Came here with my daughter to get her hair cut and colored. Sharon, the stylist, did exactly what my daughter wanted in terms of color, but my kid didnt like it and started crying (shes 12). Sharon was very calm and reassuring and explained that she would be happy to change it. Poor Sharon was with my kid from 330 to 8pm. While I waited I asked if anyone could cut my hair, and Matt said he could squeeze me in and did an excellent job on my hair. Just as he was finishing my hair, another client of his walked in and waited briefly while he finished my cut and I realized he really had squeezed me in. When Sharon finished my daughters hair, my kid still didnt like it, but I thought it looked amazing. Sharon explained that the color will change a bit after a few washes. When we got home my kid went to her room for 20 minutes then walked out and said she loved it! She said she was just shocked at first by the difference. I have to say we really pushed this salon to the breaking point and they truly came through for us both. I am really grateful for the top notch service and above and beyond hospitality. Sharon handled my kid with all the patience and kindness one could ever hope for.

I called to see if they had availability for a walk-in appointment, which they did, which was great! The woman I talked to on the phone was very pleasant...Monique. I arrived at the salon at 2pm, which was the time of my appointment, and Monique told me she needed to wax a clients eyebrows, which I said was ok, so I went ahead and sat down in the waiting area. Someone else was getting their hair colored, and the conversation I couldnt help but overhear was not appropriate, in fact it was very negative. I waited for 15-20 minutes, until I decided I did not want to subject myself to the negative environment any longer. It was only one stylist that created this experience, unfortunately, and I cannot say anything regarding the quality of the cut/color at this salon...strictly the environment that caused me to go elsewhere.

Ask for Helen! Shes a gem, I wish I could give her more than five stars! Shes a great Esthetician, who really cares about her clients. Very knowledgeable, skilled and kind. I have to admit I dont always take the best care of my skin, but you would never know it after a visit. My face glows. Helen always takes the time to explain the products shes using on your face and why. She listens to your concerns and helps you learn the best way to manage them. Ive had numerous treatments from her ranging from facials, brow tinting, waxing and my new obsession eyelash extensions! I was a little nervous at first but Helen was so patient, has a light touch and explained everything. I am seriously obsessed with my lashes. They are really full and long, but look super natural at the same time. Highly recommend!

I received the worst haircut of my life here, the layers were horrible uneven and one side was left far heavier than the other so it just would not lay right. I measured it at home and there was a 2 inch difference between the 2 sides. In addition, This place is FILTHY, I mean dirty paper towels, old color sitting around in bowls, hair all over the floor, half eaten food, etcetera.The salon is also very poorly run. They called me to cancel my service on two seperate occasions without any appology. When I asked if another stylist could assist me I was told that was impossible, even on the second cancellation. Finally, the stylist kept talking to me about her sexual addiction. While I am not conservative at all, the detail made me very uncomfortable. It also did not involve me at all.

I have been seeing Kristen Hagan for going on 6 years now and I cant say one bad thing about my hair over the past 6 years. Nor could i say anything bad about Sensations as a whole. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is friendly, and the services are amazing. I would absolutly recommend Kristen as well as this salon to anyone. As a matter of fact, I do recommend them on almost a daily basis. I work at UPS and get numerous compliments on my hair. 2 thumbs up!!! In reguards to the "OUTDATED" comment, this is very untrue as i have a VERY modern color and cut. The staff stays very well educated on new and trendy styles.

Sensations Salon and Day Spa is awesome! I love the place! The ladies are friendly and fun to be around and I have never walked away unsatisfied by whatever product/service I have had from them. I have been a customer for many years and have always found the place clean and hip. Cathy is an awesome stylist and I just love the cut she gave me today just from one picture I showed her. Missy is funny and very talented with her massages - makes you melt into yourself and leaves you relaxed and ready for anything. I would recommend them to anyone!

You know that brief moment when you finally hit the sweet spot when chewing a gumball from a machine, magical unicorns in your mouth experience. That is the experience you will have at Sensations, the moment you walk out of the doors of Sensations and the wind hits you like something out of a Loreal hair commercial, its as if someone is throwing rose petals in front of the ground you walk on. I get my locks colored and beautified by Shan, she is amazing. I would rate her quality 100 stars if google would let me.

I got my haircut here a couple years ago, and it was bad enough that I still remember it. They seem unable to give hair a "popular" style (i.e. layers) without making it look choppy. I had to go to another hair stylist 2 weeks after going to Sensations and she *gasped* when she saw my haircut, and said it was one of the worst shed ever seen. Luckily she was able to fix it, but that should not have happened in the first place! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.

Really great salon. Shan Kokas has been doing my hair for years now and I couldnt imagine going to anyone else. She keeps track of all my crazy hair colors, which ones that worked well for me and the ones that I didnt love. She is very thoughtful, always checking in on how I am doing in the process and is very easy to talk to. The environment is always clean and the other stylists there have always been very pleasant. Highly recommend!

Sensations Salon & Day Spa is probably the best kept secret in the Highlands, although it should also be well known outside of the area. Unlike other advertised spas, this is a wonderful experience, with much more personal & caring attention. Missy gives a massage that you will never forget & in such a relaxing atmosphere, you really dont want it to end, but you will come back quite often. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Stopped by here to get my eyebrows done on a whim. While they looked good, i was charged $30, which is double anywhere else. They didnt tell me the price until after nor did they have it listed anywhere. I feel if your gonna charge double what other people charge you should tell people that upfront. I will never be going back there.
