I would recommend to stay away! Ive been there twice and the first time I called in because I didnt get back all my items, and the woman was defensive and accused me of losing the item rather than trying to figure out the problem. She was on the defense immediately. Ok, I let that slide, I get it. I go back, this time I drop off my favorite shirt to get cleaned and when I pick it up, it had the same stains on it and it was striped, so the color was bled unto the white. I was pissed but kept my composure and asked her to re-clean it. #1, I shouldnt have to ask to have something re-cleaned - its the freaking cleaners! From the batch I recently picked up, I get dressed after the gym, get to work, look down and see the exact same soil on my slacks that I brought it there for. SMH. Never again. Im going out of the neighborhood to try Zips. The 2 cleaners in Mt. Vernon SUCK!!!!!!! Update 2/21. I picked up my last drop off about a week ago and this morning discovered I have someone elses clothes. This is ridiculous. Additionally, I had to leave my favorite 11 year old button up shirt (which looks brand new because I value and take care of my clothes) last time to get re cleaned, picked it up last Thurs and it was ruined. They bled the striped color unto the white even worse. Shall I say again? STAY AWAY unless you want lose clothing or have it destroyed.

This is a great dry cleaners! They were recommended to me by a friend two years ago, and I have used them ever since. My clothes (suit coats and pants, tuxedos, and tails) have always come back clean and perfect. They seem to do their work in-house, rather than shipping everything off to another location, which is a plus for any dry cleaners. The workers are pleasant, albeit businesslike. Ive never asked them for alterations so I cant comment on that, but they have done an excellent job cleaning all of my garments. It is nice they are open until 7 PM, and they have been willing to get the clothes back to me quickly when necessary (without sacrificing any quality). Im not sure why some have given negative reviews--in two years, Ive had nothing but great experiences with them, and they do a better job than the place I used to go to!

Rude, ruined multiple shirts, horrible dry cleaners. They ruined multiple shirts and a lot of the times I got them back with stains that were not there when I dropped them off. One shirt came back with the whole back dyed pink and they tried to claim I did it. I dropped off a new white shirt to be washed and ironed and it came back with dirt over it. They are right behind my house but instead I now take my clothes to federal hill which is more expensive and a pain to get to because of how awful this place is.

They supposedly repaired my coat pocket that had a hole... 2 weeks later the pocket reopened... went back to get it redone - "we dont remember you - our records dont show the repair" really?! wow - same woman who i dealt with the whole time - poor service and bad memories also they STOLE material from the inside of my winter coat... didnt think i would notice - however i did - thanks for destroying my $400 peacoat

Great service as promised! I always get great service in dry cleanings and alterations. I brought 3 pairs of suits to be side taken in. Their price was low and the owner gave me an additional discount! How great! It is the best cleaners in Mt. Vernon area.

If you want your clothes cleaned and pressed here; fine. However, if you want alterations of any kind... dont even think about it. Absolutely ruined an $800 suit jacket of mine by cutting way too much fabric out of it. Never again.
