Small problems do get to you when they happen again and again and keep being unresolved. I got my brand-new Prius 2012 car at Oxmoor Toyota dealership in 8/2012. Wonderfully quiet car! My car got hit by another car on 11/12/2012, and the front of my car got damaged but other than that the car sounds the same as before, so I brought it to Oxmoor Collision Center to be fixed. I got the car back from Oxmoor Collision Center a couple of weeks later (1) and was told that everything was fixed and now perfect (including the installation of a new windshield). Then drove home and I heard loud wind sounds coming from windshield area everytime accelerating over 45 mph. Was so saddened (my extremely quiet car!), so I (2) brought it back to Oxmoor Collision Center to have them check it out, and it seemed the windshield installation had been improperly done and needed redoing. Then, I was informed that the issue was now fixed, and 2 technicians did the test-drive and concluded that the car was good to go. I went to pick it up, and wind sounds were slightly less but STILL THERE when accelerating over 50 mph. (3) Brought it back to Oxmoor Collision Center, asking politely for the car to be checked again. Then a few days later, I was informed that the car had been fixed and test-driven by technicians and the estimator and ready to be picked up. I went to pick up the car, and the sounds were still there. (4) Brought it back again. Then when fixed (AGAIN), now there are BOTH ENGINE NOISES AND WIND SOUNDS. This time, as there are engine noises involved, I set an appointment with the dealership (Oxmoor Toyota) and brought the car there for inspection. They checked the car and told me the winshield installation had been done IMPROPERLY, and advised I need to bring my car back to wherever I had it installed, before they can check out any engine-related noises. (5) I brought it back to Oxmoor Collision Center, told them what Oxmoor Toyota dealership said. Then the staff at Collision Center told me he will have it investigated and fixed again once and for all this time. Got a call from him a couple of days later, letting me know now everything is finally fixed, and test-driven by 3 technicians & the manager and guaranteed to be good, and I should come and get my car. I was also told that something in the car fender were causing the noises, and it is now corrected, so no noises anymore. So, I came to pick it up today, and AFTER TURNING THE CAR ON AND PRESSING THE GAS PEDAL to drive, THERE WERE MUCH LOUDER ENGINE/ACCELERATING NOISES THAN PREVIOUS TIMES, LASTING THE ENTIRE 20-MINUTE DRIVING AT 25-30 MPH. My car now sounds like some 15-year-old USED CAR based on the engine noises. Can’t test drive to see if wind sounds are still there or not, due to traffice jam. (6) I turned around and drove back to the Collision Center and gave back the staff my car. The estimator handling my car had gone home earlier. Now I am using a rental car while waiting for them to get in touch with me tomorrow to discuss my car further. I has put in a suggestion note for the technician to please test-drive a BRAND NEW Prius 2012 and compare that to my 5-MONTH-OLD car to get a feel of the difference between the noise level of the 2 cars, then investigate from there. Do you think I have any luck at getting this resolved and my car fixed? So exhausted and disappointed. So much money and time and gas wasted driving back and forth and back and forth, and nothing got solved.

This place is literally the worst business I have ever dealt with in my 37 years on planet Earth. I dont mean the worst collision center...I mean the worst business, period. This is not a statement I make lightly as a business owner myself, but my experience was so bad, I would like to take some time out of my day to tell others about it and hopefully save someone else the headache. First of all my car gets dropped off on October 15th with some front end damage. Estimate was about $4500 when my insurance adjuster was there. When he left that doubled to about $9,000 and 60 hours. OK...maybe they found some stuff once they started working on the car. Told me it would be ready in about 2 weeks. A month went by and I had heard from no one so I finally emailed because my own insurance company finally stopped paying for a rental car. No one responded to the email. Called the next day. No response. Called again the day after that and was put on the phone with some kind of manager who I asked to assure me that someone would get back to me. NO RESPONSE. I finally had to call and yell at the poor receptionist that i wasnt getting off the phone until someone told me something about my car. Finally i get someone on the phone and they tell me it will be a couple more weeks on the car. I was pretty furious but they offered me a crappy loaner car until mine was ready so that eased the sting a little bit as I didnt have to pay for my own rental car while they continued to not fix my vehicle. Two weeks later I emailed back to see if my car was ready. Keep in mind, during this 6 weeks, not one person from the business reached out to let me know anything. Guess what? No response to my email. Called and left a voicemail. No response. Finally i get a call back saying my car will be ready...in a couple of weeks. This charade goes on and on, excuse after excuse. Finally after NINE WEEKS my car is ready to pick up. I go to drive it home and in the parking lot...it wont accelerate. They never even test drove my car. Took it to the dealer to find out what was wrong and it had no transmission fluid. OCC did pick up the tab on the transmission fix...thanks guys for not making me pay for your incompetence myself. Really appreciate that. Bottom line...if your car needs work I would recommend spending the nine weeks to become a mechanic and giving it a go yourself before dropping it off at Oxmoor collision center. At least you will know the progress on the car if you are doing it yourself. Maybe take it to taco bell and ask if anyone there knows anything about cars. If so, they would probably at least know that the car needs transmission fluid to run properly. Either of these would be a better use of your time than spending nine weeks in the black hole of customer service that is Oxmoor collision center. Seriously, look elsewhere. This place needs to get their act together, luckily for them I guess a collision center can survive without repeat customers.

Extremely POOR EXPERIENCE! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! The Basics: My vehicle spent 3 weeks sitting at their collision center without having any repairs started. I was lied to for two days stating that the repairs had begun and then decided to see for myself. The only information I received was secondary to my own persistent inquiry. I called 2-3 x per week and then showed up unexpected to investigate. On arrival my vehicle took time to locate per the estimator. Once located, she stated she could get my things for me, however, I asked to do so myself only to find no work had been completed as I had previously been told. The Detail: The estimate was prepared within 4 days. My insurance adjuster came the next day after the estimate was submitted and made very minimal changes. Subsequently this business took yet another 8 days to put my car on a rack to determine that a steering rack and tie rod were needed. These parts then had to be ordered which took another 3 days. When the parts arrived, I was told the repairs would begin. When I arrived to get some things out of my vehicle and ultimately see if the repair was taking place, I was not surprised to see my vehicle sitting on the lot of many with no signs of any work being done. The employee working on my case was available to offer apologies and to assure me the work would start on Monday. (Work is typically done Mon-Thurs unless minimal changes are required to get your vehicle completed on Friday.) I sought out a better collision repair center and was able to quickly arrange for repair. I had a tow truck there to retrieve my vehicle within the hour. I was then told I would possibly have restocking fees for the part they had ordered and a release fee. I recorded this conversation and have asked them to discuss with my insurance company who is paying the bill. Bottom line - honesty is important to gain consumer trust and loyalty. Had I been told that they were overwhelmed with work, that it would take >3 weeks to begin repair, and that they were working towards resolving their inefficiency, I would have left my vehicle in trustworthy hand. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. IF YOU VALUE HONESTLY, EFFICIENCY, AND CONSUMER RESPECT, GO ELSEWHERE.
