I would give this post office site 0 stars if I could. This is 100% due to Pam, a very rude, elderly clerk that processed my passport application. I called twice to set up an appointment, and on the website it says they do passport apps Monday-Friday 10-3 pm. Im off work Tuesdays, so I asked to schedule one then. The person on the phone had a disgusting attitude when I sounded surprised that she said they dont do passport apps on Tuesdays. Well excuse me for believing your website! I set up an appointment on a Friday in August at 1:20 pm for my passport. I showed up at 1:10, only to have to wait in line for 10 minutes to go up to the desk because they dont have a designated passport person/area to go. When I finally get up to the front, the Asian gentleman said he couldnt help me and Id have to wait for the woman next to him to finish processing a package. 5 minutes later (while Im still standing in front of them at the counter) the woman says to me "You have to wait for the lady that does the passports, she gets off lunch at 1:30." Please tell me, WHAT is the point of an appointment if I have to go through all this?! I have my own job to get to. She comes waddling up to the counter at 1:35, 25 minutes after I set foot in the building. Not polite at all, she starts barraging me with questions and snatches everything I have in my hand, making copies then throwing the originals back to me. I have never applied for a passport before, so I did as much research as I could beforehand. First thing she says, my photo has to have a white background. She went on and on about how "you need to go get your money back from whoever did this photo, is is completely wrong." I politely point out on the application that off-white is in fact acceptable. She turned to her co-worker to verify this, and when her co-worker agreed with me, Pam got very flustered and said "Well it looks yellow, and its too close to your face! Your ears arent showing. Theyre going to reject it." So she forced me to pay $15 to take a NEW photo, on the spot. I questioned the ears requirement, because I didnt see anything on the application about it but her co-worker said it was true. So I unhappily obliged, having wasted money on getting mine done prior. When it came time to pay, she very rudely told me I couldnt pay with a credit card, that it had to be check or cash. I admitted fault, quickly skimming the payment section on the passport application and seeing the words "credit cards". I left all my paperwork/photos and went home to get my check book. I was already way too late for work so I called and asked if I could pay the following day. I was told I could, but that I had to be the one to hand over the cash. Great news for someone who works Saturdays 7 am to 2 pm, longer hours than the post office is even open. So I ended up going back the following Tuesday. Lo and behold, standing at the counter waiting to give me more sass is Pam, the lovely clerk who treated me so well the prior Friday. I was able to pay for my passport/fees (even though it was a Tuesday, imagine that) and got out of there as fast as I could, I did not want to spend another second being mistreated by such awful employees. I gathered my paperwork and set it aside, hoping not to have to use any of it any time soon. Fast forward 4 weeks. I get a notice from the passport agency that states they never received my original/certified birth certificate! Awesome, right? I opened the folder containing my application and find the certified one, the one that Pam was supposed to send out with my money and application. She sent the copy, and Im finding this out 4 weeks later. 2 weeks before my trip out of the country. Oh and I called the agency and inquired about the ears, they said it was NOT a requirement for passport photos. Thank you Pam for wasting my time and money, and for making this the absolute worst experience Ive ever had. I will definitely not be returning.

Couldnt have had a better experience? I needed to replace a burned passport. I showed up on a Wed. around 1:15 p.m.. (the State Dept. website says Wed. at this location is open season) This is not the case. All passport applications need an apt. anywhere. The awesome staff helped me make an apt. for the next day. But before I left they were totally willing to help me out when I asked them questions. They let me know what I needed. Turned out I needed one more document. The next day my application was processed smooth as silk. I looked at my watch on the way back to work and was shocked that less than 10 mins had passed. It would have taken me longer to get a sandwich at WaWa.

Dont expect any help from this office if they lose a package. They "lost" a package I was shipping and it took numerous in-person visits to get a refund for my shipping. "Im not paying for a service that was not provided" was a foreign concept to them. Recently they mis-delivered a package sent to me. I called and was immediately told "call the 800 number." Not, "Let me check with the delivery person and see if they can find it on their next round." I avoid this PO when I mail things. I just wish I could have a different PO deliver mail to my house.

This PO is always busy so a short to moderate wait is normal. To help move things along, what I like is there is a very nice and helpful employee stationed out in the customer area to assist in expediting things. Such as she asks who is just getting stamps, or just mailing a package in order to assist in using the kiosk. If a customer has special needs, such as getting a passport, she not only directs on where to stand but alerts the back office staff of the need. I wish more post offices had an expediter like this.

Used to have great customer service, now they have ANGRY employees with a poor mean attitude, dont dare to show up 10 minutes before closing. The manager will scream her lungs out like a barn animal "We are closed"

Applied for my passport not long after they opened. It was quick and efficient even though I didnt have an appointment. (Make an appointment if youre going for your passport.)
