Siempre vale la pena viajar hasta Lains aunque ahora vivo en NoVA porque es el único lugar donde siento 100% segura que el precio y la diagnosis son honestos. Siempre me avisan de todo que devo areglar y que deve ser prioridad. Siempre trabajan rápido y me contactan en cada paso para mantenerme informada. Gracias Lains por un servicio en que confío mucho!! Its always worth it to make the trip to Lains even though I moved to NoVA because its the only place Ive ever felt 100% sure the price and diagnosis are honest. They always tell me everything I should fix and what should be a priority. They always work fax and keep me informed at every step. Thank you Lains for a service I trust so much!!

Our family takes all five of our vehicles to Lains. Bryan is something very hard to find...an honest person and a master mechanic. He wont sell you things you dont need, and if they can wait a little while before you need to bear the expense he will tell you that as well. His prices are reasonable, and I am very glad that I found him. To the person that rated them a "1" because they werent open one Saturday when she came in, let me tell you that they work very hard in this shop and that would have been a major aberration. Ive taken cars there on many Saturdays. This isnt some big corporate store (which I love about them). It is a small business owned by a very hard-working person. Ive owned businesses for years. Occasionally, you get sick and someone cant cover, or you have a bona fide emergency. It happens to just about any small business. You give the impression that this shop is lackadaisical, and you couldnt be more wrong.

Car electrical problems can be a real pain. This month, Lains has worked on two cars for me that were acting up at the same time. The alternator on one of the cars needed to be replaced but it was in a position that required more extensive disassembling of front-end components than Lains was equipped to handle. They found a nearby garage for me that could complete the job that day. Fantastic! The other car had multiple problems. Step-by-step, Lains worked with me to get the car running. I was almost ready to junk the car but thanks to Lains expertise its still kickin! Besides the fact that they obviously know their stuff, I was impressed that my car problems became their car problems and they took pride in solving them. I do have one gripe: their daily hours of operation are short.

So - I actually went to Lains based on other Google Reviews. The place is clean and friendly. I had an electrical problem which my regular mechanic wouldnt touch on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Not only did Brian get me and out while I waited (1.5 hr), but he did so without having an appointment. Not only did he fix the problem (left rear tail-light and right rear turn signal being out), but he also showed me how the problem happened. And explained that its a known problem in Jeeps (go figure!). He also showed me how to fix it the next time it happens so that I DONT have to go back to the mechanic or Lains for the rather simple fix.

Recently moved to MD so I needed a new mechanic. I was told right before I moved that I needed to have my tie rods replaced. Just couldnt do it before I moved. I read reviews for numerous auto repair shops near my house and selected Lains. They let me know that I also needed the ball joints replaced. They were great keeping me informed about how long the repair would take. It wound up going into the next day, but they did finish before 9am the next morning. When I arrived to pick up my car, they showed me the parts that had been removed. I was happy with the service and would go back again.

The worst mechanics I have ever encounter. They charged me $100 to tell me that I needed a new transmission and they wanted another $100 to diagnose the engine because they took 3 hours to diagnose the transmission just to tell me that I needed a new transmission. I am sure they were going to tell me that I was going to need another engine too. This guys can not even read the codes in your car maybe they can but after 3 hours. Be warned this guys are worthless.

Ive taken two cars at two different times. Both times I received the best service and outstanding professionalism. I would recommend this place to anyone needing anything done to their car. I received my car back before the time quoted and at a cost much lower then I would have thought. I never once felt as if they were trying to get more out of me. If I were staying in this area I wouldnt allow anyone else to touch my car other then Lains.

Real life saver guys! Took my car to some local garage that I had been going to for awhile for some sort of electrical drain on the battery. After 4 days the shop didnt know what was wrong and told me to call Lains Auto Electric in College Park as this is what the specialized in. Dropped the car the next morning and it was done that day. Great customer service and the has been fine ever since. Thanks again guys!

I stopped by Lains Auto last Saturday (March 29, 2014) to get a quote on a mechanical repair. They were closed. Apparently the owner Brian had something more important to do. I checked the website the night before and the hours were listed as 7am - 2 pm. I was there around 11 am. If you are running your own business and want to take time off, hire a manager to run the business.

Great guys. Bryan and his guy Rob are doing an excellent job. I had an annoying hard to find electrical problem with my work van was looking for a car electrician, got to Lains Auto Services with all those good reviews it took them 10 minutes to find the problem and another 20 to fix it and i can say found my mechanic. professional honest affordable.

Hands down greatest experience with Ive ever had with a repair shop. Bryan is like Superman!!! Short handed for the day and still got me in and out same day. Definitely going to Lains for any thing I need done to my vehicle. And Im sending all my friends!
