Very pleased from start to finish. Got a reasonable quote including options on the number of crew. Made the appointment for a week out and was surprised there were no conflicts with day & time I needed. Opted for a 2 man crew since the primary purpose was to move heavy furniture only. I choose to move the small stuff myself over the 2 days before. No appliances needed to be moved since we were moving from one rental unit to another. Not certain when the crew left Frederick but they were about 30 minutes later than expected - not a big deal. The guys who came were very good about organizing and doing the work without delay. Hot, humid day but they did not take a break until close to two hours into the move. They also had to deal with the unexpected task of taking a desk apart to move it (I had put it together in the room & did not realize it would not go through the door). They put it back together when they moved it to the new apartment. The unloading went well as they moved everything where we asked them. They also were understanding about my requests to use the rug sliders/protectors for the heavy pieces. They also took care with my request to watch out for a few pieces which could be classified as antique. No damage to report on anything. The only thing I would change (or suggest to anyone else) is confirm the size of truck they were bringing. The brought a full size moving van which was actually more than what was needed. If I had realized that, I might have changed my mind about how much of the "little" stuff I would move myself. The job did run over from the estimate but most of that was due to the time to dismantle/reassemble the big desk. Very understandable and no problem for me to accept the extra charge. I would not use this mover ever again. we made it VERY clear what we needed moved most of the house - we packed up and put in storage ourselves- the rest is at a 2 bedroom apt - that will also need to be moved made it VERY clear - a 4 bedroom colonal house - oversized 2 car garage with workshop - and full basement this took 2 DAYS again everthing was already packed they just had to pick up from storage and apt. and deliver to new home we also made it very clear as to the size of the storage unit first they were late BOTH DAYS only 3 men showed up - no uniforms - very unprofessional next day the second day they cut out early - didnt want to finish - wanted to take a 3rd day - and then over charged us - the quote was $1500.00 - (my mistake did not get this in writing) when they asked for payment it was almost $3,000.00 thats because they added wrong - so when the correction was made we cut a check to them for $2162.50 when I called to inquire about the bill and the service - I was told basically it was my fault because we had so much stuff - again, we made it VERY CLEAR - the size of our home and the storage unit where most of the items where stored - - its their job as "professionals" to provide a truck/s and crew to complete the job in one day, as we were told would happen. Then they didnt want to take the basement items down there - so they left them in the garage - what a nightmare!!!!!! HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK -

Do not use Wolfe Moving Systems. My simple move which was just furniture and appliances turned into a nightmare. One of the three movers that showed up was sick and inexperienced (according to the owner) and not only caused extensive damage to appliances and furniture, but also damaged hardwood floors. The sick employee also caused the move to take about 1 1/2 times longer than the estimate, the owner made no reparations to make things right regarding this with me financially but admitted fault. I was given a minimal settlement based on the weight of the items damaged, but was not nearly enough to cover the damages done. Especially frustrating was the damage to a refrigerator which would obviously not fit through the door, but was tried to be forced through anyways. I had to intervene and remove the doors for them. Point here is that you get what you pay for and you should look elsewhere for your moving needs.

Everything went exceptionally well! My sons company movers could not accomodate him on the day he wanted to move. So with only 3 1/2 days notice Wolfe Moving Systems came through. Chris Wolfe was very helpful on the ph. and a pleasure to do business with. Steve & Mike showed up on time and didnt waste a minute getting right to work. They were both very friendly, hard working and made this move a breeze! They were very careful in wrapping the big screen tv and glass top table. They secured everything in the truck before leaving. Only snag, the new parking lot in VA had just been paved and we could not get to the front door. The professionals that they are found a way to the back door, moved everything safely in to where it belonged and they were on their way. We couldnt have been more pleased and will definitely call them again!

Chris, handled his business very unprofessionally. Unfortunately, it seems as if he is a chronicle lier after he gave us 5 different excuses for why his employees were 2 1/2 hours late -- later we found out he over booked his team. They showed up after having worked 10 hours already and were exhausted. I later found out this is how he runs his business which is unethical and just straight wrong for both his employees and people he promises service to. Unfortunately, after a 6 hour move, mostly done by myself and my friends that I had to panically call for help the move from hell was finished -- it was a 5 mile move. I guess you get what you pay for -- I feel for the two gentleman on his team who moved us after a 10 hour day.

On 23 June 2017, Wolfe Moving System completed my local move. Approximately one week prior to completion of the move, Chris (the owner), conducted a walk-thru of my home and provided an estimate. The estimate provided was reasonable and competitive with the other quotes that I had received. The day of my move, the team arrived on time and worked quickly, but efficiently to complete my move. Any issues or concerns that I had were immediately addressed by the team leader (Jermaine). Overall, my experience with Wolfe was positive. I would definitely use their services again, and I have already recommended them to a co-worker.

Not much of a reviewer, but these guys need to be commended for their work. VERY hard workers. Moved out of my TH on a Thursday, stored my furniture overnight, and moved it into my new house Friday afternoon. Both instances, the guys were on time and went right to work. I literally had to force them to take a water break and grab something to eat. These guys were professional and made my move that much easier. I did have Chris come out after I signed the contract to make sure we were all on the same page. He addressed my concerns and answered all my questions. I would use these guys again!
