STAY AWAY STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY So my story goes a little like this I rented the shed from Edwards on October 7th I put my things in the shed that day. after it took them 3 hours to get a maintenance man to clean the shed out. and went on my way as I was moving between addresses I went back in on Wednesday the 11th to grab some winter clothes out such as my coat etc I stopped in to the office to inquire if a bill had been sent or not so that I could give her my forwarding address she stated that because of the volume of storage units that they do not send a bill that it is just due on the 1st I guess that it was my fault that I did not read the lease word for word as these particular types of businesses tend to be a little shady after reading the lease and being upset about what I read I went back to my shed to clean it out on Friday the 13th and wouldnt you know it there was a double lock on my shed keep in mind that I paid them $90 for the shed and a $90 security deposit so at that point I have given them $180 and in just over a month they put a lock on my head stating that there was a 10 day grace period to pay the bill. Now at this point I can understand a late fee for not paying my bill on time but to put a double lock on my head to hold my personal items hostage until they receive their money lights a fire under my ass as big as the fire after a nuclear explosion no I would be surprised if my comment even get allowed on this website but I would like to inform everyone to make sure you read their shady lease very carefully because if you do not have your bill paid on the due date they give you 10 days before they lock up your personal items at this point I I called and informed them that I would no longer be in need of their services and after I came down to pay the bill I would be removing all of my items from the storage shed and it was at that time I was told that I needed to give them a 15 day notice in writing I said on the phone I am giving you 15 days notice right now on the phone and she said that it would need to be 15 days via email or a personal letter so I would advise anyone who is reading this to choose another company these people have shady business practices, and I truly wish than I would have came on the internet before I rented a storage shed to see that they have such a poor rating with the public it is a shame that a business such as Edwards is still in business but Im sure that they are well connected to the business thats next door to their main office and if anyone is from lacrosse they know who Im talking about and as anybody was from the cross nose that particular business is as shady as shady gets but in order to avoid slender I cannot name them however the atrocity that theyve done to their parking lot tells you what kind of business they are. So if I have advice for anyone reading this it would be to stay as far away from Edwards investments as you possibly can do not give this business your business as it keeps them in business to screw over the next bunch of people

I paid the deposit and rent for my son to rent a storage unit. He used the unit for 2 months, I gave the appropriate notice, he swept the unit and moved his possessions out. I called several times regarding the deposit and I was told it was in the mail, his lock was still on the unit or they couldnt speak to me about it. We jumped through every hoop they put up and still no security deposit. Finally, after threatening to file a complaint with the better business bureau and small claims court, we received the deposit. They kept $15 with no explanation and the check was dated 9/17 and I didnt receive it till 10/8. My son is a college student and I believe that if I hadnt hounded them, they would have kept the deposit. I think they scam students. Plan early and go someplace else.

We gave them their required 15 day Written notice. We cleaned the unit out on 06/25/15 and took the lock with us. Now theyre claiming that the unit still had a lock on it and that there was still stuff in there. We even went as far as to SWEEP out the unit. Theyre refusing to give us our security deposit back. We have pictures with the date we cleaned the unit and of the lock that we took with us. Do Not Use Edwards!!!! They will rip you off and LIE about it.

I rent a storage unit from Edwards Mini Storage. Everyone I have dealt with at their office has been extremely professional and nice. They went over the lease with me and explained everything perfectly. They have many locations so I was able to choose a unit that was most convenient for me. The storage facilities are always well maintained and clean. I would highly recommend Edwards Mini Storage to everyone!!!

I have been renting a storage unit for the past 3 or 4 years and have no problems with them. I even switched units when my husband and I divorced and I was given the refund for the first unit back immediately and they were very helpful in getting the first account out of my name and getting me set up with a second unit. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. Thanks for your wonderful service!

Do not put anything In the "temp controlled" units on hwy 16. Old dog kennel underneath house. I had stored everything from my apt for 2 months. Everything is full of mold due to leak in the units. I wont be the only one unhappy. As soon as they discover standing water and mold over everything, they will be shocked. Renters insurance does not cover any of it.

STAY AWAY!! HORRIBLE PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH!! Purchased 5 units at storage auction and they gave me 48 hours to empty them all while a blizzard was thrown into the forecast. We got 8 inches of snow on a Sunday and on Monday one of my 5 was already locked up by them.. Wouldnt give extra time to clean out. Ill never do business with them again..

Dont use this service. I had a unit in Winona and they took my security deposit and charged me for two extra months after all of my stuff was moved out. I gave them my written notice when I signed the lease so they knew Id be out on time. The ladies in the office were not nice nor helpful to me.

Impossible to work with. Unreliable. Will NOT give your deposit back. Worst business ever. I would have rather left my items in a moldy garage. Atleast the garage wouldnt have taken my deposit.

No security cameras, no security. They had four units broken into in Galesville recently. If you value your stuff stay away and find more secure storage units. EDWARDS SUCKS!!!
