Having owned many different sports cars ranging from Corvettes to BMWs to Mercedes, I can tell you that my experiences with mechanics have been less than stellar. I have been "upsold" on almost every simple oil change and I have been cautioned that I must make immediate repairs or replacements to brakes, tires, gaskets, hoses, and the list goes on. That is until I found Meineke of Elkton and Lou Bonilla. For the past several years, I will take my Mercedes (most recently an SLK55 AMG) to Lou and to nobody else. I found Meineke of Elkton when all I needed was a pair of wiper blades. Lou replaced my wiper blades and charged me less than any other place in town - he even popped them on himself. I then began with oil changes. My first time there, my carpool forget to pick me up but Lou made sure I got to work safe and sound. After that - I added the repair of my drivers side window mechanism. The job was finished on time and came in as quoted. I then took the car in for tire and brake replacement because another shop told me that I needed both and that my car was just short of being dangerous. Guess what? Lou called me to say that my brakes were excellent and that NONE of my tires needed to be replaced. Wow! Who does that? Lou turned business away to avoid charging me for needless repairs. To top it all off, Lou has a shop that is spotless, always looks and smells fabulous and they offer specialty coffees and teas. The magazines even have an appeal to both the male and female clinetele. Lou and the Meineke team in Elkton have made me a permanent customer and have made me brag about their care to all who will listen. Bless you, Lou and Elkton Meineke!

DO NOT PAY FOR A TIRE ROTATION. THEY DONT ACTUALLY MOVE THE TIRES. Friday December 9th 2016 paid $20 for a tire rotation at about 4:30pm on a 2015 White Ford Focus, manual. Before the car was worked on, the driver left tire did NOT have a hubcap, the other three did. Picked up the car at about 5:30pm before closing at 6, so it was now dark outside and didnt notice the issue until the next morning in daylight. It was clear to see the driver left tire still did NOT have a hubcap. So... it is clear that the tires were NOT ROTATED, if the driver left tire is still the only tire that does not have the hubcap. Thanks Meineke Car Center 303 W. Pulaski Hey Elkton MD for charging DOUBLE and performing the oil change but not the SIMPLE service to rotate the cars that was added to the total bill. It would be sufficient to refund the amount of $20 for the lack of tire rotation. (For the record, on this date 12/9, paid for the oil change special for $24.95- which is almost the cost of the elegid tire rotation at $20. Thus the total bill was $44.95).

Friendly, albeit unprofessional, service, but they have forgotten twice to replace the mileage sticker after an oil change which is just basic but annoying nonetheless. Additionally, I feel that they are always trying to tack on extra items. I once sat in the waiting room with 8 other people and every single person was told that it was crucial for them to buy something else or their safety was in danger (filter, etc). I went in for an oil change (which includes a 20-something point check) and asked them to look at the grinding of my breaks. They told me it was a loose belt. Upon driving it again and finding the grinding sound still present, I took my car to the local Midas and found that I needed 2 new front rotors and front brake pads. Additionally, the pin that holds on the front pads was missing on both wheels. HOW DID MEINEKE NOT CATCH THIS? I would say that the battery corrosion removal I paid for at my trip to Meineke has less to do with my safety than this. Maybe Im wrong.

I brought my car here on my last limb. After calls to many repair shop, and hours of web searching, we came across Meineke. I live in Havre de Hrace so the closest one was in Elkton, only about 28 miles away. The local repair shop that I typically go to, Bill Dennys, wanted to charge me almost $1,200 to repair a rattle coming from the exhaust system. They refused to explain the repairs but what I took from it was that they wanted to replace the whole system. I explained my struggles to Meineke and they were very understanding. They even brought us underneath the car to point out what needed repairs. He explained that the cause was simply my muffler hangers being worn out, and a couple of leaks. To my relief, they charged my just shy of $400. I am a very happy customer. Im so thankful that my 1999 CRV is in good condition again!

I have an 05 Hyundai Tuscon with 178K miles on it. As with any vehicle with that many miles it has issues periodically. I have been trusting my Tuscon getting diagnosed and worked on by Rob since about 08 for routine maintenance or any other issues back when he managed the Claymont Meineke. I always felt like I was treated fairly on pricing and the work was always top notch. I trust my long time mechanic with all my vehicles so much so that when he transferred to the Elkton Meineke to manage it I still take my vehicles to him to get fixed. I still have my trusty 05 Tuscon and still call Rob at Meineke for any issues that arise because I trust him and his team to get my vehicle fixed and back up and running right every time. So I just want to thank Rob and his team for keeping me and my Tuscon up and running all these years.

My brakes on my Jeep got suddenly really bad so my husband took it and went to almost a dozen other places that were completely full and couldnt get me in until Thursday at the earliest. He got to Meineke an hour and a half before closing. The guy was very nice, he showed him exactly what was wrong. They had a special deal going and he got 50% off the brake parts we needed. Got a great estimate for a few other things we needed with no pressure to get them done today. Really nice place, would definitely return.

Took my care here today and had a great experience. Rob, the manager, was very helpful in letting me know exactly what my problem was. He was clear and direct in handling my issues and made me feel confident that my car would be taken well care of. I cannot thank him enough, he was pleasant and courteous. The work done on my car was done in a very timely manner and I feel confident about driving it now. Thanks so much for making me feel so comfortable!

This is the worst pace Ive ever been and i travel all over the country! As soon as i walked through the door the man had an attitude and asked "what do you want", I said an oil change. He goes on about his late it is but he will do me a favor and its an hour and a half before they close. I watched the whole time and when they were finished i asked if they had checked all of my fluids and filters i was told yes but they never did. AVOID THIS PACE!
