Ive been using L & S since moving to this side of town in 2011. Not knowing anyone in the area, when my first need occurred I brought my car to Mr. Vince because of the convenient location. Over the last three years of getting service on my car there, Id drive anywhere inside Baton Rouge limits to continue to use his establishment. Ive had a fare share of bad experiences with automotive shops. Ive been lied to about work needed and told my tires were rotated when they were FOR SURE not!! Mr. Vince and his receptionist has been polite and patient with me every time Ive brought my car in. From the simplest to most complicated issues he has been kind enough to talk to me on the phone and answer all my questions about his findings. Once my husband had some very expensive work recommended by the dealership for his pick up and he went to L & S for a second opinion since Id been satisfied with my service there. They told him the urgency the dealership was pushing on him was not necessary but would definitely be needed at some point. They gave him an estimate to take home and it was much less than his original quote. I dont know many mechanics who turn away work they could justify. I would highly recommend L & S for your auto repair, maintenance and restorations you may need.

I own an old vehicle, a 99 Suburban. My first experience with L& S was when my fuel pump failed. These guys remove/replaced the fuel pump in a very timely manner and had me back on the road the same day. My second encounter a ball joint popped out in a turn and I had the vehicle towed (AAA) to them. It was late in the day and I had to leave for an event in Michigan. They had the vehicle repaired and back on the road the following day. In my third experience with L& S I had them replace my front brakes, rotors, calipers and master cylinder and clean rear brakes. Again, job complete on same day. These guys are folks I have learned to trust and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an auto repair shop. Price structure? Well I asked them what the work will cost me, they research it and I just go with it. I really dont feel a need to complain about cost of repairs because Im paying for a very good service. Extremely High Prices for simple jobs that normaly cost 50 to 80 % percent less in other places. Long time to get things finish more than a week 1/2 .... took it two times same results.

Oil seperator works great. Whole widened in filler cap and started throwing a code. L&S sent a new filler cap and o-ring (NC) tight fit now...no codes. Thanks!
