Not sure where to start - as every aspect of our move, from the initial quote to the final signoff was professionally executed with amazing attention to every detail. There is an art to loading an assortment of shapes and sizes of furniture, art, marble table tops, fragile boxes, and electronics. We were amazed at how effectively and efficiently they were able to pack our lives into a 26 truck! They arrived ON TIME (on THE hottest day of the year) with the entire crew - prepped the house to protect our flooring and doorways - and inventory tagged EVERYTHING that would be going before moving anything on to the truck. At one point in the move they realized that we had a glass top on our office desk that they hadnt known about moving and within 15 minutes Drew and Nestor (company managers/experts) were on the scene helping to make a decision with the crew as to whether to wrap the desk WITH the glass on it or wrap the glass separately. They introduced themselves - addressed the issue - and moved on to satisfy another customer need Im sure! Amazingly - the team that drove the truck to Florida was as intimately familiar with what was loaded into the truck as the packing team - and walked with us through the new home to determine where everything was going to go before prepping the house. Cant say enough awesome things about the Our Guys Around Town Movers teams - and the way they made us feel like the success of our move was the only thing that mattered to them that day. And thanks to Yelp for helping us find the perfect team to move us to the next chapter of our lives. You ROCK!

This was the best experience I have had with a moving company, and that includes three corporate moves across the United States. The crew showed up on time, did some surveillance to locate the freight elevator and loading dock, (logistics) and then proceeded to give me an overview of how they were going to wrap and protect the antiques, fine reproduction furniture, lamps and Persian rugs, I had purchased from a family members estate sale. The crew was courteous, attentive, listened carefully to my instructions. Even though it was a long afternoon, they were cheerful and never complained about the heavy work, wrapping and lifting of pieces. The foreman answered my questions thoroughly and expectations were understood with clarity by both parties. This company is superb at communications, follow-up, providing information and also user friendly. Their fees are competitive and fair. They offer storage in their own climate controlled warehouse if one needs those services. They are simply superior to any moving company that I have ever used and I highly recommend them. Although they are primarily a "local" mover for the mid-Atlantic area (Pennsylvania to North Carolina) they are easily able to contract with long distance carriers, such as when my shipment had to be delivered to my home in California. Our Guys Around Town are simply the best. Choose them - you will have an excellent experience, no bad surprises and be very satisfied. Michael S

After calling a few different moving companies in the Reston, VA area, I decided to go with OGATM and I am grateful that I did! What an amazing job these guys did for me. They moved an entire house with a lot of furniture and boxes and did it with ease. They packed all of my clothes themselves in wardrobe boxes and hung them all up for me at the new place. They arrived about 5 minutes before the scheduled time, they were cheerful and pleasant and eagerly started the process and had the place emptied and on the truck in just a matter of hours. It was nice to hear some happy chatter while they worked, they were so polite and friendly and respectful (I once had a moving company provide people that had been drinking the night before and actually got into a fist fight in my house - that was NOT the case here) The job was done professionally, politely, quickly, and the price was right, too. I would recommend Our Guys Around Town Movers to anyone! Theyll do a great job for you, too!

Our Guys were great! Submitted my request online and they called me in about an hour and were able to set up our move in 3 days notice! The movers showed up an hour early! We had 3 men and 1 truck! They were super efficient and extremely respectful to us and our belongings! We were a little worried about them moving some of our antiques but they wrapped everything in quilted blankets and didnt hit any walls or obstacles in their way! The move took 6 hours, which was a little longer than we expected but I blame my husband and myself. This was our first move having movers move us and we should have given better direction on where to have them put things when we got to the new house, a lesson to be learned by us for the next time! We will definitely use them again for our next move! Thanks Guys! Yall were AMAZING!

DO NOT call anyone else, before you call "Our Guys!" Moving is already stressful, but from start to finish our process was on time, affordable and STRESS FREE! Eric has the most wonderful customer service and the crew didnt once stop smiling. Our move had the crew traveling out of state to do 2 pick ups. Both needed to be packed and loaded. Upon their final destination in Leesburg, they unpacked everything with great care and efficiency! I was so happy, I could have cried. I got all the credit from family, while Our Guys did all the work. There are always accidents or problems that slow a process down, but our move was on time at every location, never had travel issues of getting lost and not broken items upon arrival. I hope never to move again, but when I do, they will be the only company I call.

I found these guys on the internet and hired them because of their great reviews. Here comes another one! My move was local. We had 3 men. They arrived on time, were very courteous and professional. The move took 3 hrs and they worked very hard the entire time. Although everything is not unpacked yet, I have not found any damages, whatsoever. I would highly recommend Our Guys Around Town Movers for your next move and I would definitely hire them again. I found their rates to be reasonable and fair. And dont forget to tip the guys for their work. They deserved it and they appreciated it :-) If I were to give those 3 guys any words of advice, it would be to not speak Spanish in front of the customers because you never know when those customers can understand Spanish, and thats all Ill say about that.

A big move with a wife 9 months pregnant is an intimidating thing. After contacting some other moving companies, I chose Our Guys Around Town because Eric was responsive, straight-forward, and honest. Many of the services other companies were nickeling and diming me for (or worse hidden) was all part of the move. Carlos and his team took excellent care of our entire household, protected all the floors and entry ways with blankets and padding, and everyone involved moved with a sense of purpose. From start to finish the flexibility, professionalism, prompt response for all my questions, and ease of setting everything up - the team far exceeded my expectations. I highly highly recommend this company for any move. I will certainly be reaching out again on my next one!
