They deserve a zero, or minus zero! Scheduled an appointment with this company, date, time de-conflicted with our schedules by canceling appointments and taking time off work to accommodate their stated appointment. On day of appointment called 2 hours and 40 minutes into stated window for appointment to check on estimated arrival time, I was told: 1. I didnt have appointment on this date or time. 2. I was told my appointment was a week away at a COMPLETELY different hour of the day. 3. I was told on multiple occasions they were right, because they wrote it on their paper and I was incorrect. I guess writing it on our schedule as we spoke couldnt make it right, only writing on THEIR schedule will. 4. No apology was given until I spoke with a manager and pointed out their lack of accepting ANY form of responsibility for possibly stating to us the appointment time incorrectly, or writing it down incorrectly in their books. Throughout this conversation with an employee and a manager I was told repeatedly "our paper was written on x date, there have been no calls for a schedule change, and this is your appointment." Though a half hearted apology was eventually given, absolutely no responsibility was accepted on their part. 5. They made no effort to work with me, the customer or to make anything right. I was simple told sorry you made a mistake and their paperwork was absolutely correct. I am very certain we had time and date correct as we were told by their employee. Many adjustments had to be made on our schedule to accommodate this appointment. These adjust were taken into consideration as we booked said appointment. However, I was willing to accept maybe we had a misunderstanding on the date but there is no way we had the wrong date AND time. Neither the Ameripure scheduling person or their manager Ashley were willing to accept any responsibility for the scheduling issue on their part. Unless you wish to waste your time waiting on service persons who dont show and a company who doesnt care enough to keep your business when a mistake, error or misunderstanding occurs, dont bother using this company. Addendum: true story, just cant make this stuff up. On the day this company no showed for their schedule appointment I canceled the appointment they had incorrectly scheduled for us on the following week. I told Ricky I was making note of this cancellation. Three days later I get a call from Ricky telling me they had an earlier opening and could get me in today, Really? My appointment for the next week was CANCLED! When I advised him I had CANCLED the said appointment for next week three days ago, all he could do was stutter and then apologize stating he would assure it was cancled. This company is a mess at least their phone scheduling department. First impressions are lasting impressions and they certainly made a bad impression with this customer! I am certain after our experience and reading the reviews their no show was a blessing in disguise, hate to have seen what the service would have been, scary thought!

APW as a whole, is a complete joke. We bought a house with an Ionics whole house water system. APW was the company used by the previous owner. For the last 3.5 years we have searched high and low for a different company with no luck. Every time APW comes out to our house they have to return to fix what they messed up. From breaking parts of the system to water leaks. Then they try to send us a bill for the return trip fixing their mess! The picture I posted was from a giant flood from a part their technician over tightened and eventually broke causing this mess. Found out from one of the guys that was here to fix issues... she does not hire plumbers for their water system service, they hire anyone willing to work and put up with their treatment. We have never seen the same guy twice! Dixie will not respond to emails, letters and calls and only the clueless, rude and obstinate office staff will speak to us with no resolve. During the flood several items were damaged and cost me an additional $500.00 to replace, APW doesnt want to talk. We even tracked them down at the last Overland Park home show... other than an empty booth and the one guy sitting there that did not want to talk because he was playing games on his phone! He did say Dixie was supposed to be there but he said she decided she didnt need to be there??? If you were smart you would use anyone else to do whatever you need done. Looking to have anyone else work on this system and continue the warranty.... APW is a JOKE! Addition to original post: After reading some of the comments on here I remembered a couple of items that I pointed out to not only the staff that could not seem to get anything right but to dixie, the one time I got her on the phone early on, that is every time they are out to our house they continue to try and sell us something. The service call is never good enough. So any time they come to your house watch this.... it seems to be the first priority. They have never accepted any responsibility for all of the times they have screwed up but the next service guy in wants to tell me all of the bad things the last guy in did.

After contacting my home warranty company to have the gas line for my clothes dryer replaced I was put in touch with this company. Their tech was super helpful and nice. They came out on a Tuesday and looked at it then said that they couldnt fix it that day and had to come back on Thursday. Thursday comes and the tech fixes the gas line but does not reconnect the hot water heater. I called back the next day after my first of what would be 5 days worth of cold showers that my family had to put up with. The lady offered an afternoon appointment which I declined as we were going on a short day trip as a family, I asked if someone could come out on Saturday to fix it and was sternly told that I would have to wait until Tuesday. Companies that care about truly serving their customers would have done whatever it takes to have it fixed on Saturday. Begrudgingly I agree to Tuesday, cold showers ensue, and Monday comes and no confirmation call, when we contacted them to make sure that the appointment was scheduled we were told that someone already called us. Communication is horrible with this company, today comes and I am supposed to meet the tech at my house between 3 and 4pm, at 1:30pm I get a call saying that he just left my house, big problem here is that my kids are home for the summer and as a precaution we wanted an adult home when they arrived. No courtesy call to say we are on the way, or can you come meet earlier, nope just a stranger in my house with my kids during the summer, fan freaking tastic! I called to voice my concern and I was given a diatribe about how they strive to make each customer happy and satisfy them which I would have believed if they would have, you know, fixed the problem they caused on Saturday instead of Tuesday. I will only use this company again if my home warranty company makes me, otherwise I will avoid them like the plague.
