This post office has always been helpful and courteous to me personally and even doesnt lock their doors until a few minutes after closing hours to accommodate a few latecomers on occasion. However, the delivery service is a crap shoot depending on whos delivering the mail that day. If its the regular carrier, he usually delivers the mail promptly and even knocks on my door for packages delivered requiring a signature. If its anyone else though, they deliver as they see fit or not at all, leaving a slip in my mailbox for time sensitive packages that should be signed for when Im home... and on occasions when I do catch up with them, they say they were going to deliver the package "the 2nd time around" which makes no sense and displays bad organizational, time management AND critical thinking skills. Ive never experienced any attitude problems as other reviewers have and "privatizing" the USPS isnt even an option as far as Im concerned because all youd need is a bunch of non-union people whose jobs hinge solely on customer complaints with a perpetual turnover rate to make service even worse f not unmanageable. I dont think most people truly understand the volume that the USPS has to deal with on a daily basis, especially in a metro area of almost 10 million people. But giving stupid excuses as to why time sensitive mail wasnt delivered when it was on the truck the same time they delivered regular mail is unacceptable and maybe a separate carrier division can be created just to deal with time sensitive deliveries, creating more job opportunities even if some are part time ©. Not "terrible" service, but could be much better.

Just pretend this office does not exist. Because it might as well not. Drop off your mail to a different location. I have lived in Glen Burnie my whole life and have NEVER had one SINGLE issue. I moved here and it is a completely useless post office. They do not have the means to perform as a standard post office. They either have untrained/lazy staff, terrible drivers or something. They could probably be on the news for shredding or stealing or destroying mail. -Lost packages, or delivered 2 or more days later than expected date. -Poor scanning, you wont know when its ready for pickup/delivered/out for delivery (e.g. delivered 11am yet reflected at 6pm) -Postal worker does not show up to deliver mail sometimes up to 3 days in a row to my apartment community. -Marked unable to deliver on Sundays for amazon packages. No knock at my door, nor left at my door. -If you have a package delivery, they will send a goon sometimes as late as 8pm to deliver it and knock on your door... Office staff is unhelpful and refers to a number of a shipping annex supervisor that always puts you on hold and hangs up and you have to call 5+ times for him to lookup a package just to say he cant help... If you live in laurel, use UPS/fedex. Never use USPS for packages here - they can only handle junk mail and bills as federally mandated. Everyone needs to complain to USPS Office of the Consumer Advocate in DC. Google it. I was told to send a letter to them by a USPS representative.

Horrible experience with the big caucasian mailman. Would have given a negative rating of how angry I am writing this. Happened to my neighbor: A neighbor had his recycling bin next to the mailbox. *Probably around 2 feet away* The mailman could not put in the mail from his cart so he pushed the recycling bin far with his cart. Personal experience: I was sleeping in because I had an exhausting night. I did not hear the mailman knock on the door until my brother woke me up. I quickly ran out the door after him to get my package. The mailman said something in an angry tone under his breath and threw his hands up in the air. I was shocked and shaken. My mother saw the whole thing and wanted to come out to yell at him. I let it go because he might be having a bad day. My tipping point: I had a customer come over to my house to pick up a package. She parked next to the mailbox, not blocking it. She told me he SCOLDED her for parking there, apparently since that would have made him walk 3 steps to the mailbox. Definitely PISSED that he had an attitude with my guest when it was her first time parking there. She didnt know! Why would you talk to a human being like that? People that work at the post office, however, are nice and helpful to me. 4/5 stars for them.

This is the worst post office ever. I used to deliver mail and I know exactly what people do. Especially when its the end of your route. I live in a apartment community on the third floor. Smh. I took off from work so that I could wait for my 2 day priority package to be delivered. From my balcony I watched the mailman enter my building. On the first floor of my building are mailboxes for residents. I guess after he finished putting mail in them he left out and drove off. I went downstairs and found a noticed in my mailbox informing me to come to the post office to pick up my package. I immediately ran upstairs to get my car keys, got in my car and drove around the complex to look for him. He was no where in sight. I figured my building was the end of his route so he just said fxxk it. I called the post office yesterday after this incident and I also called today. Several times at that with no answer either times. All I want is for my package to be redelivered the right way. Talk about pissed off!!!!!!

Hate to give a low rating because we have 1 driver who is spectacular and great whenever she is on duty. However, each other driver either refuses to come to our office, delivers our mail to the wrong building repeatedly or just comes in and doesnt bother grabbing our outgoing that is literally right next to the door. They put in that no one is here on a lot of deliveries, even though there is ALWAYS at least one person here and the door is NEVER locked during business hours. Repeatedly discouraged with performance and when the driver is approached on missing us or not taking our mail, our concerns are met with rude dismissals or excuses. Drivers will deliver to the office in front of us but make a U-Turn and deliberately miss us, even though we have a horseshoe lot that leads her to her next stop. I am sure a mail carriers duty is probably more than I imagine, but something is to be said for the persistence in ignoring us is starting to be really out of line.

For the past 6months or more I have been having issues with my mail running and being delivered properly.Either it does not get delivered or gets put in the wrong mail box , Also lets not mention my packages not showing up at all and getting lost . I have medical supplies that comes to me via USPS sometimes and does not get to me on time . When I speak to someone they give me excuse after excuse saying my route is a training route and blah blah blah , well Im tired of my stuff not getting to me on time or not at all I have had at least two packages I never got due to them being stolen because they carrier left them out front of my apt building , I am currently trying to get a package that was supposed to be to me on Fri it was out for delivery and never showed up and here it is Monday If you can help it DONT USE THIS POST OFFICE
