I got a storage unit at Best Storage to hold some things while I was in the process of moving out of an apartment, getting married, and moving into our house. Everyone there is really nice and helpful and the grounds and buildings are always clean. Ive seen some really shady looking storage places and this is very far on the opposite side of that spectrum. When you want to move out, you have to go in and fill out some paperwork stating the date youll be out by and they instruct you to leave your unit empty and unlocked by close of business on that date and youll be done. Well, I did just that and I got a bill in the mail for another month of storage PLUS a late fee. To say that Im unhappy about this would be an understatement.

The safety of my possessions was very good!! The problem I have is the constant additional fee and the perceived threat to auction my good after just 30 days late, despite a rental lasting over 6 months. Dont touch my stuff!!!!!!!
