I wanted to post my review of this place after reading so many negative ones, and since I moved from out of town recently, I have yet to find a good car shop I trust. My wife took our 06 Xterra to get the oil changed a few months back and said she received good service, so I figured I would try it myself this time for the next oil change. When I walked in the lady at the desk was busy on the phone, but she told me that she would be with me as soon as she could. Which I was glad she acknowledged me. Eventually another man came and asked if I needed help, probably about 5 mins or so. I said I had an appointment for an oil change at 8:30am and so he got me started. I said I just wanted the standard oil change and I had coupons for a $10 off any oil change and a $10 spring car package (basically I just needed tires rotated). So he added those and I gave him my key but he never stated the price. So I asked him and he said it was going to be $60. I asked him how much the oil change was and how much the care package was. And he had put me down for the high mileage (which my car has 106k) but I still asked for standard so I asked him to change. He did, and the cost was $30 instead. All in all I watched them work on my car, and the technician seemed to be doing a good job and fast. I was in and out in an hour. Probably would have been less but they waited around for a bit and finally asked me if I wanted them to install new wipers and a lightbulb which I kindly declined. I am pleased with speed and friendliness of staff, but didnt like not knowing the cost, which it clearly stated on a sign in the room that they would tell you. So I give 4/5 stars. I will update this when I go back another time, if I have a different experience.

Wow I dont even know where to start.. first of all I must say that I am a very nice, understanding person and what I am about to say is truthful and I hope anybody that reads this will consider going else where. This place is a total rip off.. the diagnostic is how they hustle you out your money.. even if you know what is wrong with your car THE DIAGNOSTIC test is what they will hold you accountable for REGARDLESS.... even unseen problems that you dot have a clue about.. they have your keys and literally hold your keys hostage.. well they found out I didnt need a tune up at all BUT was willing to give me one for 300 bucks.. its a lot more to this but I am so over Firestone.. this is a sad world we live in .. everyone is trying to hustle you out your hard earned money. . Well after acting out of character meaning yes I was very very angry and said a few choice words I was giving my keys back.. I have everything on tape and in the process of delivering it to someone attention.. ⚠ do NOT accept the diagnostic if you know whats wrong.. they want see you unless you have this test and if you dont get what comes up on the diagnostic fixed BY them (which all kinds of stuff comes up on that test) they can find something that cost 1,000 bucks.. its just a rip off and I am glad it was me that this happen too.. read the other reviews.. this place is a rip off.. oh and if you choose to do business with them take your valuables out the car..

I came into the shop because my rear right tire on my Fiat was flat. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted professionally and friendly, and my car was immediately looked at. If you are not familiar with fiats, the tires that the car comes with are expensive and never in stock. Of course my tires were "bald" and had no tread left, so I was left with the option of replacing my back two tires. My service representative came back with the quote for the tires and replacement, and he told me upfront that it was a ridiculously high price. Instead of trying to force me into that decision, he called his boss (the most knowledgable about tires) and figured out a better deal for a better price. Instead of leaving the shop broke and worried that my back two tires would be the same poor quality, he found four new tires, a little larger, and four a fraction of the price. Not only did the shop do that for me, but they stayed after hours to finish the car so that I could have it for the next day. It was the best visit ive ever had at a car repair shop. Firestone understands customer service!

I had a ticking noise from my A/C, but it was still blowing cold air. I dropped my vehicle off to get an estimate on having it repaired, and opted not to have the work completed at this time (~$1,000 for a new compressor). When I picked my vehicle up, the A/C did not work at all, and they had no good explanation as to why my vehicle left in worse shape than I left it. Someone also left the ignition power on, and I had a dead battery when I picked up my vehicle. ***UPDATE*** 1 week after posting this review, I had an automotive friend help me fix my AC. When we got under the hood, we found that the AC belt was missing. Firestone told me that my belt was fine when giving the diagnosis over the phone, but my AC was completely broken when I picked up my truck after working (poorly) when I dropped it off, so they apparently removed my belt to force a repair. Completely unethical. Also, purchased the parts to fix myself for $210, and Firestone was trying to charge ~$600 for the exact same parts + ~$500 labor.

This is got to be the worst service I have ever had. Drop my car off at 11:00am for a wheel alignment here it is 2:00 and my car HAVENT been SERVICE yet. Highly unprofessional car service people all outside on the phone, taking picture of the eclipse I wouldnt recommend this firestone to my worst enemy. The service that was provided my blind grandma could have did a better job than this group of lazy non working individuals. Highly pissed and disgusting.

So, my low tire warning appearing, I turned into Firestone at Poplar/Highland, left the car with them (1/4 mile from home) got a call saying the sidewall was punctured and irreparable, to which I said "I have a spare that I purchased online in my garage," which they mounted free of charge because theyre not supposed to mount another dealers tires. Damn good neighbors, they are, and will certainly have a shot at selling me my next set of Potenzas.
