This has got to be the worst Zips Ive ever gone to. Ive been taking my clothes there since they open in Columbia, MD. However, the service has gone WAY down hill. Whoever owns this location obviously doesnt care about their customers. The shop is ALWAYS a mess. If you are picking up your clothes anytime after 4pm there is usually MAYBE only 1 or 2 persons working the registers. All while the non-english speaking workers stand there in the back unable to move to even help the LONG line of customers. They lost 2 belts that were checked in at the time I dropped my clothes off. The Asian guy (I guess the manager) couldnt find them and because I insisted he said well do you want to come back here and look. There were bags of clothes just thrown in the back of the shop all over the floor. NO WONDER you all loose peoples clothing items. The shop is a mess. After today I will NO LONGER be bringing my clothes to Zips, especially this Zips in Columbia, MD. Id rather pay the price to have and know that my clothes are actually cleaned and wont be lost at a NORMAL cleaners. Perhaps if you didnt hire illegal immigrants then there might be more concern about the work being done. Although it only cost $1.99 to dry clean an item WE as customers should still expect to have them CLEANED and NOT LOST properly. Again, whoever owns this location has no regard for customer service and is just apparently in it for the money.

When you go to a dry cleaner, you are most concerned with quality of workmanship. This place doesnt have it. I took a seersucker suit I wore to the Preakness there and it was so badly stained with dirt that any idiot could have seen this should not have been returned to the customer in that condition. Since the plastic bag covered it, there was no way for me to have seen something was wrong and to have had this dealt with then. But thats no excuse for the employees who are supposed to inspect the clothes. When I was there waiting in line, a lady yelled at one of the staff because her clothes had also apparently been ruined. He responded that he couldnt do anything about it, that whoever was responsible to fix things wasnt "here today." She then said shed wait there all day. As a busy person, I dont have time to wait all day, and do realize mistakes happen. But obvious ones? There seems to be no quality control at this location despite the videos they play in the store, suggesting some intimate knowledge of the dry cleaning industry. I gave this place a shot. I wont be going back. Now I have to take the suit to my regular dry cleaner in Baltimore City. I dont trust these guys to get it right. You shouldnt trust them either. The old saying is you get what you pay for, right? Pay more and go somewhere else.

Worst service and attention to detail of any business establishment I have ever used. Poor workmanship on almost all suits and regular clothes. Constantly unable to put the original creases in trousers. Poor pressing and presentation...clumped together cloths... with dirt on them many times. Two times they did not dry clean my suit and put it back on the hanger to me. Lost garments several times and were nonchalant about it. They accept their failures for volume and speed and leave it to you for quality assurance. Any problem you have they will do a redo... because they know they do a sub-standard job. Redos usually get more poor performance. Management is a joke and I strongly recommend you do not use this business if you care about your clothes and presentation.

Absolutely horrible. These people had no signage as to when they would be closed on new years. I went on new years eve to pick up my dry cleaning and couldnt because they had closed early. Once again with no signage stating they would be closing early that day. I went back on new years day assuming it was normal business hours because once again there was no signage stating otherwise and once again they were closed. I on have no suit to wear to a company trip that I leave for tomorrow morning before they open. I am thoroughly passed with the lack of communication from them. And will not be going to this location anymore. Thanks so much for messing up my trip this week zips!

I have had the worst experience with this company!!! They completely destroyed my graduation cap and gown, one day before my photo shoot, and three days before I was supposed to walk across the stage!!! They gave away my stole to a customer that refused to return it in time for my photoshoot and my graduation... I had to repurchase a stole in order to even walk... this was in December 2016, it is now February 2017, and I have not received any compensation for my damages, despite the claim I completed in December. They also have the damaged items and still havent compensated me!!! The manager, Candi, was really polite and tried to help.... but still nothing has happened.

Its too bad there is not a "zero" star rating....this cleaners will have earned it. I dont think they "clean" anything...just press them enough to get rid of wrinkles, then put a plastic bag over it for pick up. I have complained before...got a free "do over", but got my item back in the same condition. They did a second "do over" after speaking with the manager, and still no improvement. I was told it was because they had new employees....mostly teenagers...and the service would improve once their training was completed. Guess they are still getting undergoing training months later....still no improvement.

The absolutely worst! I took several comforters to this place in August 12, 2014, to be cleaned and repaired for the winter. I did not pick them up until late November, early December. I just open them on January 22, 2015 and they smell horrible and was not repaired. I am beyond pissed that I have paid my money for them to be just stuffed in bag and not cleaned. I am DISGUTED with this place. I dont usually leave reviews but this really pissed me off. This place is a scam! Stay away from this place dont let them steal from you and destroy your property. So not letting this slide.

☞ZERO STAR. Im DONE with this ZIPS. This is the Second time a shirt has been lost, the manager Candy told me it might be with another customer. Ummmmm excuse me and how are you going to Figure out which customer has my shirt. Really? NO. There is NO more excuses--- definitely will be returning 1 more time for a complete refund and taking my garments and Money on up the road. If you LOVE ypur clothes

I dropped off a mens suit, an evening dress, and two coats. They were ready for pickup the next day. Every person I talked to was friendly, and since I was carrying my infant son, they even offered to load my car for me. I had spilled liquid laundry soap on the mens suit, and it came out. One of the coats was white and worn all last winter. The edges of the hem and sleeves were very dirty. Now the coat looks new again. The grey coat I dropped off was worn for two years and it looks new again too. Excellent! I will return. :)
