I just went to the Chopping Block for the first time and loved it! Mandi Foster cut my hair, and she did a great job. She was thorough, and the result was just what I wanted. She was knowledgeable about the products she was using. Her shampoo of my hair felt great and she even gave me a hand massage while the conditioner sat in my hair for a little bit. She said she is trying to build a customer base so her price for the cut was very reasonable. The salon overall had a great selection of services and the prices were reasonable for a nice salon. The hair styling area was a little crowded, but not uncomfortably so. The atmosphere was nice and I could tell there were a lot of regulars there that night by the conversations around me. Great experience and I look forward to my next visit!

One of the worst haircuts I have gotten in a long time. Amber did not listen to anything I said about my hair type or what I wanted. I told her my hair tends to fall flat on top, and I walked away with a style that was flat on top and poofy on the sides. I asked for a trim & got 3 inches cut off. To make matters worse, the style of the cut is completely outdated and old. And my color is flat and dull. I will not be going back again.

My friend bought me a gift certificate from the chopping block day spa and salon for my birthday gift. I just went there to get my hair cut, massage and pedicure did today. The staffs were so professional and they know what they are doing. They take time to listen to what I want. I felt like a new person walking on the clouds out of that place. Definitely my new favorite place to take good care of myself!!!!

The people are genuine, sincere, and good at what they do. Great interpersonal skills and very accommodating. Great spa environment. Two antique homes that have been combined in the heart of St. Matthews. They just won Salon Todays Top 200 Salons in the ENTIRE U.S. Award!! Highly recommended! Oh, and they do custom wigs for cancer patients!

Ive never had a person that Ive stuck with until I started going to Siena. Shes super cool and my hair is always perfect when I leave, despite the fact that I would always kill it with heat and bleach. Ive gotten so many compliments on my new haircut from a couple days ago, and I absolutely love it(: Worth every penny
