BEWARE. Our unit took in water from the past rainstorms because of what appeared to be a clogged drainage system on the structure. We were called about it, and when we went to check it looked like water may have been leaking in for a while. When my husband went in to inquire about what the next steps were, Happy Boxes didnt show ANY urgency or care. When he asked who was going to be responsible to pay for moving the stuff and where we could dispose of everything that was ruined, he was told that it was our responsibility(Happy Boxes does not have an on site dumpster either). We were offered by Happy Boxes to rent from a different location at our current rate (so still pay 100% even though its their fault on top of moving our stuff at our own expense). It has been 3 days since they initially told us about the leak and we havent been contacted again. I called twice and left a message and havent heard anything. I would love to get my wet things out of the leaking storage unit but hate that I need to rent a truck and dispose of ruined items (including a couch, bed, and flat screen tv) at my own cost. Our renters insurance company was contacted and now we are inconvenienced of having to go through all those motions. Happy Boxes has failed to provide proper business ethics as expected from any company who cares about their customers. Seek out a different storage facility or you could be exposed to this type of unethical business standard they have set for themselves. (By the way, not even a single apology has been given from them about our damaged personal property).

My wife and I have been a customer with Happy Boxes for a few months now. The service is great, as is the associates who work there. We currently do not have an issue with our service but there is one slight inconveniencing fact about this storage unit location (if not all Happy Boxes, I am not 100% sure). The site does NOT provide an on-site trash receptacle amenity. That is, there is no dumpster for any trash or unwanted items. I have been a customer to many storage units in the past in the locale and did not have this issue. I definitely feel as if the amount of money spent on rent should include a dumpster. With that, there is plenty of areas on the site that could easily fit a dumpster or two within the gated area to prevent unauthorized dumpster use. As of now, we are a bit burdened with small unwanted items and have to make additional plans to find a way and a place to dispose of simple trash that otherwise would fill up a basic trash can rather quickly. Had I known that this location did not provide a dumpster we would have sought out another storage facility. I rated Happy Boxes 4 stars solely on the fact of a lacking amenity. I encourage that the location supervisor or Happy Boxes in general looks into this and makes appropriate decisions to rectify this issue for future customers. It would just be another way to make customers "Happy" to offer such a basic amenity.
