Mia is awesome! She has been doing my hair for the last two months and does an amazing job every time. I love coming here to get my hair blown out or curled. I have natural hair that is very thick and dry so for me to leave with my hair blowing in the wind is impressive. They use good quality products (it doesnt feel like dish soap like some other salons) and they actually moisturize my hair. And, major point, they didnt burn my hair off!! It doesnt hurt and getting my hair done has actually been a relaxing experience. The place is super clean and spacious. Everyone that I have met has been super nice. I am really happy that I found a place to come to regularly to get my hair done. I even brought my mother and she loved it as well.

Unfortunately I have to give this place a terrible review. I was charged $195 for Mia to do a hair cut and ombre on my hair. She made the top of my hair a "honey brown" which turned red on my hair when I wanted to keep my roots black (my natural hair color). The blonde color at the bottom of my hair that she dyed turned orange. When I asked Mia to make the top of my hair back to black she said no because she thought the "honey brown" which was red looked good on my hair. My hair cut also came out unevenly. I had to go to another salon to get my hair corrected and was charged $150 to fix my hair. I would never go here again. Mia was nice and curled my hair nicely, but color and cuts is not their speciality.

The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because they are opened on Sundays and it was clean with a ton of open space. However, they charge you $55 for a wash, blow dry, and flat iron. They do not get your hair straight from the roots and it is a mess the next day. I ended up having to go to my normal place down the road on Monday to get my hair done all over again as I was flying out on Tues for a business trip. If you want your natural hair done correctly, with care, and want it to last for e secent price, go to the Dominican Beauty Center in Essex.

Today was the first time I visited this salon. I am very pleased with my hair and I recommend this salon. I felt welcomed when I entered. They are friendly and professional. The service was fast and thorough. The hair products are great and smell wonderful. The salon is very clean and beautiful. The stylist Mia is very genuine and gentile. I will be going to this salon more often.

My daughter went there and we are not happy I was told one price on the phone. She got there and the price went up. She said she charged more because my daughter has real long hair. I wouldnt recommend this place

I love it here its so amazing that s is the only place I will come to and let them do my hair I dont trust anyone but this place and MIA is so amazing and very gentle on my hair I love her!!! Thanks Mia !
