Dont expect much if you are seeking laptop diagnosis/repair. Ive used them twice, with significantly different results. Experience #1: Laptop with loose AC connector. The laptop was repaired satisfactorily in 3 days for a reasonable charge. Straightforward problem, no diagnosis required. Experience #2: Wife spilled water on laptop and it would no longer boot. I removed the hard drive since the laptop was not recognizing it. I asked IGLOU to diagnose whether the hard drive controller was fried, or just a bad hard drive (I assumed they would plug in a spare hard drive and test). They kept the laptop for 3 days and then said they would not open it up unless I bought a new hard drive from them. If the hard drive controller was fried, I would be out the cost of the hard drive + the repair fee. This "repair shop" apparently has no spare hard drives for testing. To their credit, they waived the $20 diagnostic fee when I retrieved the laptop. I ended up buying a new hard drive from NewEgg and installing it myself; luckily, the hard drive controller was OK and my laptop is revived, no thanks to IGLOU.

Over the years, I have used a couple of different internet and cable providers, always changing because I was never happy with the service I was getting. Although Ive only been a customer of IgLous for a few months, I have yet to have a single problem. I even wrote an e-mail to the installation supervisor detailing how appreciative I was of the installer who came out to my location to start my service. He was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Additionally, their customer service is fantastic! When getting set up to start my service or when calling with a question, I frequently speak to the same person who seems to recognize my name and account info, which is unheard of with most companies these days, especially cable and internet providers. All in all, IgLou is a great company and I recommend them to anyone looking for a great connection and even better customer service!

I switched from ATT to Iglou internet service. ATT was faster than Iglou. I had to increase speeds with Iglou 3 times to be able to watch videos or use internet without lagging. The ATT person installing my internet questioned me why I would be switching from faster service to a lower grade service. I didnt believe him until I saw what he said is true. ATT does have faster internet. Iglou may be cheaper but when you have to increase raising the price back up to close to what was paid with ATT and still have at times problems, is it really worth switching? I switched to save money. Well aggravation at times of lagging service has made me question this switch. Looking back, I would have just stayed with ATT. To me it wasnt worth the switch.

I have always had a great experience with Iglou and I have been with them for 8 months. The prices are reasonable and I would recommend them to others. Their internet is fast and they have great customer service. One time the internet was out, but with a quick call, it was up and working perfectly again. Besides that, Ive never been without internet or had any issues. For reference I have a 1 bedroom apartment and we use 2 computers at once plus Netflix on the TV. After they came out to install the modem, router, etc, they gave me a follow-up call the same day to make sure it was working properly. Try them out!

Iglou was once a very good ISP but in 2011 they cant keep up with Insight. I had service from them in 90s when dial up was the only game and it was fine for the time. This past year I subscribed to their DSL service and it was disappointing. Speeds were never as advertised and web surfing was difficult at times to be nice. Their tech support is very limited and hard to reach most of the time. Their equipment is just not capable of handling very much traffic. For the price it just isnt worth it. I cant see using them unless you only have access to dial up where you live.

Internet service is fast and reliable. Never lags, never goes out. Ive had them now for 5 months. My only initial concern was customer service not being available over the weekend, but I havent had any issues come up as yet. Whenever I do need to contact them, answers are always prompt and thorough. They do not run a lot of promotions. I was disappointed to miss out on the only one that Ive actually seen promoted, due to my join date.However,Im still very pleased with the service.

After having a TERRIBLE experience with another provider and trying to get wifi service at my house for over 6 days (unsuccessfully and not cheaply), I called IGLOU and they had everything taken care of within days. STRESS FREE and cheaper! Their customer service was excellent and I have never had any issue with billing or service. We are moving soon and they have already spoken with me about how to make that a smooth transition. I am a happy and will be a long time customer!

I am still waiting for a response from the #1 Internet provider in Kentucky. I could not believe that technical support is only available between 9-5:30 pm, the time when most people get off work. I sent a work order request, left a phone message, and the next day I finally received a live voice response to walk me through the issues that I am having. He said that he would check with the tech staff and get back to me. I am still waiting.....

Changing service providers can always be a difficult, but when we switched from Time Warner Cable to IgLou, not only did we save a lot of money, the installation and service has been better than we ever experienced with Time Warner. So glad we cut the cord with cable and moved to IgLou.
