I selected this location solely because of the reviews others provided since Im not from the Hyattsville area and needed a repair location close by. I spoke with one of the owners the day prior and provided the specific fuel system-related fault code with instructions to contact me before making ANY repairs once the issue was isolated since my young niece was dropping the car off. Without an assessment or test drive or isolation of the fault (PO171 - fuel system lean on Bank 1), the owner told her the exact price and that the car needed a tune up. When I learned of this from my niece, I called several times and left a message not to tune the car up since it had already had one and to call me ASAP. My call wasnt returned, but I finally got an answer two hours after she dropped the car off and the now irate owner claimed the tune up had been completed despite my specific instructions not to do any work before speaking with me. He supposedly "undid" the tune up after a lengthy argument where he finally admitted it was his fault. Nevertheless, this is the classic case of a repair shop attempting to take advantage of a young female by adding on unnecessary repair work. The car had a tune up within the past two years and was running absolutely fine despite the fault. No rough idle or anything that would allow the best mechanic to determine it needed a tune up simply by looking at the car sitting there. So, while the work done at this shop may be as great as other reviewers state, I certainly question its integrity.

Hai is the best and honest person I have met. I took my car to All Tunes in Glen Burnie for an estimate of an oil leakage for my 02 Acura TL. I was quoted for almost 1600.00. I thought that was cheap but I decided to get a second opinion. My friend introduced me to this Auto repair shop. I decided to give a try. I was told to leave my car here for throughout inspection though I did not like this idea. Hai called me back the next day and quoted me 400 dollars less for the same job. As a student, I was so happy with this price. I heartily recommend this shop to any one.

HONESTY, HONESTY, HONESTY. I was told by the shady Good Year Repair Shop on Bladensburg Rd. NE, near Ft. Lincoln that the problems on my car would cost $2300 to correct. I was going to trade my car in and get a new one. On a recommendation from a friend, I decided to get a second opinion at this establishment. Try $275 and this included an oil change!!! Workmanship is top notch, but I cannot stress it enough, their honesty is what will keep me coming back.

I think Hi Tech is great. Theyre good mechanics. They tell you what is going on. Theyve always been very honest with me, letting me know that something was or was not worth doing given the age of my car. And theyre reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Had a vehicle that wouldnt start, was prepared to pay a good bit to have it fixed. Simple alternator replacement did the trick. When you find an honest mechanic, would you ever take your car anywhere else? Thank you!

Hai is great and so is his service. He usually works on my car, but all of his employees do great jobs. I would refer him to anyone. Its hard to come across a great mechanic, and Im never letting this one go.
