Ive taken my car to BK for a few different issues. Heres whats happened so far. The first time was a code because my CO2 sensors went bad. I told BK I couldnt afford the official BMW parts, so he gave me two other options. One was a part made for my car, but still pretty expensive, the second was a completely different sensor, but hed have to splice some wires or whatnot. I went with the first option. The car ran perfect. The second problem was with the power steering in my car (a common issue, apparently). BK tested and found the issue, replaced the hose and it ran great again for a few weeks. Then it broke again. I took it back to BK and he told me the power steering pump had failed. But while he was researching prices for me he found the warranty had been extended. He checked my car and found that the vehicle qualified. He called the people at Baron BMW and made me an appointment. They replaced the pump for free. BK is a good mechanic. More importantly, hes trustworthy. He didnt charge me a dime and he did what was best for me, his customer. As long as BK is in business and Im in KC he can count on me as a customer. Thanks BK.

My friend popped his tire in Westport one night. All the Autoshops in the area close at around 5-6 pm. It was almost 6:00 pm by the time I got down there to help him out. I drove him here so we could get a tire. However, we didnt think to bring the tire with us, so they had no way of knowing for sure which size and type to give us. For our safety, the owner wasnt about to sell us a tire that wasnt 100% guaranteed to work. They were ready to close, but the owner decided to stay behind for 20-30 minutes so that we could go fetch the tire and bring it back. It took us about that long to drive back to my friends car, get the tire off, and return with it so that they could replace or repair it. The owner was a busy guy and had other things he needed to attend to after work, yet he stayed behind with one of his employees so that my friend could go home that night (other people needed that car the next morning as well). They were able to repair the tire in less than 2 minutes. What they did for us that night speaks volumes about their integrity, and I cant recommend a business more than this place. If you need a car job done in this area, these are your guys.

Let me start by saying, I really dont know much about cars. So when my Jeep decided to get weird on me, it was like being thrown into foreign territory. I had no clue what the issue was or even quite how to describe it. Not to mention, as a car-dummy, going in for repairs gives me the creeps because I dont want to get fed over... $$. My boyfriend went to Auto Werks for an oil change recently and immediately suggested I go there for my problem. BEST suggestion ever! BK, the owner, was super nice and very patient. He took the time to explain the problem to me in terms that I could understand. Additionally, without needing to be asked, he made sure to break down every part of the bill and why it was needed. I dropped my car off on a Saturday- without calling ahead- and got it back by Tuesday (they are closed on Sunday). A long story to basically say this: Great experience, highly recommend!

Like everyone else has said, this place is great- fast service, really honest, and very nice people. Dont go in expecting a slick chain-store experience, the waiting area is comfortable but not fancy... I always think thats reassuring though, since you know that they arent charging you more money to pay for a flat-screen tv and leather chairs. I was in and out in an hour and 15 minutes, and even though they needed to replace a component of my ripped-out stereo, they were able to go pick one up immediately and complete the repair. I also asked them to change my oil as an afterthought, and one person did that while the other fixed the stereo, which saved me a ton of time. Based on this experience, I would recommend this place to anyone-- youll be supporting local business, and youll get better and more honest service than you ever would at a chain store.

I took my vehicle to be looked at by BK and his team at Auto Werks after being told by a national chain auto repair shop that I needed roughly $1700 in repair work done ASAP. They made arrangements to get my vehicle in almost immediately, and were quick to point out that the other shop was trying to get me to replace parts that were in fine working order. The work was completed in a very short amount of time, and with great attention to detail. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised when the final tally came up WELL SHORT of what I was being quoted by "the other guys". I wont hesitate to utilize Auto Werks for all of my future auto-related needs, and you shouldnt either. You wont be disappointed.

I love going to AutoWerks. BK and his crew will get you in for same day or next day service. The pricing is definitely fair and affordable. One of my favorite aspects of their service is that BK will actually show you the parts that need to be replaced and explain why they do need to be replaced. I feel comfortable with his opinion and explanation. It makes me feel comfortable with the service I receive and pay for. BK will let you know of other things you could fix or service on your car, but does not make you feel pressured to carry through with those services right then. I strongly recommend Auto Werks.

Great body shop! I had a big scratch on the door of my Challenger that I wanted to get fixed, but I was wary of having the entire side of the car repainted -- sometimes you can still tell that some paint work was done in that area. However, Brian and his guys did a ~fantastic~ job on it. Its been a few weeks now and I still havent been able to find any noticeable marks that would indicate the door was repainted. Its basically as if it never happened. On top of the awesome body work, they even gave the inside of my car a much-needed cleaning :), free of charge and without even asking!

I bought an older (2007) BMW 328xi, knowing I would need to find someone who knew exactly what they were doing and that I could trust. I am SO glad I found this place. BK is the real deal. The work I needed wasnt cheap--I knew it wouldnt be--but I am confident he will be honest, fair, and knowledgeable. He came recommended by another customer of his, and I know he was able to save him money without unnecessary repairs. My bimmer will be making regular visits (I think of it as a regular doctors checkup) and I trust him to help me keep it on the road for a very long time. Thanks Brian!
