Hey, this place is a Louisville original. If your make or female, its a great place... Amy is my gal. She cut my hair every two weeks before my wedding. My wife loved my hair. The photos are great, my bride is so happy with our still frame memories. Highland beauty and Barber is laid back, professional and fun all in one... I have been going to Amy since around this time last year. I consider her a friend. The haircuts and conversation is great. As a man I like having a lady as classy yet down to earth as her shape my do. She is from Louisville like me, so we can talk about all kinds of stuff. Never have I ever been to a barber shop where some one made such an effort to make it a personal experience. I feel like it fits in to my life as another joyful activity I get to do, instead of something I have to do. Would recommend as a barbershop, but not a womens style. Stylist cut my hair much shorter when I specified I wanted a trim and had been growing out curly hair. Framed my face on a part I didnt even ask for. Wrong part. Said I was growing out my hair and ignored what I said. Nice people, but another stylist who did what she wanted and didnt listen to the client who is the curly hair expert.

Great work, great attitude, great prices, and nice conversation. I thought I would have to wait until my next trip to Europe for a great haircut. Ive tried many stylists around Louisville, and a few in Indiana, and most seem to miss the goal one way or another with my curly hair. Win! It appears that Amanda has "magic" hands!
