Horrible. Simply put. I have a 90 olds cutlass supreme with a Quad 4 motor and they know absolutely nothing about it. Took my car there for a misfire problem and there solution? Im sitting in the waiting area and all I here is them flooring the accelerator on and off for 15 minutes!! Then they turn it off and let it sit then turned the car back on and floored it some more! As if red zoning my engine for 15 minutes is gonna fix anything! THEN they have the nerve to tell me they dont know whats wrong with it and all they can do is replace EVERY PART in that engine UNTIL it works again!!! Like seriously? Just replace parts til it works thats your moto? Rip offs! If you got the most common place car in America then maybe its fine. But if you got a car that is even slightly less common to find on the road than a chevy Malibu dont go here!

If you are a parent of a student at Binghamton University and your child owns a car that needs repair, send them here!!! Drove up to Binghamton last Wednesday in my sons car so we could attend orientation. On our drive there his muffler kept back firing and his check engine light came on. He was going to drive back home to NYC 3.5 hours on his own so I took it to Meineke on Vestal Pkway East. The owner, Dan, was so nice and trust worthy! There were other people there who have been loyal customers for years and had nothing but great things to say about him. He fixed my sons muffler and determined that the check engine light was for an evap. The price was reasonable and the service excellent and my son could not be any happier with his car! Thank you Dan!!1

I am surprised at the reviews below. My family and I (thats 5 different cars) have been bringing our vehicles here for over 6 years, and we have never gotten anything other than excellent quality service and an honest deal. I rarely write reviews, but it seems like every time I go into the shop Dan or Mike are giving someone some deal or other. Today when I was in for an oil-change, they worked two hours on trouble-shooting an air conditioner for some lady and they refused to charge her for it-- even after she insisted that she wanted to pay. They told her to take it to the dealer for warranty repair. Frankly, I could care less whether you take your car here (less wait time for me), but the fact is, these guys are honest and know what theyre doing.

They were very nice and didnt have a problem looking for what was wrong with my car and helping me find ways for my temporary fix. I drive a mercedes and ive noticed that most shops normally reject me when i tell them that i am having car problems, especially electrical problems but not Meineke. They ever offered me a temp car while they were working on my vehicle which is something that no other car care center has ever done for me. I am very satisfied with the quality service ive recieved from them and if i am ever in the area with any car issue i will definitely pay them a visit again

Last month, I cannot start the engineer of My VW beetle, they diagnose it as the air pump malfunction and ask for over $500 to fix it. One day after, my car cannot start again, then I have to spend $80 to tow the car back to Meineke, they said that "We dont know too much about German cars!!!" After that, I took the car to VW dealer only spend $170 to change the fuel pump, and the mechanician said there is no probability of the air pump malfunction to cause the problem. I still keep the receipt this problem and their diagnose, if you interested, I can show you without problem.

First off, there way to expensive. I had a misfire problem on my accord so they decided to diagnose it and alls they could find is a 420 code (catalytic converter) and they told me once i get that replaced it should fix the problem.. They gave me a quote of $700 to replace it. So i laughed and went elsewhere to replace it for $350. Anyways, after it got replaced the problems was still there and i went back to meineke and Luis just told me to drive it for like a 100 miles and it should solve the problem. NOPE. i still have the misfire problem and no one can tell me why

Came in with a low idle and lack of power on my civic. They told me my catalitic converter was clogged and estimated the repair at $1100. The manager was being a tool bag because I wasnt convinced and I didnt have the money so I paid 105 for the diagnostic fee. Same day, a mechanic friend found the distributor was loose and the timing was way off. That fixed the problem. So I wasted 105 for a wrong diagnosis but it could have been a lot worse. Moral of the story: dont go to a brakes and muffler shop for engine work.

Ive had a wonderful experience with this place when trying to get my VW Passat (2006) fixed. Th exhaust broke off at the manifold and other places were quoting me upwards of $1200 to fix it. Appreciating that I was a student, they were able to weld it into place for me only for a few hundred dollars (lasted me almost two years). The best part is, if you explain you have the part they will install it for you and just charge you for the labor. Try talking to Luis, he seems to want to help.

I would not normally write a comment about performance, but in this case Id throw out some positive vibes. In short, the manager had called in a favor to get me a part, in which I was shipped both the same side. He didnt bother to add any cost for the delivery of it. And since we were about to move, twas nice to not have to postpone for replacement side. :) So, overall, I thought it good to throw some cosmic karma thier way. . . Civil rights and peace out . . .

I highly recommend bringing your car to meineke to get serviced. I have been bringing my cars to meineke (2 cars) for the last 4/5 years. I have recieved nothing but excellent friendly customer service and quality repair work on my cars. If they are busy, they always squeeze me in for a basic oil change, or anything thats needs to be worked on. I would recommend Meineke to all my friends and family.

I have been coming to Meineke in Vestal for years. Lately I am even driving back in as I no longer live in the area to get my car fixed at Meineke. Dan, Luis and all the staff are always extremely helpful and the repairs are always done right the first time. It is very rare these days to find the owner of a business at the desk greeting you with a smile.

I wanted to update my recent complaint. I was able to contact the owner regarding my VW, The owner is a decent man and was very apologetic that this had happened to me. He refunded me 220.00 for the unnecessary work that was done to my car and he really truly felt terrible about it.
