Before 3/28/16 my Navien Tankless Water heater stopped making hot water & required a reset (once every 2 to 3 weeks) 3/28/16 Hedler performed maintenance and replaced Flame Rod & Flow Sensor After 3/28 to 4/20/16 water temperature varied and heater needed to be reset once every 1 or 2 days 4/20/16 Heidler said that this was a new error code and replaced Air Pressure Sensor, Gas Pressure Sensor, and hoses 4/20/16 to date – water heater needs to be reset almost each time we want to use hot water 4/25/16 Heidler came back and checked gas pressure and air intake. They then asked us to document each time the system went off. 5/3/16 Heidler replaced gas regulator and after this did not fix the problem they said that Navien recommended replacing a gas valve 5/4/16 Steve Heidler recommended replacing the unit instead of the gas valve. He would discount the work from $4,200 to $3,000. The unit they recommended costs less than $1,800 with sales tax and not including a plumber’s discount. If they held a gun to our head for this it would be called robbery, Heidler calls it Customer Satisfaction. I talked with Steve Heidler. He takes no responsibility for the number of trips, the dollars charged or the fact that Heidler did not fix the problem. He blames Navien.

Heidler Inc. is now my "Go-To-Guy" for all plumbing needs. I had a botched steam pipe job from a contractor who had assured me that their guy knew what he was doing. After a few years of trying to get it straightened out, lots of finger pointing, and several really high estimates from other "experts", I chose Heidler for several reasons. They really do know steam heat systems. They always answer their phones. They always return calls. They give a written detailed estimate. Their prices are fair. Their plumber shows up when they say they will. They do the job as promised. Theyre FAST! They fixed my botched steam pipe job and now the north wing of the house is heating as it should. Ive hired them back to do several large and smaller jobs such as install a water softener, move pipes, add fixtures... I must say that its great to have a reliable plumber that shows up when they say they will, finishes a job quickly, does it right the first time, and when you get the bill, there are no surprises. Thank you Heidler!!!

I had used Heidler in the past and couldnt have been more pleased with them. They came to my new home and told me it would be $79 and then an additional cost if more needed to be done. The guy took literally less than 5 minutes to look at my disposal (did not pull it apart), told me it needed to be replaced and that he was charging me a min of $68 because he diagnosed that. I called to ask them about pricing while he was there and they said that it was only the $79. When I said I felt like I was being taken advantage of (with an f bomb, in all fairness) they put me to customer service. They defended their employee, who they had already admitted was wrong. I feel completely taken advantage of and there was no apology. If you go with them, dont count on the customer being treated as if they are "right" even though theyve already been told they are. Completely disappointed.

I loved my Rep that came out. Very pleasant and quick response I give the company a 10 for the response and attitude of their tech. The problem I have is that I paid for emergency service the tech came out and could not fix it and left me a huge bill. When I called to get a tech out during the week ahead they said I could not get a tech till Wednesday the next week. I have been in my house now during a very hot spell sweltering along with my poor car and dog because I have to wait till next week. It seems unfair to charge me so much and I am in the same place I was last Saturday when I paid emergency prices to get my cooling fixed. Almost 400.00. I am a single parent that is tough pricing for no result.

Honest and Trustworthy. We were having an issue and thought we were going to have to get 24 hour plumbing service out here. We called three companies to get prices and Heidler was so helpful. I spoke with Chuck who told me to call Anne Arundel County First as it may he a county issue (none of the other companies told us that). He said the county would come out and check out line. He even gave us the number. Sure enough, it was in fact a county issue. He saved us a ton money. Its extremely difficult to find people like that and we are extremely grateful. We put their info on our fridge and will recommend them to our friends and family as well. THANK YOU!!!

I called Heidler about a back up in our main bathroom. Our ceiling in our basement had begun to leak and as this had happened before leading to a partially flooded basement, I was very nervous and needed help fast! Dave responded to my emergency service call and he was patient with me as I explained the problem and looked through old receipts to see what had been done before. He suggested I call the City of Annapolis as it sounded like a city issue and they could snake our clean out. He was absolutely correct!! Heidler is about TRUE customer service. Even though we didnt use them this time, they are our only call in the future. Thank you!!

Plumber spent an inordinate amount of time diagnosing the source of a leak within the wall. When performing repairs in a tight area under the sink, he actually jostled some piping that had never had any issues under the sink. He then claimed that the piping under the sink was leaking and charged me an additional $124.99 to put in a new P-trap. As I said, this part of the plumbing was perfectly fine before he started maneuvering around under the sink. They now refuse to issue me credit. The people there have been very curt and unpleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend any other plumber.

I needed 3 plumbing jobs done in my home. Install a new bathroom faucet set, remove and replace a toilet seat on which the nuts had rusted, and snake out a slow emptying bathroom shower. A young plumber named Bruce came to do the repairs. I must say that these jobs were done perfectly and in a timely manner. Bruce was obviously highly experienced, and had all the tools necessary to do the work. I was especially impressed with how polite Bruce was and how clean he left his work areas. Bad Plumbers. In 2009, I installed, at their recommendation, a Navien Tankless water heater. I had used tankless in Europe and never had a problem. In 2016, after 4 service calls, the heat exchanger went out and water leakage caused 3 other parts to fail. Although the exchanger was still under warranty, it would have cost me an additional 1,500 to fix. In addition, the toilet fix lasted one flush, and the 2 outdoors faucets were placed so close to the siding that my hose adapters wont fit.
