Made a reservation for a 10 x 10 ft. storage unit online. Was given the $1 first month rate with the $25 set up fee. Even had the confirmation at this price. When I got there, they still charged me the "winter rate" ......half off. Along with the set up fee and insurance, it cost me about $125!! They wouldnt honor the $1 first month. Brandon was extremely helpful trying to honor what was confirmed for me. He even called the corporate office. They wouldnt budge. Brandon was extremely helpful with everything else. Because Public Storage confirmed my first month at $1 (with the $25 set up fee) then didnt honor it when I arrived, I dont think I would ever use Public Storage again. Any company that offers $1 first month, confirms it, I print it out, then they dont honor it when I arrive, wont be getting any future business.

Ive had to use storage units for the last 20+ years while my husband was active duty and Ive used two different Public Storages in this area. This PS is by far the best of the two. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The storage area was clean (yeah, theres a funky smell but thats what you get with a storage unit that is not climate controlled) and well maintained. I never noticed any trash or old furniture dumped outside of the trash bins. I did notice that on several of my trips to either put more stuff in or to retrieve items, that one of the office staff was sweeping up the hallways. Based on my previous experience with storage units throughout the country and the other PS I used in the area, I would definitely recommend this one to anyone that needs to rent storage.

My rent was increased without notice. It was claimed a notice was sent by mail; however, since Public Storage contacts me by email for every other matter, why not also send the e-notice so I would receive it. I spoke with the location that referred me to corporate customer service who then referred me to the district manager. I called the district manager several times and he did not even provide the courtesy of a response. I plan to end my rental soon, and will not rent at Public Storage again. This is the second time they increased rent without proper notice.

I went to the Odenton, MD Public Storage to inquire about some boxes I will need to purchase to store some items in my home. The personnel there, Brandon, was very knowledgeable and helpful in my needs. I am still looking around on pricing, but I think this is my best bet so far! Even if I am able to locate a cheaper price...it may be worth the extra money just because of the customer service I received. I have never had such a good experience as I did today at this Public Storage thanks all in part to Brandon!

You cant beat the price in this area! The reservation process was quick and Rick was great to work with. He called and introduced himself after the online reservation and provided excellent customer service upon arrival to the facility. He even swept out the unit that had a few leaves that blew under the door! Its rare here to find someone that goes out of their way to make an experience more pleasurable! Thanks Rick!

I have always had bad experiences with storage facilities however Brandon at Public Storage in Odenton has changed my insight. He is very conscientious of the customer storage bins as if he was protecting his own items. I would recommend anyone to store items at Odenton Public Storage because Brandon manages this site very well!

I love it when service can get you in and get you straight out...they asked me what type and how many items am i storing so that I can get the correct size unit to pay for. All the paperwork was clear and precise and the payments were reasonable along with the insurance.

Ive been a customer for a while. Place is very clean and staff is friendly. When I have questions about bill or storage, I can always go into the office or call to get questions answered. They even call to remind me about my bill, which is helpful

Upkeep isnt the best walls are dented, some lights are out and if you can find a cart to use to move your stuff, chances are its in disrepair. There seem to be only 2 carts for the entire facility. A bit expensive for what you get...
