Overall great experience! The atmosphere was filled with positive vibes which I was impressed because not too many stylist in one space seem to get along or be as helpful to one another. You can tell they are very concerned with you and your hair. It is a weave salon but they certainly do care about what your doing with natural hair aside from the install. I cant remember the assistants name but she didnt braid me too tight, she massaged my scalp with this light oil (it smelled so good), and told me how important it was to trim my ends. I still didnt get my ends trimmed but Lord knows I need it. My install lasted well over 2 months without me having to go back for maintenance but because of the condition of my natural hair and the advice of the stylist I decided not to leave it in forever. I recommended this salon to my co workers and we all give it 5 stars because the stylist care and they take their time. Ive asked the dumbest questions and not one them made me fill uncomfortable. My stylist was Sheronda, but ask for any of them. Any client that got up out of there chair looked good especially me. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND I WILL DEFINITELY KEEP SPREADING THE WORD! Ms. Lexy

I love weaves and extension!!! I currently an following House of Hair DMV on Instagram. I liked several pictures, made several comments, but never went to get my hair done. The owner replied and said when are you going to make an appointment. I called, made my appointment, while on the phone I asked about the hair that I purchased to be installed and she reassured me about my hair purchase. I arrived, was quickly greeted by everyone in the shop, meet my stylist, and the braider started. The stylist parts your hair based on where you want the closure.....but you dont have to have a closure; I just dont want any hair left out. After being braided we discussed the style I wanted, incase I changed my mind, and then Brianna SLAYED my HAIR!!!!! I love the way the closure was installed, the way the hair fell, and my romantic curls that she gave me. If you are looking for a hair home, try House of Hair and see for yourself. First of all, let me say this is an extraordinary business that should be more recognized. The owner not only cares about her clients but she offers tips and reccomendations. She was very patient with my indecisiveness about what hair color and style I wanted, but in the end she customized my hair color that was right for not only my skin complexion but personality as well and stayed during the time of my entire installation to make sure I was beyond satisfied. This environment offers comedy, entertainment, and an educational vibe on personal hair care. Never have Ive been to a place and felt so comfortable and trustworthy of their work. Where do I start?! I had a terrible experience at another salon with my full sew in. I called House of Hair and spoke with Savannah who told me to come in and let them see what they could do for me. Upon arrival Savannah looked at my hair, had Elandra do a consult, then she started cutting out the disaster that was done to my hair. Savannah informed me of what she was doing every step of the way even braiding it. Elandra then installed my bundles and closure and i have to say her hands are BLESSED! She took her time and perfected it! I left with the confidence i was lacking when i arrived. Thank you ladies soooooooo much. You definitely have a new client. See you ladies soon. Thanks again!!!

I absolutely LOVE my hair! Brianna and Savannah did everything I asked, from coloring my hair, to weaving the way I wanted, to the thickness of my weave that I prefer. I have been to several salons and have been happy with the work, but not all the way happy. But these girls have real talent, a 100.00 sew in special on Mondays, and this is the second time I have used the hair I purchased there. It actually looks better the second time around. Im highly recommend this shop!

I LOVE it here, only place I come to get my weaves done. Always very professional and my hair looks great and last for a very long time, even down to the foundation (braiding) technique. Savannah has my hair looking so natural, I constantly get compliments and people wanting to know if its my hair or not.
