I just moved to Louisville about two months ago and it is seriously nerve wracking to find a new stylist that you trust. I took a chance and booked an appointment at Bennie & Friends. Karissa was absolutely amazing from the moment I walked in. She showed me around the spa, examined my current color and told me how she was going to make it better than ever. She gave me the best balayage I have ever had. Karissa also ensured I was comfortable the entire time during the coloring process, shampoo, and cut. She was able to give me a new stylish look and take a lot of weight off my heavy hair. Karissa also did my eyebrow waxing and even filled them in. Throughout the whole process she provided me with tips on styling my hair at home, shampoos that will help keep the color, and makeup tips while staying positive and peppy the whole time. I think she was more excited about how everything was going to turn out than I was. Definitely the best experience I have had with a professional colorist and stylist.

Love love love the girls there they are so talented plus the girls at the front desk are extremely kind and they will always help you get you an appointment as soon as you can get in they will make sure that you got the right hair dresser with your personality that will work with you and see the same vision that you need also they sell equipment like curling irons that many invented and blow dryers that are very very high scale equipment also I recommend Jacqueline shes the girl that does my hair shes great great at haircuts so go stop in at Frankford Avenue in Louisville Kentucky closed on Mondays dont forget but they are great its a great atmosphere just all-around great products for sale a lovely place to go to relax

I love Hair by Bennie and Friends! I have been going to the salon for almost 2 years after moving to Louisville and I have never been so happy with my hair and the services I receive at this salon. I go to Michele and always look forward to my appointments. She always listens to what I want and makes sure that I am happy with my hair. I have also referred friends to her and they are very happy as well. My mom was in town one weekend and I treated her to a haircut at Bennies and she still raves about it and always wants to go back whenever she is in town. I would definitely recommend this salon!

My stylist, Michele is incredible! A friend recommended this place shortly after I moved to the area and I absolutely LOVE it. Prior to moving, I had been seeing the same stylist for nearly my entire life and was really nervous about finding a replacement. The staff at Bennie & Friends made me feel welcome from the first moment I called to schedule my appointment, and took the time to show me around the salon, explain the services and products, etc during my initial visit. Im always thrilled with my hair when I leave and am constantly recommending this place to others!

I dont live in Louisville (or Kentucky), I was here for about a week on short notice, so once here I remembered I needed to get a haircut. Not only did they fit me in on the same day as I called the experience was absolutely wonderful. I saw Kylie R. during my visit. She was an amazing professional, very knowledgeable, personable, and skilled. If I did live anywhere near Louisville there is likely no other place I would go or anyone else I would let touch my hair. Would suggest to everyone!

Where do I start? These people are just amazing. I cant exactly remember who did my hair, but I think her name is Katie. She did what I thought was impossible. My hair was a dark red, within an hour and a half my hair was a light blonde. Not even a little yellow tent, which is what I was worried about. It was gorgeous! It would of taken one more session for it to be the exact color I wanted, but i had zero complaints about how my hair turned out.

I requested a stylist who was good with thick hair and could layer. I originally thought thats what I was getting but after I got home I realized that I did not get ANY layers, but instead he took way too much off the length. For the price I paid I expected to get an experienced stylist but I dont think he knew how to do layers. Will not return and will not recommend this place! Horrible experience.

This salon is amazing...very friendly, but high-end styling staff. Erin worked a miracle with my newly-cut (BAD haircut at home salon) hair,and then Amanda almost topped her by doing the most gorgeous make-up for me. Hair By Bennie & Friends is one of Louisvilles top salons, maybe #1! I love the attitudes of the staff, and my stylist always delivers a great cut. It is a full service salon, so my wife is a client too! If you are looking for a new stylist, or want a new salon experience, I highly recommend HBB&F.

Love it! Glad I found a place I know I can trust my hair to be done how I want, not how the stylist wants, because they listen. Very professional but also they make you feel right at home. Karyssa is my favorite stylist! Very sweet, talented, has great vision for hair.
