We lost EVERYTHING! We have used this storage for 3 years and 1 1/2 years ago there was a leak that we were never informed of. The insurance adjuster was informed of this and then they retracted there statement. Everything we owned was covered in green and black mold! Dont use there insurance it covers nothing and the contract protects the storage place to make then not reliable to fix a damn thing per our attorney! We are devastated! They act like they dont care! My kids winter cloths our furniture everything is gone that we have no money to replace. We had to retract our offer for an apartment because my kids have nothing to sleep on. We had to pay for junk people to come out and clean it out because "they" are not responsible! All our memories are gone! This has been the most devastating thing that has EVER happened to us!

Mike greeted me promptly at the door and quickly understood the nature of my storage needs. He showed me a satisfying unit in a well maintained and secure building. I felt so at ease with his demeanor and the layout of this business that I immediately requested to sign a lease. Mike continued to ask appropriate questions regarding my needs and I came away with a more economical offer than we had previously discussed. Katherine is another friendly employee here and she also made me feel at ease. Signing the lease was super easy and Mike guided me expertly. I had shopped around a bit for a suitable storage space, and I was feeling pretty dismayed. This place answered my prayers and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a safe space for their personal property.

Will and Joe were very helpful in helping my family and I locate a storage unit that would meet our needs. My family and I are combining households, so we were unsure of the size we would need, but Will helped us pick the right size, for the right price. There was a monthly sale running at the time of our decision to rent the unit, but since we were getting the last unit, the sale did not apply to our unit. However, Will worked with us to get a price for the unit that worked within our budgetary needs. I would definitely recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone who plans on moving in the area. The staff is friendly and cognizant of customer needs. They are willing to work for the customer, not just the company itself. Thank you Will for all your help!!

I looked at several storage businesses in the Bel Air / Abingdon area and chose Extra Space Storage after the Assistant Manager, Will, took me on a thorough tour. Having moved 16 times with the Army (and using storage with each move) I recognized a competent, professional business. Joe (Manager) and Will are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They lead an obviously hard working and capable staff. Access is controlled, security is exceptional (with working cameras and bright lights), and the interior and exterior of the grounds are very clean. The location is very convenient and the prices are competitive with any other local storage facility while offering a superior service. I highly recommend using this business for any storage needs.

I first met the manager of this location, Mike, in February 2016 because I needed a place to store my household goods before I deployed. He was very professional and personable and I knew that I was going to be an Extra Space Storage customer after meeting him. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and it feels very private. After returning home 18 months later I walked into the store and Mike remembered me and welcomed me home. That was awesome. Everything I owned was safe under his management and I could not be more satisfied. He was extremely helpful last month when I moved into my new home. Thanks for everything, Mike!

While not the least expensive self-storage facility (compared to some others in the area), Abingdon Extra Space Storage has a very courteous, helpful, and friendly staff. The facility is kept very clean, including the customer restroom. It is a nice area and the security appears to be top-notch for this type of establishment. A large variety of storage units is also a plus, with pull-up (i.e. outdoor) climate-controlled units being a major selling point. My only issues are that they are on the expensive side, and there is not an online billing and payment system available as of yet. Overall an excellent place to store your "stuff."

I just recently rented a unit here. The place was the cleanest and most well kept storage facility I gave ever been to. The rates were u mong the best any where. Promotions are unbeatable and staff is as friendly and welcoming as can be. Very helpful and answered all my questions. Management is top notch as well. Was greeted by a manager just for him to welcome me to there facility and if I had any questions or concerns direct them to him. Will be a long time customer and will refer friends with out a doubt. Best experience ever at a storage facility. Thank you extra space.

My wife & I have been using the storage facility for almost a year now and are very pleased. They had just the right size unit for us and at just the right price. Facility is easy to access and clean. Staff very helpfull and willing to go extra distance to make us happy. Had small problem with auto payment not being taken out of our account but that was taken care of with a curtousy call from the Facility Manager. We plan on using them as long as we dont have enough space in our home & with having children that always seems to be the case. :) mattackbda

Rented a unit for two months while moving from one house to another. John and Kathryn were very friendly and helpful and I felt safe having my belongings here. The rental process was described clearly, including cutoff dates for cancelling automatic billing and setting up a prorated partial final month. Closing out the account was easy. Access to the facility is controlled by security gates, and each renter gets an individual code to open the gate. Staff are professional, responsive, and pleasant to interact with. Highly recommend!

The staff at this location are pleasant and knowledgeable, the grounds are clean, and the prices are very reasonable. I had first thought a small unit would fit everything that I needed to put in there, but after letting him know generally what sizes my boxes and furniture were, Mike recommended me to upgrade to the next larger size--And thank goodness he did! It all just fit! Catherine was also very patient and helpful when I had to change information on my account. I have recommended this location to my friends and family.

I have been a customre of Extra Space Storage for over three years. I had the opportunity to stop in yesterday and was treated with the same friendliness and courtesy by the two gentlemen as I was when I was shopping for a new storage faculity. The office area and grounds inside the gated area are clean and well maintained. Inside the buildings, where my unit is housed, is also clean, well lit and maintained. I moved from another local storage faculity to Extra Space Storage and have been perfectly happy.
