I was very wary at first because I had gotten the information for these guys in a bag on my doorknob. A leak had developed in my kitchen ceiling a while later, and as I was agonizing over how I was going to come up with the money to re-roof my house, I remembered the materials and decided to give it a go. A couple of days after I had called, Mark, a project manager from the company, contacted me to schedule a time to come and look my roof over. I work 12-hour night shifts at a hospital, so my schedule is kind of wonky, but he could work around it and came on out. He told me that my insurance would most likely cover the damaged roof replacement and all I would have to worry about was the deductible! I was relieved. Together, we contacted my insurance company, Mark was there a few days later with my adjuster to do a walk-through (I didnt even have to get up in the middle of sleeping!), and my adjuster said the roof would be covered! Due to inclement weather, scheduling took a little while, but Brad kept up with me about when we might be able to fit my roof in. Then, when the time came, there was a light drizzle off and on. However, they sent about 7 or 8 guys out to get the job done! Within 4-5 hours, my house was re-roofed! Thanks to my being able to shift some of our available resources, I was even able to upgrade from the older-style 3-tab shingles to the more durable dimensional shingles with no additional cost! Crisis averted, all thanks to Lexington Blue! You guys rock!

First called the first week of July to set up an appointment. After repeated phone calls on our end, we were told we fell through their cracks. On July 20, we paid a $500 deposit and were told someone would come within a week to measure and wed have our window in 4-5 weeks. 5 weeks later, after we fell through their cracks again, someone came to measure. We were told the window would be here 2 weeks later. Here we are 4 weeks after that, which is 11 weeks after we initially contacted them and have fallen through what appears to be a whole lotta cracks in their process. I have made three phone calls and was promised twice that someone would call me back (the other voice-mail was left unreturned). The last call was yesterday (9/20), and the new production manager, or whoever, was supposed to call us back last night. You can probably guess from my response that our return call never took place. Your company has promised us a refund....without ever trying to make the job right. We ordered a window, paid a deposit, waited and waited and called, have had it measured, and have been waiting for this window so we can continue our kitchen redo on that wall. Id rather you not walk away from the job, but just come finish it this week with a discount (and maybe an ice cream cake that says sorry we sucked on it or something). Otherwise, you are leaving us to start from scratch.

I had some damage to my roof resulting from a storm. Daniel came out and inspected the roof for further damage, and advised me on the process for getting the roof replaced by my insurance company. The process was fairly straightforward, and being impressed with the companys professionalism to that point, I decided to go with them. On installation day, I received texts from Tevis on the crews progress, as well as texts about any issues that may have cropped up during the day. I even asked if they would look at my gutters for a small drip Ive been having, and they did that as well. I wasnt expecting that level of updates during the day, but it was certainly welcomed. I did the walk-around the same day when I got home, and didnt notice any problems with the new roof. However, a few days later I noticed a minor issue with a splash guard on the roof, and notified Tevis. He alerted his service manager who arranged someone to come fix. The communication about the fix was a bit lacking, but I understand it was during a sunny stretch of weather, so they were more than likely super busy. They came and fixed on a marginal weather day, and it looks great now. I havent had any concerns with the roof, it looks great, and I would highly recommend Lexington Blue for a roof installation.

Never imagined replacing a roof would be such a great customer service experience. As a homeowner I have never had to replace or have my roof serviced, but because of Strongs storms coming through and damaging our roof we were asked by our insurance to contact two or more roofing companies for quotes. Knowing nothing about any local roofing companies I went by previous reviews and after meeting with Kith in our home to discuss product, process etc... I knew I was going with Lexington Blue. From there the process was extremely impressive, follow-up calls to let me know we were on the schedule, then Melissa literally went out of her way to accommodate my schedule and to top it off, the day of the install Tevis did a phenomena job keeping me in the loop with timely text updates as well as photos of the progress. The install crew were all professional and courteous. Lexington Blue deserves more than Five Stars... J. Floyd

Earlier this evening Keith from Lexington Blue came out to take a look at my roof. I had a small water spot in my living room ceiling and was worried there was some roof damage. Keith examined the roof and let me know there was no actual damage to the roof. He explained what the issue was that caused the leak and how it could be fixed. Even offered to write up a statement explaining that no there is no damage to the roof, something that is very helpful as my wife and I are listing our house to sell and wanted proof that the roof had been looked at and is in good condition. Its pretty rare anymore that you find a company you can trust and one that offers outstanding customer service. No question that Lexington Blue will be the first company we call for any future roofing issues we may have and the first well recommend to any of our friends and family.

Lexington Blue is a first class company with great people. Had wind damage to my roof and Daniel Gardner made the whole process of inspection, meeting with my insurance appraiser and getting the order in for a full roof replacement a painless process. Melissa stopped by to make sure I was happy with my choice of color for my shingles which was great since I did change my mind for a lighter color. David from the office kept me updated on the schedule. Mark McKnight and the crew came by on Memorial Day morning and got the job done by 2:30pm. Mark was excellent in sending updates and pictures as the work progressed which exceeded my expectation in terms of keeping a customer informed! I would highly recommend LexingtonBlue to anyone looking for a good honest roofing contractor. To top it all off, my insurance company paid for the roof!

With all the snow and ice this year, we ended up with a nasty leak and went searching online for a few reputable contractors to figure out what was going on with our roof and get quotes. Lexington Blue was the second professional we contacted through Thumbtack. He came out as scheduled the next day, inspected the leak and performed a temporary repair for us at no charge. He then proceeded to offer a series of solutions and answered all of our questions. Within 4 hours of leaving, the quote we requested was delivered via email. We accepted the offer and two days later, he and his staff were on-site as promised. The roofing portion of the project was finished within 1 day and the interior was finished the following day and looks great. We highly recommend this company to all Wilmore and Nicholasville residents!
