This owner of the shop is very unprofessional and I wouldnt recommend anyone to go here I went to check the shop out on Monday to see if someone in their knew how to do goddess braids the onwer of the salon said it was only one woman there who knew how to do goddess braids she didnt know how to do it and she directed me to her the lady said she would do it for 60 and I was like OK no problem because I only wanted four braids but when I asked could I bring my own hair she said no and I was thinking why cant I bring my own hair if I dont like the shop hair so I was very skeptical about that so I was like can I show you how I wanted my hair I showed her a pic of goddess braids pulled back in a bun she then told me she couldnt do my hair exactly like the pic then she left out and said she had to go to the bathroom if you have a potential client coming in for her hair to be done wouldnt you make sure all her questions are answered before you leave out the lady told me if I had any further questions to ask the store owner but remind you she dont know how to do goddess braids so how is she gonna know how I want my head. So the lady finally gets back in the salon after 15 minutes of being MIA and I politely said thanks but no thanks I wont be getting my hair done here if I have to go through all of that just to get my hair done I just can imagine what it would be like if my hair was actually getting done their and both the other girl and the owner of the salon was rude and speaking disrespectfully in there native French language when I said I was no longer interested in my hair being done there she didnt even bother to reason with me so with that said Ill be getting my hair done elsewhere and ladies please dont waste your time getting your hair done there please save your time and money

I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone. I went in on 6/5/15 and got my hair micro-braided and weaved in the middle. This is a common trick I use to save time on a wet and wavy install. The end result looked beautiful but a month later when Im taking out the braids Im furious! During the install I noticed the braider was sealing the ends with glue and I didnt balk my concern because Ive seen and had this done before BUT at Ave Maria they didnt braid down below where my hair stopped. They glued my hair!!! The struggle is real right now not to damage my own hair even further to remove these braids. Im thanking God right now that the middle is weaved unless my entire head wouldve been subject to the glue

I went in for Senegalese. Started @9am left @11am. They were beautiful and lasted long. I will defiantly go back. Got a lot of complements too.
