If I could rate this service center in the negatives, they would receive a negative 10. I have called twice to UPS corporate office to complain about my terrible experiences there and was guaranteed each time that I would receive a call from the manager of that center by the end of those days and I have never heard from anyone. The woman that works the front counter has got to be one of the rudest, slow and incompetent person that they could possibly find to work in customer service. I have been unfortunate enough to have to pick up packages there at least 6 times and I have NEVER been in and out of there in less than 35 minutes. To add to that, there has also never been more than 3 other customers in there and still the wait is unbelievable! 2 out of the 6 times Ive been there I have witnesses this same woman complete a package transaction for an employee before handling the customers in front of the counter. The last time I went (because I refuse to go now, I now send an employee) this woman made myself and another customer wait over 20 extra minutes because the man in front of us didnt know he had to fill out some paperwork so she gives him the paperwork, he gets on the phone and then goes to his vehicle and sits while filling out his paperwork and this lady seriously made us wait until he was completely finished with his call and papers to take him before us. ON TOP OF THAT, then she went to locate his packages (over 15 of them, so much that they needed a cart) and then stood outside with him and took her break and had a nice little chat with him while we were all still waiting inside. ICING ON THE CAKE: After finally finishing with this man, she comes in (at this point there are probably 7 total customers waiting) looks at all of us pissed customers, rolls her eyes and tells us that she "may or may not be getting to us" because "she aint about to work during her lunch break, oh no." By far, Port Allen UPS has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and that says a lot considering I still deal with Popeyes on the regular.

Horrible service, or should I say, "Lack of Service". My package (a small box with a needed phone) was to be delivered Thursday and was is Port Allen at 6am (only a few miles to my location). The package (phone) was not delivered and I did not get the notification till 6:30 PM that my package (phone) will not be delivered, due to "The situation". The streets are not currently flooded, and I could get the package myself if I were told they were unable to deliver it. I called and emailed customer service and promised it would be delivered Friday, once again, it was not delivered and I did not get a notification until 6pm. I called customer service at 7pm (on hold for 24 min), after gutting a house all day and asked if I could get the package (my much needed phone) and they said the facility is closed. The hours say UPS does not close till 9pm. Not to mention they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Leaving me without a phone until Monday. I asked to speak to a Manager to see if someone can open the location or assist in some way. They as another customer said did not want to let me talk to a Manager. They put me on hold for another 12 minutes without a Manager. I did as they figured I would. I finally hung up. I called AT&T to see if they could help the situation. They did the best they could by giving $25/day the phone is not delayed. Once again, others dealing with UPSs incompetence. They need to stop blaming this on the situation in Baton Rouge with the floods, because I can easily get the package myself, they have had complaints about the same issue I am having, and USPS is delivering packages without a delay. Update Monday (5 days late for next day air delivery)...No package although at 01:23am and 7:18pm the message stated "On Vehicle for Delivery", no update from UPS. I have to continue to check. At 9:04pm the same LIE since last week..."Adverse weather may cause delay, scheduled delivery date:unavailable"

Have had major problems with this location for YEARS. Drivers are notorious for not delivering packages and will sometimes even mark them on tracking as delivered when they havent been then the package miraculously shows up two business days later. One driver liked to leave my packages at an address halfway up the street because I lived on a street with a cul-de-sac and they didnt want to deal with it. Endless moments of getting those "you werent home" notices on my door when my car was in the driveway and I was home, but no one knocked. Office staff isnt even remotely helpful, lies to you, and tries to blame you or tells you to take it up with the person/company who shipped that package through them. Currently Im waiting on a package that should have arrived on a Wednesday but never came. As of this review its Saturday. The tracking never updated from the original delivery date but the tracking tool on the UPS site just keeps updating the "scheduled delivery date" to the next UPS business day. This location is a disgrace and their drivers have no respect. Ive had many sit in their truck and literally throw my package towards my front door so they dont have to bother getting out their seat. I realize I am on the outer edge of Baton Rouge toward Prairieville/Gonzales and Im probably the last stop of the day for these guys but that should be no excuse to skip my delivery, lie about my packages being delivered, delivering them to the wrong address, or just letting the guy scheduled for the next day to handle it. YEARS I have been dealing with this, Im talking close to a decade. Its not recent, its not just one or two incidents. I dread when sellers go through UPS for my orders because I know I end up dealing with this location and Im up a creek.

Because of the recent floods, I am trying to be understanded about how it has effected the UPS drivers ability to getting my package delivered on time. Its been 4 days, and UPS is lying about not being able to reach my home because of the recent floods. We were fortunate enough to not get ANY flooding in my neighborhood and the surrounding areas, but the driver couldnt get to us because of severe weather.... I even seen several UPS near by my neighborhood But the FedEX and USPS can still delivering here every day.... Update: I got another notification Friday before noon saying that my package was once again delayed because of severe weather, which at this point, the excuse is redundant. I called the customer service center, and they said that I could pick up the package myself that same evening, saying that the package was returned to the Port Allen location. So i drove across the bridge. When i get there, the ladies there said that they dont know where my package is, and that it was still on a trailer. And that they would notify me (again) when its ready for pick up. So Before I get back home, I get another notification saying that my package is ready to pick up. I called customer service to make for sure that I can pick it up, they said I could pick it up at my earliest convenience. I returned to the Port Allen location (traffic again) to get there to find out that they are closed early. No sign, reason, or anything. The package will be a week late, assuming I can pick it up Monday morning. My little girl wont have her birthday present from mommy this Sunday, and I imagine that I will be more upset about that than she will.
