While driving through Simpsonville last week, on my way to an extremely important meeting with a client, I looked down and saw an exclamation mark light up on my dashboard and thought to myself: why not? My day has been a trainwreck since the alarm clock went off at 5:30 a.m.! Next came the low tire light, and now I am panicking! Where is there a tire store near by? No sooner do I see a place to the right of me that works on cars, however, the parking lot is Packed! I bet they are too busy! To my surprise as I rolled into the parking lot, I was greeted by an employee! He immediately sent me inside and I was told that Dale will greet me inside to get my information. (Always an intimidating experience to be a woman and going into The Shop!) To my surprise, the lobby was very inviting, quite tasteful really. As I looked to the shop window, my car was already pulled in and they were removing the tire! Dale greeted me and was extremely friendly and urgent! Before I even finished fixing a lemon tea (here came the bad news) Woodie, the employee who greeted me outside, came in and explained to me that the tire was not repairable due to the nail being in the sidewall of the tire. This was not very shocking to me since I was told elswhere last week that my tires all need to be replaced. My big concern was my meeting is in fourteen minutes!!! Woodie understood my situation and had an employee bring the "loaner van" around front and told me to go on to my meeting and we can price you a tire or tires and give me a call in just a few minutes. Wow! They dont even know me! My friend from work told me to only buy tires at Good Year so I quicly called them for a quote just to compare! No sooner, Woodie called me (through talking, I found out he was not only an employee, but also the owner!) Explaining they get all tire brands and gave me a few options in which All were less than my Good Year quote? I told him I would text him my decision shortly because I have to go into the meeting right now! I did text Woodie back with my decision and when I returned an hour and a half later, my car was being parked out front and another employee handed me my keys and suggested to check my tire pressures more frequently in these cold months in which I did not know. I went inside, and like clock work, they explained the bill along with my new road hazard warranty, free tire rotations and were just so friendly and knowlegable! I also learned that they work on any make and model vehicles so my husband and I are taking his Bmw up there for its next service! Thank you guys! There is nothing like efficiency and good old service!

My car broke down on our way to the Smoky Mountain. The engine was overheating and the coolant was leaking. After discussed it with Woody, the owner of the shop, I decided to leave the car at Simpsonville Automotive and get a rental car for the rest of our vacation. But because it was during the holiday season, and I am under 25, so there were simply no car for me to rent. Woody was extremely helpful, he called several car rental centers and eventually found an enterprise about 10 miles away that has some rentals available. That, totally saved our vacation. We made it to our cabin before the office close that day. We stayed at the Smoky for 4 days, and returned yesterday to pick up my car. Though Woody personally guaranteed that they will be open on Memorial Day and my car will be god to go when we get there, but I have to say, I had my doubts. Fortunately, Woody is a man of his own words. Not only my car was already parked in the lot when we arrived, but it cost me a lot less than what I expected. I am not a KY residence, I live in Indiana. If it were for the broke down of my car, I would probably never visit Simpsonville Automotive. The whole experience at Simpsonville Automotive was truly great. A lot of shop can deliver good quality work, but only a handful can do so while making you feel welcomed and at home. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who want to not only find a shop for better work at more reasonable price, but a shop which you can trust, a owner you can rely on. Thank you Simpsonville Automotive, and thank you Woody!

I would not take my car here if it were the last shop on the entire planet. We took our 2006 Passat in for an intermittent hard shift in 1st gear. It would lurch a bit hitting 2nd gear. They did $900 worth of work and when we got the car back it was still doing the same thing, even though they ran diagnostics for a hefty charge and replaced a few parts. I took it back in and told them that we had an extra vehicle so that they could keep it and drive it and solve the issue. one week and $1700 more dollars later, I picked the car up to have it lurch on the way home. I called the shop and they informed me that MAYBE $500 could fix the problem!! They replaced tons of parts but did not fix the original issue after $2600!! I could have replaced the transmission for that much! After sharing my story with several locals, they laughed and said, "Everybody has to learn the heard way not to mess with Woody (the owner)" He seems like a nice guy but his business practices are deplorable! It is my mission to see that no one else has to go through this pain.

We were visiting friends in Lexington and had a tire go bad on the interstate on the way. We googled a tire shop and this was the nearest place. Even though it was at the end of their work day, they went out of their way to see to our problem, which ended up being a tire that was coming apart. Very dangerous. They did all that was necessary to get us back on the road safely despite the late hour and the fact that they were busy with other customers. The owner took care of us personally since most of the crew were at the end of their shift. He explained what was wrong and also pointed out some other needed repairs that we would need soon. By the time we left, we wished that we had such a great, trustworthy auto mechanic at our own home. There were several locals there too, so you can tell it is also trusted by the community. I wouldnt hesitate to go to them for service.

We have been taking our vehicles to Simpsonville Auto for over 3 years and have nothing but great things to say about Woody and his staff. These guys are the real deal and have always accomidated my wife and I and are always straight up and fair. We were recently out of town on vacation and got a flat tire. I knew that I had purchased road hazard on the tires and called Woody back here in KY to see if he could help me out. He came through for us! He made some calls and got back to me quickly with a place 10 minutes from where we were staying that would take care of the tire free of charge! The tire was fixed and we were back to enjoying our vacation in no time thanks to Woody and the tires that I purchased from him. I would highly recommend Simpsonville Auto for all car repair needs as well as tires! 5 stars all the way!
