Went into my dealer where I purchased my CPO 2012 Malibu for an oil change and possible brake issues. I have $500 credit there so figured I would use it. Come to find out, that $500 could only be used in $25 increments. Left with an estimate of $700 to replace all brakes and rotors and they couldnt even start until tomorrow morning. On top of that, guy informs me that I had free oil changes that have expired. I sure didnt, but thanks for bringing that up I guess? Frustrated, I called around (at 4pm) and was able to bring my car in to Carx asap. I was quoted $600 for all brakes/rotors, could possibly have it done by tomorrow morning. That works fine with me because I drive to and from St. Louis every day for work. These guys blew me away. Not only did they have it done within two hours, they saved me OVER HALF of what my dealer was charging. On top of that, my rear pads still have 50% left and dont need replaced. Within 2 hours, these guys saved me a ton of money and stress. THANK YOU!!

Let me start out by saying I love this shop, Ive had plenty of car troubles since I moved to this area last year, New (to me) jeep, new house and new places to offroad. My heep was sold to me with some mystery history and, with that, lots of surprise problems, not to mention Im not the most gentle hand either. Being new to the area I started testing the waters, lots of misses, a couple places that were just a little bit too informal, not somewhere I wanted to do repeat business, and finally Carx. Right down the road from where I live, the guys are always friendly and have helped me troubleshoot some strange problems. The warranties and pricing has always been top notch and the employees have always kept me coming back. I bring both my jeep and my wifes car, and have brought some friends over from other shops. These guys are always helpful and have gotten me out of quite a few jams. Would and do recommend.

I was in on a previous visit and was mistreated by the manager, Mike. I felt like my coming in was an inconvenience. I decided to give the shop another try. I met manager Sean who was very apologetic about my last experience and appreciated the opportunity to gain my business back. Sean treated me like a valued customer and a human being. This was a big change from the last time I was in and dealt with Mike. My technician was a quiet but very nice and knowledgeable guy named Cori or Codi. He explained what was wrong and treated me with respect. He made sure to fix the problem so that I didnt have to bring it back in again. Thank you Sean and Cori. You earned my business back.

I recently took my Cadillac in for a check engine light and maintenance issue. The pricing seemed to be fair, and they could fix it on a Saturday afternoon. In my attempt to get back to Car-x, the calipers on my van locked up on the rotors, and I was stuck. It was 4:00PM, I was in St. Louis, and there was no way to get there by 5:00PM when they closed. Bobby let me come in HOURS after normal closing to pick up my WORKING car. Car-Xs customer service goes considerably above and beyond all of my expectations, which is absolutely essential in todays dynamic economy. Theres hundreds of places to get your car fixed, but only one that is worth it. Very classy guys....very classy.

I came in asking for a simple inspection because I had a good experience at another Car-X and I left after they pressured me to sign on the dotted line to pay them over $600 for services they claimed I needed. Then I take my car to my usual mechanic and they tell me half of those services I didnt need at all. This Car-x didnt even give me a receipt or print out of the results of my inspection...they just sent me on my way after I said I wasnt interested in getting the $600+ services at that time. Ill never go back. I dont like the way they do business. Beware if youre a young woman and by yourself.

Just went today at 4:30 pm to see about resetting my car computer because its states two of my tires need air when they dont. They promptly fixed the most of the problem and will be able to finish Monday afternoon. But when I started the car it was all good be he said your two rear tires need a computer guided resetting which he will do Monday. No charge for stopping that light and buyer for going off. This is the second time i have gone there. The first time was to get new windshield and rear window wipers which they did in 10 minutes. They are my new to go place for auto repairs.

Stopped by for an oil change and tire rotation. Very pleased with the "Family Pack" method of purchasing 3 oil changes at once and being able to use them of both of my vehicles. Service was prompt, and most important, there were no greasy handprints on either the gearshift, steering wheel, or the hood or fender. The mechanic that worked on the car showed me various things that will need attention in the future, but would be ok for now. I have been using this facility for the past 5 years and have never been disappointed with their work. I highly recommend them.

Originally i was going in to get new tires,but i wanted them to check under the hood for noise i was hearing for a while. They got back with me and told me it was my belt tensioner, so i said go ahead and fix it, I got a call back to find out why it went bad,cause my water pump was leaking on top of it. Had not they found these problems for me, no telling how much worse things would have gotten for me. So I would like to thank Mike Levy and his team for being knowledgeable and worked quickly as they could to get me back on the road

Outstanding friendly and professional service does exist. It begins with an introductory name, smile, and handshake. It closes with quality service, appreciation, and yes a handshake. Before replacing 4-tires, I needed a maintenance check-up on the suspension and alignment. With all original suspension and 118xxx on the odometer, new struts, shocks, and alignment was just what the new tires required. Thanks Bobby and Jim.

I have had multiple vehicles worked on at this location and have found the staff completely professional. I know nothing about cars, but leave feeling I have learned something and actually have a say in how my cars have been fixed. They bring you out and show you what is going on and break it down in a way anyone can understand it. They have fixed everything the first time. Glad to return for any problem I may have.

i am very disappointed with my experience at car x they charged me $225 for a $60 part then used the wrong bolt when they put the part on. i payed almost $500 for them to misdiagnose my car when thats what they said was wrong with it.i ended up putting the correct parts on myself because im to afraid to let them touch my car again. its doing the same thing it was before i took it there
