I was in town for a wedding and called to see if a friend and I could come in for quick up-dos (all we got were simple buns). I was told to come in at noon, even though I said that we had to leave by 1pm, and that the price was $25 and up. When we showed up they were shocked that there were two of us, and the stylist, Michele, said shed do what she could. After 90 minutes we were done, and it looked OK, but I could have done it myself, and we were literally running out the door. Michele told us it was going to be $75 EACH. We told her that was ridiculous, but we had zero time to fight with her, we left and paid. Twenty minutes later both of our hair fell, and we had to pin it back up ourselves. The next day I called to see if I could get a refund (I paid for both), and was told I had to come into the salon so they could refund my credit card (who has ever heard of that?? Dont they have the internet??) Thankfully, I had JUST enough time to come back in before my flight. Shelly, the manager, offered to refund $80 of the $150. I argued that I should pay only the amount told to me over the phone ($25), considering the quality of the service, the ineptness of the staff, and the fact that I had to come in and risk being late for my flight. She disagreed, but again I had no time. The staff was rude, lazy, and tried to screw me and my friend over. Furthermore, I was very unimpressed with the cleanliness of the facility. The stylist repeatedly dropped combs on the floor, then used them again, and brushed my hair out with a brush that had someone elses hair in it. Ew! Stay away!!!!!!

Sorry for those of you who have a bad outcome. Most of the customers seem happy and there is usually a wait on the weekends which should say something, no???. Valerie is gal that cuts my hair and I have been a faithful customer for over a year now. And I am as Valerie tells me all the time "high maintence"!!!! If you are looking for a trendy, over styled and over priced doo, this isnt the place for you. There are plenty of those places in Annapolis that will take your money! If you want a nice cut at a great place visit this Hair Cuttery!!!!!

By going to Hair Cuttery you know youll get what you pay for...but even by Hair Cuttery standards the one at the Harbour Center is really, really bad. I just received the worst haircut of my life by the most apathetic woman ever. She rushed through the entire cut and kicked me out of the chair without offering to dry or use product. Once I got home and dried my own hair, I realized what she had done. Absolutely horrendous.

After trying almost every salon in Anne Arundel at every price point, it is my opinion this location is the best so far. The new manager and staff is very friendly. Lauren has consistently cut my hair several times with skill and focus. Im from the Philadelphia area and it was a challenge locating a stylist who knows how to maintain short hair with an artsy flair.

Ive had great haircuts, good haircuts, and an occasional, "The stylist got carried away" haircuts at this outlet. There are some stylists who are artisans, proud of their work and intent on excellence. There are some who are not. I recommend that unless you know the stylist, assume nothing, and be sure that you communicate exactly what you want from them.

My stylist was Ariana and she was very friendly and gave me a simple good cut which was just what I asked for. I had to wait about 20 minutes which was not a problem since there are many shops near by and I had time to go out and look for shoes.

Lauren is absolutely fabulous! Greatest customer service and actually listens to what youd like done. The price is great and service is better than MANY high end places ive gone too. Genuinely, I highly recommend this place.

The Hair Cuttery in Annapolis is just lovely! The ladies who work there are very cheerful and friendly. I brought a photo along and my stylist was able to give me just the haircut I requested. Ill be visiting here again!

Fast service, friendly people, and Trish(y) did a great job with hair. Despite the further commute, I will be going to this location in the future; its worth the extra drive.

They couldnt get a clipper cut right on my son, left long hair everywhere, never offered the shampoo, didnt clean him up. Never again!
