All these reviews go back to more than 4 years... Like how is it still opened? I would also give this a zero if I had the chance. I called this post office, someone picked up and said hello. I greeted them and continued to talk about my concerns for calling. After I finished, there was a long pause. I said hello again a few times but no answer. So I decided to stay on the phone because I can clearly hear someone breathing. The waiting game lasted for more than 4 minutes... Until she pretended like she asked me to hold. I expressed my concerns again for a lost package and she cut me off being rude and gave me an invalid number to call to get me off the phone. I am absolutely disgusted by such behavior and this place need to be shut down. OR all the employees NEED to be replaced immediately... Oh and PS: I never give reviews. This is literally the first review Ive ever given. I truly felt like I needed to say something because I was extremely pissed.

AVOID THIS USPS OFFICE AT ALL COSTS!!!! Seriously F*** these aholes. They say that their lunch is from 1-2pm, but the lunch hours ALWAYS vary. Sometimes its 2-3pm, sometimes its 1:30-2:30, and sometimes, like today, its 12:30pm-2:30pm. Seriously, what the f***? I have a business to run and I need to mail stuff immediately. I dont have 2 and half hours to wait while they f*** around on their "lunch" break. The employees here are a bunch of lazy people who dont want to work. This branch needs to be shut down immediately. Im tired of coming at 12:30, only to realize I have to come back in 2 hours. Its a huge waste of my time to come back later in the day, and often, Im busy later in the day around 3pm.

I just had to deal with the worst post office clerk at this location. I took my 10 minutes to fill out the customer service survey to let the post office know how rude this clerk was. And yes, this person also took the lunch until 2:12 pm as noted by another reviewer. Im assuming the lunch hour lasts about an hour, but it is not announced on the website, so there were many people who had to wait for more than 30 minutes. When the clerk came back, there was no smile, no apology, just rudeness expressed towards customers. They need to do a better job in finding a better worker who understand common business courtesy.

i only did 1 star becuz wont let u do zero. fu**ing terrible !! what a joke, employees are rude, racist, unhelpful, SLOW, seemingly dont cair about their "jobs" or life.. 1st off: after doezens of times showing up here the place is closed for lunch break at any random given time they chose 2ed: they find any imaginary reason to refuse a package despite everything being done correctly & no other places have an issue with.. 3ed: multiple times packages from family & friends have been lost from here. this is last straw . why is this place even open ?? ? jus pathetic, close it down Usps

Its true that this location has very short hours, but they are posted online, so I cant really fault them for that. There was only one clerk when I went just after opening, but she was so super efficient that it might as well have been 3 people there. She worked at an inhuman speed and got me out in maybe a minute and a half, with my package on the way. I actually had to make her repeat some things since she talked as fast as she worked. This is only the second time Ive used the post office in the last few years, but I was pretty happy with the service.

Its a shame that the USPS is letting this one fall apart, because its a nice, large PO with plenty of PO Boxes in its long hall, a large counter, and an adequate set of supplies. The staff is nice and eager to help. They have a long counter with up to 5 spots to assist customers. This PO is directly across from the College Park Metro, and has a good-sized, free parking lot which is easy to maneuver. I much prefer this spot to the other College Park one, and it is far superior to the Riverdale main post office, the next-nearest PO.

They dont even deserve One star. 1st of all during the Christmas holiday, 2 packages were scanned as being placed in my box and were not. I reported it and Ms Terry( the supervisor?) was sooo unprofessional and of No assistance except relaying a message from the carrier. Really?? Then I had a representative from Consumer Affairs contact her with me on the line and she was unprofessional and Still doing the She said She said. Wow! An this is why we will NEVER be able to elevate as humans 1st and 2nd as a race...SMH

80 percent of the time i try to use this post offfice they are closed, right in the middle of their advertised "open" hours. this is either for their long and variable lunch or anytime from 3 to 4:30 when they decide to close early. ive had to beg my way in a couple of times when the woman was behind the counter during open hours but the door was locked. its worth going out of your way to avoid this branch

This offices working hour is so frustrating, it opens after 11am and closes before 4.30, this is not very convenient but I can live with that, however the lunch time always changes, 1pm? 2pm? Even 3pm. I had too many times came to the office during normal working hours and it is closed. Really frustrating. People who working here seem do not take it as a serious job.

Gave 1 star only because I cant give 0. Went to the post office yesterday at 1:50 and it was closed for lunch until 2, thats fine. But when I came back today at 2:20 sign said they were closed for lunch until 3? Not only are the operation hours of 11-4:30 horrible for anyone who works but these random and long lunch breaks make it very frustrating

The Post Office website and all signage on the door states that they are open. Unfortunately a "closed" sign is on the door stating a return of 2:12pm. Why is the post office closed? Scheduling issues should be taken care of so that people on their lunch break dont suffer from wasting time headed to a closed Post Office.

If I can give zero I will give zero with no doubt. This post office is awful. Open short hours and even 1 hour lunch break. Close earlier as they want. Even open, never see more any 2 casher no matter how long the line is. No place worse than hell until I found LOVE with this place. Sucks!

Unfriendly and unprofessional staff!! She didnt tell me rigistered mail was not avaiable for my mailing option but still made me purchase the extra service, costing $14!!!! I dont know how this place can still be opend now. This is a trap!!! So mean! I am so disappointed at USPS.

Ordered a package from Ebay and the shipping information said that it was out for delivery on Saturday. But they decided not to deliver it and they just sent me an email saying you can come and pick it up when we are open. DELIVER THE PACKAGE. ITS YOUR JOB YOU LAZY IDIOTS!
