We have purchased many new cars from Stoops over the years and have always been happy with the quality of the transaction, the delivery and follow-through, and especially, the service after the sale. Stoops is always as good as its word, and they go above and beyond to make sure that we as customers are happy and satisfied with the resolution of whatever problems or situtations bring us to the dealership. They have a fabulous physical plant, keep it that way, and make it more inviting, it seems, each time we vist. The Stoops personnel are all friendly and smile at you, and they seem to really care that we are happy customers. That makes it easy to talk with them, and easy to deal with them when we have issues, or its time for a new car. We are also grateful that Randy Stoops has a policy of giving back to the community, and that they are great supporters of multiple causes in this community that could not thrive without the continuing support and encouragement of people like Randy and Jeff Stoops. This last deal for a 2014 LaCrosse introduced us to Pat Bowen, Stoops Internet Sales Manager, who did a terrific job of painlessly guiding us through the selection and transfer process, and made sure we were completely ready and understood all the new features before we left the lot late that night. We are so grateful to him and to Randy for handing us off to Pat, and highly recommend you contact Pat if you are looking for a new car with a particular array of features. Pat will surprise you with his thorough approach and his great follow-through.

I happen to encounter a young man named Patrick long who was the most frinedly and enthusiastic "sales person" I have ever encountered in my more than 60-years. I say "salesman" in quotes because I have a certain person in mind when I say "salesman" and, believe me, it is definately NOT favorable. Patrick, on the other hand, simply educated me on the Buick La Crosse and the options and never tried to "sell" me. Due to his attitude and personable ways, I found a car that suited my needs at a price that I was more than impressed with. Without having Pat Long on the lot that fateful afternoon, I never would have been driving a Buick today. My advise to Mr. Stoops is to do whatever you have to do to keep Pat Long. One other note: after I had agreed to the deal and was signing the paperwork, the person evaluating my deal came in and told me that there was "a problem" with the payment. I instinctly thought "here we go, the old hustle". Then, they informed me that my monthly payment would DROP by$40 per month! I was stunned! They had the sale and certainly did not have to inform me of this at all. They went out of their way to reduce my payment and I would never have known the difference. This act has made me a lifetime Stoops fan. THIS is a dealership that I can believe in and one who I can proudly recommend to my friends.

I worked with Terry Criswell over the phone and by email to learn more a preowned vehicle and to negotiate a price that was benenfical for both parties. I live 1.5 hours away from the dealership and would be coming late at night so was hoping to save some time. Terry was very helpful, polite, and informative with the communications. He always sounded calm and honest so I felt good about making the trip out there. He worked with me as needed while I drove there, getting as much as we could out of the way. The car was ready to go when we got there (it was snowing). Everything went well except for the A/C not working properly. This was a letdown because I had come all this way understanding all things were working properly and at that point had to make a decision. It was too late in the evening for a mechanic to take a look at it. We liked the vehicle otherwise and felt we were still getting a good deal. The check engine light did come one a few days after we purchased the vehicle however the issue seems to be really minor. Buying preowned vehicles can be tough. The other employees were very nice and the showroom was clean. If I lived closer I would definitely consider Stoops in my future car buying experiences or at least visit them early on a Saturday.

Ever since I purchased my vehicle in November I have had so many issues with the vehicle and the service here. Too many to list and if I did list them the review would be so long nobody would read it. Pushy salesperson who refused to give me detailed info on financing until I signed paperwork, when I went to my bank for a loan gave me the incorrect total, then the sales mgr wouldnt honor the total he gave me so I ended paying $300 more out of pocket at the dealership, got my vehicle and low oil light comes on the day after I purchased it, low tires, cabin air filter needed replaced, wheel bearing went out on my way to work, now grinding noises from the back. A local mechanic who has helped me out for years showed me where the OTHER wheel bearing in the back is going out. The service department lies to you and tells you the car is fine when it is not. I regret buying from here. I had never purchased a vehicle from a dealership before this and this has been a terrible experience and I should have ran when I got the chance. So should you if youre reading this.

I had decided I needed a new pickup truck, so I started researching the F150, Silverado and the Sierra. Through my research I decided that the GMC Sierra SLE was the truck for me. Based on the style and look of the truck, the Ecotech V8, and the needs of my family, this truck is what I wanted. My wife had purchased her last vehicle (2013 GMC Acadia) from Stoops Automotive, and we had nothing short of a great experience. This made it an easy decision for us. Once we decided on the Sierra I made a call to Henry and Dale to let them know what I was looking for. My wife and I drove up to Muncie that night, from Fishers. We looked at and drove a couple of trucks, and finally decided on 1. The next day we went back up to Muncie, met with Dale, sat down with Henry and it was done. Simple with no hassles; just a great experience again. When its time to purchase again, I might save myself the time of doing research and just call Dale and Henry first. A huge thank you to Stoops Automotive. David Warrum Fishers, IN

Will not return. Waited in lot for 40 minutes. No one came out. Called to get someone from parking lot. Asked for trade quote - young man went in to get someone - no one came out - again - total of an hour with two of us waiting. Prior to this, we said we would not return based on experience with the young sales person. Totally condescending - kept pushing financing when we told him multiple times we did not finance. He also basically called us a liar when we told him what another dealership would give us on trade. We left and when to AutoWorld in Anderson and bought the very same truck that evening in 40 minutes. Shame on us for giving them a second chance. Dealerships need to really need to match the sales person with the customer. Older customers, who can pay cash, prefer not to deal with kids and want a bottom line deal. And, if we say we do not finance - it should stop. We wont return. I am sure the ownership would not be pleased with the our experience - especially the first one back in July.
