I have bought a lot of cars over the years from different dealers and it is always a stressful experience and you leave feeling taken advantage of and driving away in something that you didnt want in the first place. In fact, I had shopped around Slidell at a couple of dealers and even left one upset about how blatantly they were lying to me and taking advantage of me. Fast forward to Northshore Toyota. We went there looking to replace a vehicle that died and the salesman Corey Brown took excellent care of us. He listened to what we needed and could afford and worked with us to get a used vehicle that fit perfectly into our life. I love the car and I love the way I felt after the deal. It was pleasant and not stressful at all. Then, when our second older vehicle died just 2 weeks later, it was a no-brainer where we were going to replace this car. Corey already had a couple of vehicles picked out that would work for us. Again, he listened to what we needed and went above and beyond to help us get it. Speaking of which, Jimmy Comeaux, exceeded my expectations helping work the financing and fighting on our behalf to get the best financing deal. They both stayed late after closing to get us taken care of and I appreciate it. I have seen some of the bad reviews and I have had my own share of bad experiences in the past. However, this dealership has done nothing but help my family and go above and beyond what I expect to make sure I get what I need and what works best for me, not just the highest profit for them. I know they are making a profit (thats the business) and I know I am getting a good deal. I cant ask for any better service and I know for a fact, I will return here for any car needs in the future. I would definitely recommend this dealership and salesman to my friends and family, knowing that they will be treated well.

This is the only Toyota dealership in the area and as such when moving here we started going to them for service on 2 vehicles. As we had maintenance agreements for both of our vehicles (purchased through a Toyota dealership) which covers all maintenance services (e.g. oil changes, tire rotations) we are supposed to receive acceptance at any dealership (this is what we were told). We have now had our vehicles serviced 4 times with this particular dealership and each time have had issues with the service department over accepting this coverage. On ever occasion as soon as we pull in and show them our maintenance plan they immediately claim that they did not receive payment from the maintenance company for the last service and do not want to accept the coverage. It then takes us having to make a simple phone call to the maintenance company and the dealership is provided the exact dates and times of the credit card transactions that had been processed to the dealership at time of the previous service (i.e. they had been paid). It is very apparent they this dealership just does not want to even attempt to work with a maintenance company and our impression is they just right from the start want to avoid it at all cost. The attitude we receive right from the start of any attempt to get service from this dealership is not in our opinion strong customer service. On a side note we have paid for services done outside of the covered services too so they had also been getting additional business from us. At this point we will be driving out of our way to another dealership for services going forward and this dealership will lose our business in its entirety including any plans to purchase new vehicles.

Brought my car in Saturday at 8:30 for general maintenance, cleaning battery corrosion, and cleaning windshield wiper sprayer since it was clogged. and It was done in two hours, they told me about needing my air filter cleaned, alignment, and break services done. The cost of the services were expensive for the work being done but thats beside the point. When I opened my car to change my air filters myself they had left it open and not closed it back. They had broken the heat shield and it was only behind held on by one plug and so while we went to the auto store to get the air filters (they would have charged 45 for the engine one and it was 12 dollars at the store, 55 for the cabin air filter and it cost 15 dollars at the store and took 3 minutes only because the glove box was being a butt) Had to buy my own plugs luckily universal ones work and cost us only 2.15$ but the fact I left spending 180+ dollars and they left my car jacked up. Sunday evening when I went to turn my car on the car did not start. Reason, the anti corrosion spray they put on was so caked on it stopped the battery from keeping a charge for the car to start. Once we cleaned it off and gave it a short jump it worked fine. This is the second time I have been to this place, and the last. The first time I hated it because the service person spoke down to me and talked around me when my boyfriend and I explained the issue with my tire. I am never going back to this place, I have been to the Toyota in BR on Airline and have never had bad service ever,I have no idea what is wrong with this place but I wont ever be back.

The best service experience Ive ever had at a car dealership!!!! Ive never been a dealership fan but Northsore Toyota is a totally different dealership!! I called the service department for advice on purchasing a used Avalon from a non Toyota dealership. Brandon was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful answering my mechanical questions and helping me feel confident and secure in my vehicle purchase. I purchased an extra key and 4 new tires today from Northshore. Joey in parts was also very kind and helpful!!!! The tire prices were competitive too. No surprises on the bill either. Instead of sitting and waiting in their fabulous waiting room, a gentleman, Larry, drove me to a local shopping area and picked me up when my car service was complete!!!! I have never been treated like this. I cannot say enough good about this place. There is a closer Toyota dealership to me but I will drive an extra 20 miles to do business here because they are about service. It began with a phone call. Nice on the phone and in person!!!! Great job and hats off to you Northshore Toyota!!!!!! Yall know customer service and deliver!!!!!

I went to North Shore Toyota to look at & possibly purchase a 2011 Highlander. Sales Rep's name was CALEB........BEWARE!!!!!!! He was sooooo arrogant & RUDE!!!! He got registration to have my car appraised- he walked around, in & out the door & came to me & said,"we can do xxxxx amount per month for xxxxxx amount of years", I them said,"it wasn't that serious!" He then handed me my registration & said,"have a nice day & good luck in your car search!" I asked if that was how they did things, ( by letting the sales rep appraise the car- he says,"yep I do it ALL & I thought you wanted this to be easy!!!!" Meanwhile, ALL of the managers ate sitting in an office peering out as he's telling me everything. Before all of this-I asked him if I could tell him what I was looking for in a Highlander & he says,"YES, but I probably don't have it!""" WORST experience EVER & I was only there 20 minutes & didn't even buy anything!!!!!
