After leaving the first time (got the oil changed), the engine light went on. We went back to the store, and were informed that our "upstream oxygen sensor" needed to be replaced. Was told it would cost about $400. We inquired about any possible discounts, and were given a vague and noncommittal answer. I called my regular mechanic, and was told that the same part (with labor costs included) would cost around $300. After we told the Tires Plus store that we are going to go with the cheaper option, they then told us they would match that (lower) price. I personally find this insulting, as they deliberately tried to gouge us for an extra $100 and only lowered the price after we did some research. Frankly, Im now suspicious as to why the engine light came on in the first place AFTER our oil change was finished. While I find this particular stores location very convenient, this whole experience has left me with a very negative impression of the store and I question the integrity of the business ethics that are in practice at this store. This unfortunately negates all the satisfactory experiences Ive had using this stores services. I will definitely be telling everyone I know about the underhanded practices of this store.

I spent 2 days looking at tire prices and availability in my area. I needed 2 tires under $100 a piece and my timeframe was to get it done 2 days prior to my road trip. I called this location and spoke with a very knowledgeable and polite woman by the name of Linda. She was very helpful. I described my situation and she was able to price me two Firestone tires at $77 a piece making the estimate total for the entire replacement $209. I was so overjoyed at the deal I was getting that I was certain it would take a week for me to get the tires and the replacement. Not the case, Linda informed me that the tires were in stock and that she could schedule me for an appointment to replace them the next day at noon. I have been a frequent customer of Tire Plus for years but this location went above and beyond with their customer service. Thanks guys for easing my car troubles.

Wife had an issue with the air condition. Brought it over to michael tires and they added free-on and told her the problem was fixed and charged us $140. On her way back home the air stopped working so she turned around and went back. After a second inspe tion of the air conditioning unit they concluded that they could not fix the problem and sent her to a different repair shop. So we were charged $140 for a problem that wasnt fixed, and than sent to another repair shop. Ultimately i was told to come back to michael tires have the free-on removed and will be refunded. Done doing business with this company. My time is also worth money.

BIG RIP OFF I took my car in for front alignment. Alignment complete ($80.00). took car back next day complaining about the fact it was still pulling to the right. They re-examined and now said that both tire rod ends need replacement, as well as the front tires ($470.00). took the car for a 2nd opinion and was told tire rod ends were fine and the tires just needed rotation. OH, by the way, The alignment had to be re-done and now the car rides fine. ALWAYS GET A 2nd OPINION ON MAJOR REPAIRS FROM THIS MICHEL TIRES!!!!!!

Their mechanic checked the wrong tire when I clearly indicated which one was having issues! Unbelievable! I feel sorry for anyone getting work done here! The mechanic told me my tires were fine! Guess what? My driver side front tire was way off balance. It vibrated so badly that the bolts on my brake caliper were vibrated loose. I nearly crashed when my brake caliper came loose and locked up the wheel when I hit the brakes. I will just go to friggin Wal-Mart from now on.

I took my car in for a simple oil change. When they called me up to the counter, they told me some part (I am not mechanically inclined) needed to be repaired. I said okay and had them repair it. The next day my car began to overheat and wasnt able to go over 40mph. It was FINE the day before. I told them the problem and they tried to charge me 300 extra, I ended up just scraping the car and buying a new one. Do not go here!!!

I have never had any problem with them. I got 2 new tires from there for almost the same price I got 1 of the exact same tire a month earlier from Big 0s. Convient location and they got my car back to me fast. I dont know about the unethical treatment other people say they have recived but I am mechanically inclined and had no problem when I got my ignition coil replaced.

I tried to talk to the man at this place I was on hold about 8 minutes and he was a real jackass when I come back and I asked him if he had any good used truck tires he was real hateful I wouldnt I wouldnt go to this place for nothing in the world now I only needed a spare tire but hes a jackass
