I hired Apartment Movers to help us load only our larger furniture before a cross country move. I was told they would arrive between 10 am and noon and they would call when they were on their way. At 11:50 am I called and was told they were running late and it would be around 1:30 pm. Thats fine - weve moved a lot and I know how the schedule goes. But the fact that I had to call to find out myself isnt professional. The crew showed up a little before 1 pm and got to work right away. Since I had new carpet in the basement I asked them to wear shoe covers or take their shoes off which was met with attitude and eye rolling. They did comply after I insisted. I was told later that they have carpet protectors available but they didnt have any on the truck if the customer doesnt request them. Put them on the truck, have them available and offer to use them. Save everyone the aggravation. It was a hot day and one of the gentlemen sounded like he was going to have a medical emergency in my home. Wheezing, pale, sweating profusely. I was concerned for his safety. Thinking they were professional movers and knew what they were doing my husband and I got back to work getting ready for our move. Unfortunately, when we saw how they loaded the truck we saw that that was a mistake. We had a 26 foot truck which was 1/4 loaded when they started. They took up 3/4 of the truck with the furniture (couch, love seat, king/queen/full/2 twin beds), armoire, dining table. They just placed it in the truck. Didnt attempt to stack anything to leave more room for the rest of our items that werent loaded. So we spent 1 1/2 hours after they left re-arranging and re-loading the items. They started at 1 pm and were in their truck ready to leave at 2 pm yet I was charged for 1.25 hours of labor plus $50 travel time. If it wouldve been done correctly I wouldnt have a problem but since it cost us time we didnt have to correct the poor work it doesnt seem right. They also damaged the drywall in my living room. I called the office later in the afternoon and got more bad attitude. I was told that a poorly loaded truck was a "matter of opinion." Yes, I am the customer. My opinion matters the most.

Worst moving experience ever! They came to help me move 6 things from my apartment and complained that I was making their lives difficult living on the top floor ... I was told $150 and then when all was over the guy told me it would be 200 because they got lost and couldnt find my apartment but still charged me for them getting lost ... and I told them I had to go to an ATM to grab the rest their boss told them " Dont let that boy out of your sight" so they followed me clear across town for $20 not to mention their personal hygiene was horrible !

These guys are good! One of the owners took my original call and on the move one of the owners was there all the time. They watched over everything during the move. This was a big move (my wife and kids have lots of stuff). They took it to our new home here in Oklahoma! I hope to move back to Wichita soon and I will use them again!

I contacted Wichita Moving and Storage after having an unprofessional experience with another company. Jim was extremely pleasant to deal with and provided excellent customer service and was very responsive. I will use Wichita Moving and Storage for all my future moves and will be recommending him to others.

I received fabulous service from Tim and Jason! They arrived ahead of time and got right to work. They both were so professional and courteous. They treated my furniture with great care and didnt knick any walls as they took the furniture from the house to the truck. I highly recommend Apartment Movers!

I was told my movers would be out between 12-3 pm. I called at 3:10 because I hadnt heard from them and was told they wont be out today. This is the most unprofessional experience Ive ever dealt with. I should have received a call or something to cancel.
