Last Sunday morning, my husband and I were leaving this Walmart when we hit a pothole. This pothole may or may not have been on Walmart property- we are still looking into that (the pothole was on the small street on the far side of the Walmart parking lot, which runs parallel to Preston Highway.) This pothole caused us to blow out two of our tires- both on the passenger side of the vehicle. We were on our way to church across the street, so we took the car over to our church parking lot, and after the first service my husband and father-in-law put the spare tire on the back passenger side wheel, then took the car back over to Walmart to get the tires replaced. They were told that it would take a little over an hour to put the new tires on. This was shortly after 11:00 AM. After the second church service was over, at approximately 12:20 PM, we still had not received a call from Walmart regarding our car. We finally got a call saying our car was ready at about 1:40 PM- more than two hours after it had been dropped off. We went back to Walmart, paid our bill, and began moving our belongings from my father in laws car back to our car (we had purchased some items from the store that morning), and we noticed that despite the fact that we had paid for two new tires, only ONE tire had been replaced. Not only that, but the spare tire was still on the back wheel! You would think that whoever worked on our car would have noticed that and thought "oh yes, I was supposed to fix that, too!" Basically, Walmart employees took twice as long to do a job as they said they would, and they only did HALF the job. My husband and father in law, quite angry at this point, went back to the garage to try to find out what was going on. We were quite upset that we were not offered any compensation for this error (waiting twice as long as estimated, only receiving half of what we paid for.) We then had to wait an additional half an hour while the second tire was replaced. All in all, this was a HORRIBLE experience. The people who worked on our car were not apologetic enough (this was a pretty big error to make), and when all was said and done the whole experience cost almost three and a half hours of our time, when it should have taken a lot less than that. I am hesitant to give Walmart any more of my automotive business, because I have a sickening feeling that someone was trying to swindle us. How can I even guarantee that the tires I purchased were "new"? For all I know, Walmart could have given me someone elses reject tires. I wouldnt be surprised. The staff working in the automotive center obviously do not pay attention to their work. We will also be taking our Sunday morning shopping business to the Kroger across the street. If you are bound and determined to patronize this Walmart (or have a tire emergency, as we did), keep two things in mind: 1.) The service you require may take more than twice as long as the estimate you are given, and 2.) Be sure to check their work! Look your vehicle over thoroughly to make sure they took care of everything you paid for.

Some WalMarts are ok but the one on newcut outerloop sucks..it never has anything I need in stock an if it does I dont usually see it becuz its always in the wrong places. And not saying this in a prejudice way becuz iam not but I guess that itll stay that way as long as they keep hiring people who cant speak English. I mean if they cant speak it I know they cant read it so what the hell. But I think they might have a new night manger though an hopefully hell get that place together because its closest to where I live at an its more a convenience to me than riding all the way across town. But really if it wasnt such a convenience to me I probably wouldnt of even gave it a 2 stars. An another thing that erks my nerves about all Wal-Marts is that they dont have the hours of the automotive department on there web sights you have to call them an be put on hold forever to be told the wrong times an speaking of being put on hold if you all are gonna have an electronics department you need to at least have somebody working back there night and day that knows what the hell there talking about an know what theyre doing. at least one person for every shift becuz its crazy when you call an ask if there gonna have a certain game out on a certain day or you have questions about anything back in that Department an you not only get put on hold for 20/30 mins but when they get on the phone they dont know not a nothing about nothing back there, an your alls u scans SMH Im not even gonna get started on that topic or on any others Im just gonna go ahead an leave it at this you all really need to get it together there I cant speak for any other Wal-Marts really Ive been to a few but not as much as I have this one an this one is by far the most outta control dirtiest messed up rude workers Ive ever been too. And its really sad that you cant even go to this one an feel safe to run in and out without the drug addicts hanging out up there all the time. And its not always been this bad at this Walmart but its never been perfect either but at least you use to be able to find stuff an get the proper help you needed and you felt allot safer then u do now. I mean what is the security doing there not there jobs obviously? I dont no but people be very careful if you go there at night is all Im saying. Just get it together outerloop Walmart.

Waited until tires were off my car and oil change done before telling me they couldnt mount the tires I wanted. Got charged an extra $40 because of 5mm. 5mm! Every tire guy in the world knows 5mm is not going to make a difference! Says its Walmarts policy. Also refused to put my old tires back on. Never bring your vehicle here.
