water....bad experience!
