I spent over 3 months looking for just the right used vehicle (BMW X5 Diesel). I finally found one at Jim Coleman that was competitively priced and sent an internet query about it. I got a quick response and then a follow up call from William Hoyas. I made an appointment to go in and take a look at the vehicle. I got there early (forgot I was going cross traffic) but William made himself available pretty quickly. We discussed the X5 for quite a while before I even did the test drive. Turned out he has a couple of BMWs and was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about them. Lots of useful info! He was definitely a car enthusiast and was obviously really, really well informed on way more than just the BMWs. I would ask for him again if I went back for sure. I also talked to one of the finance guys that night (dont remember the name) because I was considering an extended warrantee. Normally these guys make me feel like I need to keep one hand on my wallet, but NOT at all with him and we had a great, low key, conversation and he gave me a lot of insight into the ins and outs of the extended warrantees. Again, very useful. Test drive was good so next step for me was to have my own mechanic go over it. That was no problem for Jim Coleman and they let me take it home that night and to my mechanic the next day. Got a really good report on the vehicle with 2 very minor items (weak mirror motor, and tread on one tire kind of close to limit). I went back to seal the deal, but on the way back an engine light came on. I got there and they checked it out. Something with the emissions system. It cleared, but I was a bit hesitant at that point. I brought up the 2 issues from my mechanic and they worked with me a bit on the price to offset the issues so I could have my own mechanic do it instead of having to go out to Rockville again (long haul for me). For peace of mind on the emission check light, the manager wrote up a specific guarantee that they would cover it if it came back. We sealed the deal and I went back to finance to compete the paperwork. I didnt like the other finance guy as much as the first one, but he did not give me those awful vibes they usually do either. It was quick and easy and I was on my way. William called a few days later to check on how the vehicle was treating me and my satisfaction. Definitely good customer service and experience! Now we get to the part that really tells all. That emission check light DID come back on the next week. My mechanic checked it out, and it was just a stuck EGR valve. They spoke to the manager Patrick Coleman, and true to his word they handled the issue without complaint or issue! Hands down, this was the best car buying experience I have ever had! Kudos to Jim Coleman Toyota, William Hoyas and Patrick Coleman. I would definitely go back to them or send a friend there! Garrison

I came to Jim Coleman Toyota with a set budget and a specific car in mind (had done lots of prior research). I talked to Martin on the phone, who assured me the car was still available and urged me to come right in and see it. When I arrived, Luis, met me at the door and took me right to "my car", a silver RAV4. During the test drive, Luis answered my questions but didnt push me and when we returned to the dealership he patiently showed me everything on the interior and exterior of the car. He also showed me the Carfax and walked me through the maintenance history. Throughout the process, I was never pressured to buy a more expensive car (as several other dealers have done) nor did I ever sense that Luis was pushing me to "close a deal" or "meet a quota". In addition, several other salesman stopped by to check in, joke around a bit, and make sure Luis was treating me right! Very friendly, welcoming, and low pressure experience. Next, we went to Martin, the sales manager to finalize the deal. Again, no pressure and all my concerns were covered. They even agreed to take my beloved Honda Accord (sniff, sniff) as a trade in and gave me a fair price. Finally, after the sale was complete, there were a few small issues with the car that needed to be resolved (a scratch I wanted buffed out and a stubborn air pressure warning light). When I returned to the dealership - even thought the sale was already finalized and they had my money - everyone was still so friendly, greeted me warmly, and didnt rest until I was completely satisfied. Special thanks to Jay in service, as well!(Since I purchased my car, I have searched repeatedly on multiple car sites and I have never found my model with that low a mileage at anywhere near that price. Cant believe the deal I got and I LOVE my car!) Cant say enough good things about this place. If you want friendly service, no sales pressure, a great price, and a quality car backed by a dedicated service team - go to Jim Coleman Toyota!

AMAZING My wife and I have less than optimal credit, and we had been to several places that touted themselves in television commercials as being helpful in situations like ours. Those other places were not helpful in the least, and left us feeling disrespected and tricked. Did they act all buddy buddy? Sure, but they didnt keep their word about the purchase. They were pure bait and switch. We were jaded by the time we came to Jim Coleman. We were pleasantly surprised. Harald, Daniel and everyone at Jim Coleman Toyota were nice from the inside out; they dont wear friendliness like a costume, it was genuine respect. We spent a good deal of time discussing our circumstances and options with Harald (as we had done before) over the phone, email and text before going in. We were stunned by how honest and forthcoming finance manager Harald was; and our salesman Daniel was knowledgeable, extremely professional and courteous at all times. Even while we were waiting for the car to be detailed prior to taking possession, Daniel generously satisfied my childrens curiosity about the electric cars and Scion iQ, although they were quite out of our price range. Harald and Daniel stuck by the original bargain and didnt try to find any last minute excuses for substantial increases to our monthly payment or embarrass us into a deal we knew we couldnt afford. No one tried any scam like "the payments are high now, but after 6 months, you can refinance." By the way, has any credit-challenged car buyer ever succeeded in getting that mythical refi? If its not in the written contract, the lender has no obligation or incentive to do it. Every person we dealt with or even glimpsed at Jim Coleman Toyota clearly demonstrated commitment to service as well. I have found an ethical used car dealer, against all hope and stereotype, and I will tell everyone I can how great they were. My family and I will never go anywhere else.

I am very impressed by the people and the service they provide. You would never assume how a salesman in a dealership could be honest with you. But my salesman, Larry Pang, is a great guy. After I told him my considerations and needs of a new car, he helped me go through the type of the cars, the options one by one to make sure I get what I really need. He has been working for the same dealer for 16 years. From my prior experience of car shopping, I seldom heard a salesperson worked for the same dealer over 16 months (maybe is just me). And couple others in there also worked for them for a long time, like 10 or 11 years. That means something. Also, another staff, Brian, who delivered my car. He is knowledgeable of cars and with a lot patience. At the time he delivered my car is close to 9pm. The shop was almost closed. Only him and I were in the parking lot, sitting in the car. He went through every function of my new car with me, from the lights, to swiper, to set up radio, to read the indicators, gave me a lot recommendations on how to drive the car in a snow or off-road situation. At the end, he said:” Let me set up the clock for you, do you like couple minutes fast or just exact?" I was shocked at that moment. I bought 3 cars before from various dealers. Normally, other dealers delivered the key, parked the car outside and wished me a good lucky with a professional smile, then left myself there alone to try to figure out the set up process. And, this was 20 past 9pm, Brian could leave me there and went home. I would not complain about it at all. While, he even offered to set my clock up. Thats impressive. Last night, I drove the car back home. Feel like being an old friend for a long time since I know every part of it, :). I am so happy that I chose this dealer to get my new car. Also, they have very reasonable price. With this high quality service they provide, I do not mind even pay more.
