I was visiting from out of state when my car would not start. I had my Acura MDX towed there based on a referral from a neighbor of my sisters. I was told it was the starter. It took them 4 days to replace it. It cost 500$. I found this a little high but I felt I had little optios being that I was out of town. One month later my car wouldnt start again. When my husband opened the hood he was surprised to find nuts and bolts and various car parts just lying around inside my car. It was a mess. After pushing my car into the Goodyear parking lot from the grocery store where I was, the good year mechanic was able to get it started it again. We have no idea how because it wasnt starting that evening. It just started up for them in the morning. 2 months later my car wouldnt start again. This time we had it towed to the Acura dealership where the mechanic noticed immediately that the starter looked "suspect". I asked what that meant and he said "not factory" or rebuilt. He said it also was not put in correctly. He had to tighten everything up. I would not write a bad review on a business unless they deserved because my husband is a business owner and I understand the importance of earning a living. However, I feel this place is taking advantage of people. Bring your car elsewhere.

I dropped off my jeep and left my key in the lock box with instructions for repair along with name and phone number. I needed a brake caliper replaced on my front right side of my jeep. I never received a phone call, so at 3PM I called and inquired. They didnt even know my vehicle was there but entered my info and promised a call back in a few minutes. They never called back so the next day at 12:00 Noon I went by to discuss. They informed me that both front tires were bad and needed new brake calipers, new brake pads and new rotors. I had just had a complete brake overhaul done 9 months earlier in another state with new rotors, new pads and new calipers. Bottom line all I need was a new caliper on the right side and the pads could be replaced but they were not worn significantly. This business was planning to take advantage of me in a huge way- very very dishonest and unprofessional. I took my keys back and had it repaired at another shop.... YES I only needed a new caliper, exactly as I thought!

Riverside is my go to mechanic. I first used them a year ago for transmission work. I called around to about 6 other mechanics that came recommended to me. Riverside gave me a quote over the phone and instantly. Many of the other mechanics said I needed to bring in the car in to get a quote, some took a while to return phone calls, others didnt respond at all. Riverside Auto Care was upfront about their pricing the first time I called and in the end they were also the least expensive. The second time I brought my car in for brake pad replacements. The price was reasonable (this time I didnt call around to price them) and I waited with my kids in the waiting room while the work was done. The waiting room is very clean and they offer coffee and tv. I would not hesitate to recommend Riverside Auto Care to my friends and family.

A few weeks ago my car AC stopped working. Rich diagnosed the problem pretty quickly and gave me an estimate. He told me that it would be hard to beat, but I checked with a few other shops anyway. He was right, they were a couple hundred dollars cheaper. I was glad to support a new business run by two local guys (Rich and Zak) and save some money in the process. They treated me fair and well, and were fun to deal with. While discussing an unrelated problem (excessive oil consumption), Zak suggested a $7 fix, which slowed down my oil consumption significantly. What a refreshing change, a mechanic who suggests a cheap easy fix instead of gouging me for an hour or more of labor. The next time something breaks, I know where Im bringing my car.

I had an AC problem. Previous shop (Performance Tire in Denham Springs) said I had a bad compressor and fan. It would cost roughly 2000 to fix. I went to Riverside per Auto Zones suggestion and they were shockingly honest and easy to do business with. The fan was unhooked. Riverside reconnected the fan and charged my ac to check for leaks. The problem ended up being a leaking discharge hose. I got everything fixed and an oil change for a very small fraction of what the other shop wanted to charge me for. I am a customer for life. These guys are honest and great to do business with.

I have had my AC fixed by Riverside in the Fall of 2013, runs great still and blows cold as ever. The work was done within a day, I went to morning classes and got my car back around 3. Competitively priced, way cheaper than other places and in my opinion, the work is superior. Ive had my oil changed in under 25 minutes the past 3 times Ive been. Always professional and courteous. I like how I can ask a question on Facebook and they guys will respond within the hour. I am a lifetime customer since getting my AC replaced and will advise friends and family to do the same.

I have had my car serviced here several times over the past two years and each time have received exceptional customer service. I will not bring my car anywhere else. The owner and mechanics are knowledgeable, honest and treat you with respect. They are genuine and dont just try to make a quick buck like many other places I have been in the past. As a woman I feel comfortable going here knowing they do great work and will not rip you off. Thank you guys for all that you do! Yall are hands down the best and if I could give you 10 stars I would!!!

Zak & Richard were referred by a friend as I needed a timing belt change on a Volvo. I had several estimates including one from Volvo and these guys were much less expensive. Their oil changes are much cheaper as well. I have since purchased a new Honda for my daughter and will only take it to Riverside for oil changes. These guys are VERY honest and will not gouge you. They are very knowledgeable as well.

JOSH is a lifesaver. I called at 5:50 (they close at 6) because I broke down 2 hours away from home, nearby their shop. He agreed to look at it and stayed 40 minutes after closing to fix my car! He was very knowledgeable and could tell exactly what was wrong in literally one minute. Luckily it was something quick to fix. He gave me an amazingly affordable price as well. Very thankful and impressed!

Ive used Riverside for oil changes, new tires and to get a squeaky belt fixed. They are fast, courteous and fair. I will continue to patronize this business and you should, too! Im so grateful to finally have found a mechanic I can trust with my kids car so I know theyre safe on the road. My co-workers are also using Riverside for brakes, tires and maintenance and we are all happy and satisfied!
