You are WARNED. Extra Space was having their unit doors painted and care was not taken to prevent the paint from coming in through the cracks. I spoke to Bernie at the front desk and she called Michael, the property manager, who I could hear in the office above us and he told her to offer me a rag. I asked to speak to him face to face. When he came down, he had a small dog with him. I expressed my concern over the paint and again, he offered a rag to clean it off. I said that that wasnt acceptable and asked to file a complaint. Bernie left to take pictures. At that point, Michael said that he wasnt even supposed to be working today and that he was going to log into the system because if he was going to get yelled at, then he should be paid for it. I told him that Im not yelling but that I am upset at how the situation was being handled. He offered the rag again. I asked to speak to his manager. He told me that he wasnt going to put me in contact with him. I asked why and he said that Bernie would because she was working to which I replied, "You just told me that you signed in." Michael replied, "I changed my mind." He then told me to wait because his dog was missing and left me in the office to look for his dog. When Bernie returned, Michael left to go back upstairs with his dog. At this point, Bernie was able to contact with the manager and the paint company. Michael, the property manager, was rude, curt, and highly unprofessional.

This is for Saturday 10/ 8/ 2016 I went to pick up my storage and found I needed more time...Micheal was awesome he was very helpful...He went as far in helping us move heavy furniture into a smaller storage space because I couldnt fit it all in the truck all to save me some money. I think he deserves move that a 5 star. I would recommend his storage spot to anyone... Hes not only courteous he was so understanding I told him my husband has a heart condition so he stepped in to help him...I never had this kind of customer service anywhere...Thank you Micheal for everything. Albert and Juanita we really appreciate you. Michael at extra space storage is professional, very professional worked.with me to make sure I was comfortable now and in my future visits. I would recommend extra space storage in Edgewood to everyone.

my experience with extra space in edgewood Maryland was magnificent Ms.Sequio Daughton was so polite , friendly , and nice she worked with me until we found the best unit for me to rent she explained every size of the unit for me and she paid attention to detail so that we can find the right size unit. She also made sure i could afford the unit before i booked the unit but in all general my experience there was excellent and great she is the reason why i got my unit. So this go to DM of extra space that this Ms.Sequio Daughton need should be one of the top tier bosses because how good she is. So the people of Baltimore,Maryland and Edgewood,Maryland if you need a storage spot and great friend and great business.Thank You Ms.Sequio Daughton for services i recommend this storage to everyone

Interesting that this place has (at time of writing) 323 5-star reviews. I rented a climate-controlled unit here for about 6 months, and mold grew all over my stuff. The unit SEEMED fine when I moved in, but subsequently got damp and musty and mold grew everywhere. Im not sure if they had a leak or what; call it a mystery. Its also a mystery where my previous review went, as Im positive I reviewed this place previously. Ive learned to be wary of Google reviews, and youd be wise to as well, as somehow the negative reviews seem to mysteriously disappear. On another note, the staff was always superb. However, theres absolutely no forgiveness when the facility creates a breeding ground for mold and ruins my stuff.

I had the best experience with the staff at Extra Space Storage-Edgewood! Will was professional, courteous, friendly, helpful and so likable! He drove me down to my perspective unit in a golf cart, showing me all the high points of the facility. No pressure to rent a bigger unit then I needed but also made helpful suggestions and was so knowledgeable of the process and the business. The following Friday when I was supposed to come in and rent, I had a family emergency so I couldnt keep my appointment. Manager Mike was so kind and genuine both that night when I called in and when I came in the following day to take care of renting my unit. I would highly recommend this company and their staff!

Hello at all... I would like to share my experience with Extra Space Storage Edgewood , Md. I was lost looking for a rental truck moving company. I stopped in the facility to get directions. The onsite manager(Ms.Daughton) greeted me with a smile. She put me on the course giving me local points of interest to help. I was so impressed with her kind words that we returned after my move to rent a unit. She prepared me with all needs to get me settled. She went as far working through her lunch break. My experiences from constant change from military allowed me to take things in good faith and face value. I would like to thank her again. Sgt on the move!

I was in need of a storage and called around to see what was available in my area. Im glad I checked around and didnt take the first thing smoking. For one the customer service here was above and beyond what I could have expected. The gentleman Mike called to secure the online reps statements as well as kept the same level of service when I went in. This is by far unusual in this market. Needles to say Extra Space Storage cant be beat. They are in a class above the rest and it should be noted. If you want real people with smiling faces and are willing to go the extra mile go to Extra Space Storage. The Extra in thier name says it all.

I had a great experience with Michael here at Extra Space Storage. He provided exceptional customer service and assistance in choosing a storage unit, was very friendly, and down to earth. The price options he provided were outstanding all while comparing with their standard and online pricing deals. Originally, I was looking to shop around however this was the first place I visited and was impressed by everything all around. I would recommend this storage company to anyone that is looking for just a little extra space or moving in general. No issues, great prices, many options, and perfect customer service!

This is my second review and Im telling you that if you are looking for great customer service in a storage facility youve found it. Britney was great she went above and beyond to help me after hours. I really appreciate everything she did. As well as the management Mike I was going to move to another storage closer to my new house. But the customer service is/was so great I just decided to get a small unit and stay. Its a little more gas but Britney and Mike give me a piece of mind. Assuring that my property is in good hands. Thanks Mike and Britney! Greatly appreciate you!
