Today I called and discussed an issue that I was seeking an estimate on. It was the second time I called them on the same issue and I wanted to make sure it was still OK for a walk in appointment. I bought a replacement mirror and wanted them to paint it. She informed me that was not an issue but that the part would not be covered by any warranty to which I told her that was fine. She told to me to bring the part and the car. I also wanted to discuss some further paint work on the car. So my wife and I stopped by and the receptionist said that she had to check with the owner. She returned and said that they did not do that type of work and were 4 to 6 weeks behind. I replied it was for an estimate and that I was very flexible time wise. She said that the owner was not interested unless "they sold me the part." Naturally I asked as to why have me come down then, to which she seemed clueless. I had previously taken my 2012 Charger for some insurance work and though it took 2 times to get right I figured I would try them again. My mistake. I know it is minor work but why tell me to bring the part and the car in and then turn right around and tell me "not interested". I get being busy but when I walked in to the place there were 4 people sitting around, 1 was eating a subway and the others were just "there"...too busy for an estimate? Sure. I told the receptionist that I would pass this experience along....plenty of other companies who are looking for work and as one who will be looking for someone to paint some of my project cars I promise you it wont be by Mt. Airy Collision Center.....

I took my 2009 Mazda 3 here after its front bumper, driver-side fender, and driver-side headlight were damaged by another driver in a parking lot. Even though the shop had to order new parts to replace the damaged ones, they still had the repair done in a week (and this was during what looked to be one of their busiest times of the year). The shop worked flawlessly with the other drivers insurance company and minimized the effort on my end. They were easy to communicate with via telephone and email, and they kept me updated on the progress of my car throughout the repair process. Tina was a pleasure to work with. My car came out of the shop looking like new. They even washed all the crusted-on road salt off of it and cleaned my hub caps (which, honestly, I hadnt bothered to seriously clean since I bought the car nearly 6 years ago, short of spraying them with a hose every once in a while). Id like to thank the shop for the awesome job they did. While I hope I dont need to visit them again, its good to know I have such a reliable, local place to get my car repaired.

This is a family owned auto body repair shop that truly cares about their customers. I have brought many vehicles to them over the years without issue. All jobs were completed in a professional manner with beautiful results. I would trust them with any make and model of car. We had an issue with the computer system being reset by Volvo and they tried to blame the shop which had never worked on that part. Tom took care of the matter and me as his loyal customer. Thank you Tom! You have all of our business. I trust you and your team! The Volvo door looks fabulous by the way!!

Mt. Airy Collision Center has to be the best in Maryland! I have been to many collision centers but none live up to this one. The center is very clean and welcoming; the staff was very friendly. I went in to get a damaged spoiler replaced and it was quick and easy. The owners Tom & Marsha Gibney explained the process to me on how it would work and the time frame. Everything was just as they described and the work was impeccable. I would highly recommend them to everyone I know!!!

Great work! After I had a noise coming from one of the replaced parts they recommend I go see BMF in eldersburg to diagnose the problem and verify it was caused by their work. I also found my new auto maintenance place thanks for the recommendation.
