Si eres caribeña y buscas un salon de belleza que entienda como manejar tu cabello, te recomiendo Corazon Latino. Pase por muchos salones caros y baratos en Maryland y solo en Corazon Latino entienden mi cabello, lo seca con blower y cepillo redondo y solo usan la plancha si tu lo permites. Estela cuenta con el mejor equipo de profesionales de la belleza para hombres y mujeres. Estan al dia en cortes y color. En mi caso, me atiendo con Esmaralda que conoce perfectamente mis gustos y como manejar mi cabello boricua. Esmeralda decolora mi cabello y aplica el color rubio extra claro que tanto me gusta y me distingue. Es muy disciplinada con los cortes de cabello pues sigue las instrucciones de sus clientes y no corta de mas. Pero si Esmeralda esta libre, Rosa o Cely igual saben mis gustos y necesidades de mi cabello. Y usted pensara que es caro, tranquila, los precios son razonables y usan productos de calidad. Recomiendo con 5 estrellas al equipo de trabajo de Corazon Latino en Laurel MD.

I never like the idea of coming here for some reason...my husband and my son needed a haircut we usually go to a barber/ hair salon next to Pupusas Azucena but, it just so happens they were not open last Saturday. My husband then says well lets try corazon latino and I immediately tell him NO I just did not feel comfortable- I dont know if its the aspect of the place, the owners face or the people that get their hair done there but something was just OFF. They cut my sons hair pretty quick and with no wait. My husband was next and since my son started to fuss I took him back to the car to wait and as Im checking his hair I see this HUGE HEAD LICE in his head which good thing his head was practically shaved so it was easy to see... the problem would have been ME since I have long and thick hair! Anyone whos had or knows someone whos had head lice KNOWS the nightmare it turns out to be and hard it is to get rid of! I was completely disgusted that my 1 year old son was barely in Corazon Latino for 10 minutes and got head lice. WATCH OUT!!!! THIS PLACE LACKS HYGIENE- SOMETHING SO SIMPLE LIKE A $12.00 DOLLAR HAIR CUT CAN AND WILL COST YOU A LOT MORE! Save yourself the trouble and just go to Hair cuttery or some other KNOWN salon where at least theyre clean.

I just had a horrible experience at the Corazon Latino hair salon and I advise anyone that goes there to get a wash and set to NOT go to the lady with the red hair. She does not know how to treat her clients. She talked on the phone the whole time and did her own hair while she should have been doing mine. I was finished under the dryer and she just kept doing own hair instead of tending to mine. She also went out for an extended lunch break while she was supposed to be doing my hair. I did not see her for most of the time yet she had the nerve to charge me $45 for a service that I would have normally paid $35 for. She is a rip off. Stay away from her. Im not sure of her name but she wears earrings that says "Iris"/"Isis", though the manager refer to her by another name.

Ive never written a review for anything so this means something. Showed a picture of what I wanted, told her to start with a 3 on the side then maybe go to a 2 after I checked it out. First, she didnt even come close to what I showed her in the pic, so I try to help her out on how to best cut it because I have a cowlick and its not the easiest to work with. She didnt listen to me at all. Then when she had kind of fixed it, I told her to go with a 2 on the sides. SHE SAID THAT WOULD BE AN ADDITIONAL HAIRCUT. I thought I heard her wrong but she insisted going from a 3 to a 2 on the sides is considered another haircut. Ive never heard of that in my life. Utterly disappointed with this place. STAY AWAY!!

Some of the stylists here are truly talented (keep in mind, I have not been here in a couple years). The way they cut and blow dry your hair here is the absolute best. They have you leaving looking so well done, and even curl your hair a little with the blow dryer. However, I went here for some time and I did notice that they started charging me more and more each time I went so I stopped going. Also, when I was getting my hair colored blonde, they were not the best at it. I was about to stop by this week to get a color and cut, but after reading that they may have lice, NOPE.

This place is awful they refused to give my uncle service until he had to get up and confront them about it. After he sat down they proceeded to give him a lackluster haircut and cut up the back of his neck pretty badly. They then proceeded to make Hispanic remarks and the only word my uncle could make out was "Gringo". He was a victim and this needs to be addressed

As hair stylists, these people should know better than to bleach hair twice. I nearly lost all of my hair. I asked the woman multiple times what she was doing and she was clueless. Never again. For men hair cuts and female cuts? Theyre good. Dying hair? Theyre idiots.

I gotta say I love this place. I used to go to hair cuttery and other barbers until I found corazon latino. I love how they cut my hair looks lot better than one of those hair cuttery places. The service is better too.

First time here to dye & cut my hair & im pretty satisfied . The guy isaak that did my hair was very efficient especially with the amount of time I had . Love my hair . Price was a litttle high but its worth the work .

I hadnt cut my hair in a year since I moved from out of state. And I didnt know of any good places to get my haircut. But this place didnt disappoint and the price for a haircut was reasonable

Lady at front desk is a little rude and their stylist are hit and miss always find myself waiting 30-45 min to get a hair cut have not been back use to be better service.

Mayra is the worst hair stylist. I highly do not recommend, this person is incompetent we asked asked for blonde and she gaves me black hair. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE .

Got there at 7:50 and according to website closes at 9:00 but was declined service wile half the staff talked and could not quickly cut my hair.
